Tried their sandwiches and bowls and really liked the balance of sauce/flavoring with letting the natural ingredients come through. Just prepared very well and even nice to look at. What impressed me even more though was the service. They were super busy while we were there and we admittedly mixed up the name of a dish. Twice. When the food came and we finally figured it out, they were incredible gracious and kindly fixed it all for us without even a hint of annoyance. I loved that the menu wasn't overwhelming and that I was able to order two things I couldn't decide between and didn't break the bank. The Salmon bowl and the BBQ sandwich were top tier. The bread that came with the meal was very tasty. Service is just the person at the register and a runner, it was fine. They have indoor and outdoor tables. The only thing that was a bummer was that the restrooms are definitely a no go zone, very badly maintained. I would recommend not using them, and I don't say this lightly. read more

This is a restaurant chain, although I have never heard of it before. They had clean bathrooms and didn't require me to buy anything to use them. Wow wow wow! A definite five star for Urbane Cafe. We just happened to stumble across this place as soon as we found a parking spot that happened to be right across the street. The name itself exudes freshness. And that's exactly what we got for our casual dinner fare. The menu boast a decent variety of cold and hot sandwiches as well as salads. It's not your standard deli, and instead there are many options to satisfy those who want something as basic as a grilled cheese to those who like a little bit of flair. This is a fast casual type of dining experience where you place your order at the counter, and they give you a number to identify your order and bring your order directly to you when it is ready. We ordered the Portobello mushroom sandwich that is served on focaccia type bread and it comes with a side garden salad. Also, we ordered the salmon salad which comes with a side of Chipotle creamy dressing and the same focaccia bread. Both were excellent! Portion sizes were significant and definitely were a great value. But even better than that were the flavors and freshness of the ingredients. They say that a good nutricious meal contains many different colors of foods and surely the pictures provided here are representative of the terrific presentation and taste! There is plenty of dining spaces inside and in the outdoor patio. On a cool but still warm evening we thoroughly enjoyed dining outdoors. Husband chose the Salmon Salad, substituting Balsamic Vinaigrette in place of the Chipotle Ranch dressing. Soup & Salad combo. Kiddo chose the Tomato soup. She was very happy with the soup. And she loved the mandarins that came with the house side salad (even though she normally doesn't like anything orange/citrusy). There is free wifi at this location; ask them for the wifi password. There are also 2 restrooms at the back of the restaurant ... head toward the back and hang a right at the fire extinguisher on the wall.
