Great place! The wait was short. I brought my mother here AFTER an almost-two hour wait at another place that continued to put others in front of us (so much for the "two in front of you" wait). The front office staff were all friendly and helpful. We were even allowed to fill out forms the old-fashioned way with pen and paper! The NP was knowledgeable and very caring. We left in less than an hour with prescriptions waiting at the pharmacy. read more

This is not a great place! I went in for my brother who was sick with a fever and a cough ended up getting a prescription that was supposed to get sent to my pharmacy but they didn't even send all of them so I had to call again in order for them to re send it and so that I could actually give him the medicine. However once I gave him it he never got better he is still not doing good and I definitely don't recommend this place for anyone. Including the uncleanliness of this place is definitely not up to standard. read more

Took my 5 year old daughter in for stomach pain, the front desk staff was nice and polite. They sent us to the back to get her vitals. My daughter had a fever of over 100, she hadn't been able to keep anything down at all. She wasn't eating nor sleeping from the stomach pain. When the doctor came in to check on her she literally didn't do anything. She just stood there and talked to me about it being a viral infection. She didn't touch her stomach or anything to see where the pain was. That same day I took her to san jacinto emergency room and they did an X-ray and it turns out her apendix had already ruptured, she had to be rushed to Methodist in the woodlands to have surgery. I was so let down, we went there for help and the doctor didn't do anything. I'm not sure why. I wouldn't recommend honestly. I would give 0 starts if I could. read more

DON'T DO IT! PLEASE READ if care about your health! Would you want to be treated at a facility that doesn't send your prescription to the pharmacy? That's what will happen if you go here! I went for an 2nd degree burn that got infected. I left the facility @ 9:40pm I was told my prescription would be sent electronically to the pharmacy. Because it was late I had to go from Baytown to Deerpark for a 24 CVS pharmacy. When I arrived the pharmacist had no prescription for me, I asked her to look at any other CVS pharmacy log but nothing was sent out. I even went to Walgreens to see if they sent it to the wrong pharmacy, again nothing! I left home devastated. I called the urgent care in the morning to inform them my prescription was never sent to the pharmacy. They told me they would take care of it and call me back when it got sent to the pharmacy. An hour later no call, I call the urgent care back. I was told they didn't send it yet because they have been busy all morning! I lose it and tell them to make it a priority because I was a patient from yesterday and this should have been handled yesterday. Again I'm told they will call me back when it's completed. No call back from the urgent care. Finally 14hours later, I get a notification from my pharmacy, and still no call back from the urgent care! Did I mention that this 14hour delay caused my infection to spread! read more

I highly recommend this urgent care!!! After being recommended by a family member, I decided to give this location a visit. The triage staff was so kind and attentive, after turning in my new-patient paperwork, I was called back within 5 mins!!! I was seen by Doctor Kamran Khan who was extremely polite and truly cared for my well-being. I suffer with anxiety and can get feel very anxious when at the Doctors, however Dr. Khan relieved all my worries. Overall, my experience at this location could not have been any better. read more

I filled out paperwork, paid my $150 deductible, got sat in a room for literally 5 minutes for a doctor to come in and tell me they weren't equipped to monitor me since I was 8 months pregnant. I went in for what I believed to be a sinus infection but wanted to get a COVID test just incase. The doctor came in for 20 seconds. Looked at my throat and told me to use over the counter medication and vitamins I was already taking and use regularly. Never looked in my ears, never listened to my chest/lungs. Treated me like I could have Covid and sent out. I've been going to this urgent care since it opened years ago and I've never been treated like this. It was interesting that I always pay a copay but this time they didn't charge me at all. I wasn't treated like a person I was treated like I was a negative or positive test. They called me back with my NEGATIVE results and when I asked if there's anything they can do because I'm not getting better, I was told to come in again to be reevaluated and that I would be charged a copay! I took my sick child to Baytown Urgent Care on West Baker Road. My seven year old son had fever, coughing, congestion, runny nose, headaches and a sore throat. Nurse Practitioner, Shannon Havens did not order any testing to see what he had. She said she was just going to treat the symptoms. She prescribed a steroid, allergy medicine and cough medicine. I responded, he usually gets an antibiotic for an upper respiratory Infection. She said she practices medicine a little differently. Anyway, because she did not prescribe him the antibiotic; two weeks later my son still had high fever and a severe upper respiratory infection. I went here to take my kids because they were sick and once I got with the doctor he had no mask on even tho they were requiring mask for everyone that came in. So I had to wait for another nurse to attend me. Just imagen how many patients they attended in a day and you can be in a risk because they don't have a mask on. The doctor also didn't have a mask on and she attended a COVID positive patient then attended my kids without a mask!! read more

