Refresher
Maria D.

Great little spot if you're looking for something sweet but not as bad for you. They offer mini protein doughnuts, protein coffee, shakes, caffeinated tea refreshers and waffles! Everything made fresh to order. The owners are very friendly and conversational. Ambiance is trendy with a neon sign, perfect for your Instagram feed! I got a box of a dozen variety doughnuts. Perfectly bite sized and nice and soft. You can customize waffles toppings and fruit is all fresh cut per order. The refreshers are full of flavor and the kick of caffeine will be sure to get you through the day. Love the touch of the gummy on top!

Awesome place! Tried the Florida Refresher and it was delicious! Definitely will visit again!

You can tell so much thought went into every detail--from the cozy vibe to the way the drinks are made with so much care. The coffee is AMAZING. Smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced every single time. Their specialty drinks are on another level too--creative, flavorful, and not overly sweet like most places. You can really taste the quality. And the staff? Literally the sweetest people ever. They're fast, friendly, and make you feel like a regular even if it's your first visit. This isn't just a coffee shop, it's a whole experience. Whether you're stopping in for a quick drink or staying to hang out, it's 100% worth it. I'll definitely be coming back again and again

Grind Haus is one of those hidden gems we all like to pretend we "discovered," even though the…read moresteady crowd proves everyone else already figured it out. It's run by a group of women who feel welcoming & happy to see you, in the way they greet you and move with purpose behind the counter. Service is fast, friendly, and they make it look effortless. Their drinks? Always on point. They made me a cookie butter latte -- iced, hot, whatever it technically was -- and it was ridiculously good. Their breakfast-style bites hit the spot too. The muffins, the bagels... I can't even remember everything I've tried, but I remember it all being delicious. That's the important part. The space has this inviting brick-and-wood vibe that gives it a little "up north" feel. Comfortable seating, pleasant atmosphere, the kind of place you can sit with your thoughts or escape the house for a bit. They've also got juices and boba teas, and honestly, I haven't had a single thing from their menu that missed. If you live in the area and want a spot that feels like your spot -- freshly brewed coffee, good food, good people -- Grind Haus is it.

Visited Sorbo Coffee and immediately realized Wesley Chapel is not the Florida I thought I knew…read more Sorbo sits in a sector of Florida that is heavily shaped by international growth, particularly Middle Eastern and multicultural communities alongside younger professionals, students, and families. The atmosphere and clientele may feel very different from what some longtime Floridians expect. What stood out to me most was seeing so many women in hijabs, large family groups, and women sitting side by side deeply engaged in their conversations over coffee and desserts. As someone who has never visited a Muslim country, it was honestly a real culture shock for me. That said, the atmosphere felt warm, polished, social, and community-driven. People were relaxed, focused on their conversations, and genuinely present with one another instead of constantly looking around the room. It felt less like a quick coffee stop and more like a modern international gathering space. Florida keeps surprising me... and Sorbo gave me a glimpse into a side of modern American culture I simply haven't experienced before.

Duck, duck, WHITE duck! What a fun find! On a pea soup fog kind of morning, this cute and happy…read morelittle drive-thru served up sunshine. The staff... both the guy with the tablet who took my order while I was in the drive-thru line-and the gal at the window-were so warm, friendly, chill and helpful. I'd go back just to bask in their positivity! But kindness isn't the only thing on the menu. There's coffee, tea, plant-based energy drinks, Italian sodas... and dozens (I think 75) of flavors you can add to them. In a fist visit, I usually start with chai tea latte... but today I asked for suggestions and ended up with a hot hibiscus tea with added pear flavoring. It was so floral and different! Hello new year! This knocked "the usual" on its head. I'm not sure that it will end up being my favorite offering here, but yeah... here's to shaking things up! I also tried the rainbow bagel-which was pretty and tasty. I liked the chew. Next time I'll try the strawberry cream cheese with it. There are filled croissants, too... but I forgot to ask about the flavors-and you can get mini donuts, too. White Duck was founded by a couple of Seattle transplants, who wanted to bring the "two windows in a shed" model of Pacific Northwest coffee shops to the Bay Area. And that's exactly what this is-a drive thru-no indoor seating-and I didn't see any outdoor tables, either. This is grab and go. But there's parking behind the building, if you want to sit and savor a bit. The shop is way up on North Dale Mabry-near Van Dyke-on the east side, right next to a Wendy's. It wasn't busy when I first got there but there at 8:30 on a Wednesday morning, but it soon picked up. I can see why... it's so convenient and the staff is so nice. They really stand out. I can't wait to stop in again and try more! I read on the website that the owners lost a child to cancer and part of the proceeds from each purchase goes to research. Well now I just have to try all those 75 flavors! See you soon, White Duck!

