Food was alright, nothing to memorable. Our server was going home halfway through our meal and tried multiple times to close our tab. I get she wants to get her tip but it was an unpleasant experience as a guest. We were obviously here for the game like everyone else and was not planning to leave in the second quarter. Waitress kept coming back every 5 to 10 min to try and clear our plates. After the third of fourth time I just told her to take it away so they don't keep bothering us. Unfortunately that was my lasting impression after she closed the tab and went home. We could have stuck around longer to order more drinks but vibe was already ruined and it was a terrible game. Not to mention one of the TV stopped working and speakers were cutting in and out the whole time.

I wouldn't suggest ordering a salad, it was basic iceberg lettuce with some shredded cheese and lumpy balsamic dressing. The quahog appetizer was actually really good and I would order that again. I ordered the turkey tips, they were good but not amazing. My wife ordered the Alfredo cheese bread and the sauce was a gloopy tasteless mess. My jack and diet was strong so that was a nice surprise. Overall, this is one of those places that locals will tell you it's great because they have eating the same 6 out of 10 dishes for 15 years. The service was good and they are nice people but it's nothing to write home about. If we were local we'd probably frequent, but driving 45 minutes we probably won't make it back here, if that tells you anything. Thanks

The restaurant has some indoor seating and you can see them work in your order. I also liked the local choices for drinks and chips that are available. The grilled stacker is huge and could feed two people. You get a lot of value compared to Boston's Sam Lagrassa's for comparable quality and taste. The combination of the pastrami, corned beef, Swiss, coleslaw and Russian dressing is perfect. You'll need to figure out how to tackle this sandwich! The meat is so tender and melts in your mouth. This place will not disappoint.

There's a half circle bar top area as well as a few tabletops, allowing either eat in or takeout options. Food was pricey, but was justified by the amount and quality of the sandwiches. Of note, some sandwiches are available as 1/2 portions so look for those on the menu if you aren't that hungry or plan to bring some home. It's deli meats so can be salty for some, but they also come with a wide variety of other toppings. Staff were very friendly. Definitely a space where they have their regulars but everyone is made to feel welcome.

We arrived during the dinner rush and were lucky to get one of the last available tables. Despite how busy it was, we were seated quickly, and our server immediately went over the dinner specials with us. We started with the fried calamari, which was decent--nothing extraordinary, but still enjoyable. For our main dishes, I ordered the pistachio‑crusted haddock with grilled vegetables, while my colleague chose the fajitas. The dinner special was the highlight for me: the haddock was incredibly fresh, cooked perfectly, and wonderfully moist with a delicate, flaky texture. I loved it. My colleague said the fajitas were fine, though not particularly memorable for his taste. Service throughout the evening was excellent, especially considering the crowd. Overall, I really enjoyed our meal and the attentive service. I'd happily return the next time I'm in town.

Especially when advertised as "world's best" of similar flattering words. Recently I was gifted a Grandma's of New England Coffee Cake. It was a thoughtful gift and I managed to overcome my "allergy" mostly because it was well-packaged and actually looked good. My initial reaction to cutting was to note that it was fresh and moist. There seemed to be a well-balanced amount of cinnamon and nuts too. I have to be honest, though, I was not bowled over by the flavor when eating the first slice. It was good but not great. The next day, after the cake was sitting on the counter overnight, unwrapped and enclosed in the box, I had a second piece and it was FANTASTIC. Not sure what made the difference but all of the sudden I understood the "world's best" advertising. I do have two concerns, though, which would not stop me from eating this product but does make me scratch my head. One is that the box had no "use by" or "produced on" date. There were several instructions about how long it could be kept under differing conditions but no date from which to compute "best storage". The other is that there seems to be an awful lot of emulsifiers, etc, with chemical-like names in the ingredients list. I'm sure they contributed to the delightful texture and probably to the product longevity, but for something advertised as having no this, that, or the other thing I really had to wonder. All-in-all, though... a good product from a very intriguing company.

I would've preferred my money back because my replacement wasn't any better Pepperoni pizza 4/10 Had a good amount of toppings but the bottom was completely soggy and falling apart Steak combo 5/10 It was okay but the bread was overly toasted and there wasn't much meat for the price point Fried dough 8/10 It's really good but not worth the price for the portion size and I'd wish they'd break up the powdered sugar instead of throwing giant rocks in the box. French fries 6/10 They're French fries. Nothing to call home about Cheesecake 6/10 Good sized slice but not a fan of the fake strawberry glaze on it Grilled chicken Salad 5/10 Portion size is good but mainly lettuce and not the other toppings and the grilled chicken just tasted of char. No other flavor The place looks completely run down outside and the woman at the windows attitude matched, however, the man on the phone was really nice and accommodating. For the price they should definitely be giving better quality food and larger portions.

I would say that this is not just a restaurant but a hang out for the local Haitian population. Dont worry though, everyone is super nice and as soon as they see me they switch to english. Its not even immediately apparent what the restaurant serves. Its called a bakery, yes you can get bread here but it is also a restaurant, mostly a takeout restaurant, but there are some folks typically sitting around watching the TV at the bar with a plate of food. What can you get here, well it depends on what was cooked that day, the menu varies daily, and by menu I mean the handwritten piece of paper that says whats available that day. Typically it is a meat, a vegetable item, and rice+beans. Sometimes there are two meat options sometimes there are two vegetable items and sometimes only the one. You order a large or a small portion. The large is around nine dollars and the small around six. The large is really two meal-size styrofoam containers of food. One with rice and beans, the other with meat+veg. It truly is a wonderful deal. They also serve "patties" kinda like a Jamaican beef patty but fluffier flakier crust, they come in beef, fish, or chicken and are $1.50 a pop. Order three if you want to go from hungry to full. This place isnt going to win any culinary awards or be written up in the globe's dining section but it is delicious, authentic, home-style cooking. Despite the lack of reviews this place is always busy diligently serving up affordable home-style food to the local Haitian population.