I went in this afternoon since I was incredibly sick. I had called previously since I wanted to find out if they took my insurance (tip: call first and let them know if they take your insurance). They did and I had all my things ready. I keep my electronic medical record in WebMD and it has my health history and medications I currently and was taking in the past. I printed it out and drove as quickly as I could do safely. When I arrived, the receptionist didn't acknowledge me since she was working with another patient. But eventually after I signed in the patient list (which was surprising since it was the first time I ever saw a list that covers the previous names of other patients), she gave me the paperwork to sign since I was a new patient. Now I know that receptionist don't usually have any medical skills so the 2 receptionists didn't know that I could not fill my information without help. If they did know to ask to help me, they went above-and-beyond, which would have made my day and would impress me (I specialize in customer experience so I'm familiar of what makes a person's day). Luckily, I am not new to doing paperwork like this so I dished it out in 10 minutes. I skipped all the redundant questions and attached my EMR from WebMD so they could copy it. After that, I waited about 10 min to be seen. I had my vitals taken by their tech, Robert, who noticed my blood pressure was too high (150/103) for my age and lifestyle (I live an active lifestyle). He retook it with a manual blood pressure device and we got 127/60, HR 64. Now, that's awesome. Afterwards, when I got to the patient room, Dr. Syed Naser Mujeeb saw me within about 30 seconds - this doesn't happen often with MDs. I told him my health history and what happened, and showed him what meds I took at home. He gave me my prescriptions for my illness but he also addressed my pain, which is lacking in most MDs I have met with in the past. Pain is the 5th essential vital, often overlooked, ignored, down-played by all medical personnel from receptionists, techs, nurses, MD's. Dr. Mujeeb addressed it without me mentioning it. I don't like taking controlled substances since they make me feel not myself, but because I was in so much pain - I needed to man up and take the meds. I received 5 meds total. My co-pay was $40. There was an adjacent pharmacy next door, which was connected by a door; they are not affiliated since GR Cure Pharmacy is an independent business (read my review with them). I didn't even have to exit the Urgent Care to go to the next door pharmacy! Which was awesome since I did not at all feel well to drive by myself. Background: I have gone to the ER on the corner of Garth and W Baker Rd; the wait time, service, and medical treatment was abysmal. I knew my condition and required fluids and needed at least 2 Lomotil tabs to control my symptoms. They did nothing, ran labs, gave me a script for Lomotil to drive to a pharmacy down the road (that place had horrible customer service). After that, I got a bill for $600+. Now compare that with $40 from the Urgent Care. If you can't go to your Primary Doctor (for me, my MD is unavailable on weekends), go to this Urgent Care (but make sure your insurance is acceptable!) read more

I am beyond disappointed in the service I received from this place. I actually received a recommendation from a friend to see a doctor at this clinic. I was told by my friend that a particular doctor is their primary care physician. I too was in search of a PCP, so that I could establish a history with one dr, rather than continuing to go to walk-in clinics. While the name of this place says URGENT CARE MDs, there is a sign in the window of the building that says PRIME CARE MDs. Also, if you search PrimeCare MDs in a search engine, the urgent care center shows up. I called first thing in the morning asking about making an appointment and looking to find a new PCP. The lady was very rude and insisted that my first visit must be a walk-in and then I could sign a paper to make the dr. my PCP. She didn't even listen to what I had to say. What I needed to be seen for was certainly not 'urgent', hence why I wanted to make an appointment. Regardless of all of this, because my friend had recommended a doctor from this clinic, I decided to go to the walk-in clinic at lunch. When I arrived, service was quick (I filled out all the forms prior to going) and was charged the copay for an "urgent care visit". I was rushed through the system like at any other "doc in a box" type place, similar to if I had gone to a walk-in clinic at a pharmacy or grocery store. I didn't even see the doctor I was hoping to make my PCP, I saw a PA. After being shoo-ed out of the office I turned back to the receptionist, confused, and asked again about wanting a PCP. She again (I'm assuming it was the same lady) was rude to me, handed me a bunch of business cards and tried to hurry me out the door. The rude receptionist insisted that if I wanted a PCP I had to come through urgent care first at their facility. It turns out, the same Doctor(s) who sees people at the urgent care, does Primary care at another location where I could have called and made an appointment and paid half of what I paid since it wasn't 'urgent care'. To make matters worse, I went for a second opinion on my health issue, and the PA I had seen completely misdiagnosed my situation (actually told me nothing was wrong and to wait it out). I obviously cannot speak for the actual Doctors as this place, since my close friends actually really like them but I'm not sure I will be back to figure it out. This place would be great for your quick in and out visit as it should be for an urgent care facility. However, since the business is affiliated with the primary care office and knowing that the doctors here operate at that facility as well, the staff should have been knowledgeable and shown enough customer service to address those customers and send them in the right direction (especially if it costs someone twice their co-pay to come to an urgent care center). read more

Called at 11:30 to see till what time they closed they told me well I don't know but we're here now so I went ahead and went got there at 12:00 exactly, then it was still 2:11 and still no doctor to check and when I asked they would say if you were next they would have been In there already... super rude staff I'll never be back here again!!!! read more

This place is very unorganized and very unprofessional. I have been trying to get my medical release papers from them for a week. They first told me it would take 48 hours then I called after that they told me 72 then when I went up to get them they told me 7-10 days and that they didn't know where my paperwork was. I am just a taxpayer trying to get back to work and my job is in jepeordy because they are being uprofessional and inefficient would not recommend this place to anyone. I would take my chances anywhere else and would rather handle my medical issues anywhere else. Id rather die in the street then go into this place one more time. read more

Took my 6 year old son to urgent care after he cut his forehead open after a bike accident.my wife has been to this urgent care previously and was pleased with the service . The staff was very helpful and courteous . Took us right inside to the trauma room even before us doing any paper work . The doctor walked in and examined him to make sure that the case was within the scope of the facility and that my son was ok after head trauma. The doctor was thorough and explained various option for repairing the wound . He also offered to call the plastic surgeon and see if he was available ( that is if we preferred to go that route) . We decided to get it done there . The procedure was done very professionally and even though my son was freaked out about the numbing needle the doctor and the nurses somehow talked him into staying still . We got our prescriptions and were out of the center within an hour ( it was Sunday evening) ...it was quick, efficient and a pleasant surprise that such a entity exists in Baytown . I am surprised they don't advertise much . Much better experience then Er .the wound healed beautifully ..no scar..saved me a bundle...would definitely recommend this facility . read more