Finally! A cozy cafe with an ambience like no other place in Tampa! I was so excited to try out…read moretheir coffee. They have unique flavors and blends that are absolutely delicious. The cafe itself was easy to find. Parking lot is large and easy to find. As soon as I walked in, you can sense a feeling of calmness and peace. They played classical piano instrumentals and it honestly gave me the best experience. This says a lot about a place because it's not just good coffee it's also having a quiet clean cafe that's good on the eye. And the music ?- YES ! Now the coffee. I can simply say after traveling all over the world and being incredibly picky with my coffee, Lunar coffee is 10/10 and rated the BEST in Tampa. My go to spot now.

I should have stayed... and soaked up the zen vibes. But I had errands to run, for my third and final Christmas party (I know, in mid January) (!), so I dashed. But this just means I have to go back. Lunar Coffee is in the end unit of a two story building, with a big gorgeous tree out front. It's shady and peaceful- you forget busy 56th Street is right out there. There's a private parking lot with lots of spaces. It's a little tight-and there are lots of businesses that share that lot. Don't let it scare you off. It's worth it. The shop is so clean-with lots of table seating and some high counter seating at the front. There was soothing music on when I was there, on a cool Thursday morning. There were lots of customers but it didn't seem frantic or hectic. It's like everyone just leaves their stress at the door. You feel it sort of roll right off you. I had the most pleasant gal take my order. She was very sweet. I should have asked her more questions about the treats I saw in the glass case and about the menu. I should have taken more time. Now I know better. There's a lot to like here-and I'll be back to enjoy it.

The décor is modern and clean. The Deerioca plushie cushions along the wall in the seating area are so cute. The drinks are unique. They also offer snacks such as crab rangoons and croffles. The service was pleasant & professional. We were greeted as soon as we entered. Surprisingly, it wasn't that busy on a summer weekday. The Ube Brown Sugar Deerioca Crème Brûlée Milk Tea was delicious! Their signature Deerioca tapioca balls are sweeter (more sugar than honey) than ones I've had at other shops. The crème brûlée is mixed into the drink. Keep that in mind if you have issues with texture. It's more of a clumpy pudding texture than a whipped one. Not a bad thing, but some may not agree. The drink can be customized to your liking. On the other hand, I wasn't too impressed with the Matcha Croffle. The buttery taste that makes these croffles so good was totally nonexistent. I didn't even taste the matcha even though it was sprinkled on top. It's just my opinion, and nothing more. I'd skip the croffle next time, or try another flavor. Otherwise, it was okay for an average waffle. The subtle Harry Potter references are very cool. I've read that the owner is a big Harry Potter fan. Supposedly, the original name of the brand was "Diagon Alley" but was later shortened. If you look real closely at the logo, you'll see the "da" in it. It could stand for anything at this point. I don't know... maybe it's a coincidence that there is a deer in the logo that could be Harry's stag patronus. Either way, there is a definite reference even if it is subtle. It's kind of like finding a hidden Mickey, maybe? Just take a closer look at that boba cup the next time you're there. I'm looking forward to trying more of their unique drinks. It's the perfect stop while shopping at this outdoor mall in the summer heat.
