I tried their Screw City Lager which was very good. My wife had their homemade Root Beer. We decided to split a few food items..Taquitos and Tacos. Both were outstanding. The Taquitos were made with a locally sourced pork barbacoa . The Shrimp Tacos were some of the best I ever had. Chili Garlic Tiger Shrimp with a sweet corn elote made the flavor pop. There was more than enough for us to share. Service was very good and there is plenty of parking available. I will definitely go back on a day when I can enjoy their outdoor dining area.

The list of brews is impressive and they even make their own root beer which I enjoyed because it is not heavily carbonated. The historic building and industrial yet comfortable interior added to the experience. It is located on the Rock River and the Dockside Taproom faces it with great views. They also have a huge selection to host events. To top it off our server Efstathia was friendly and helpful. I recommend this stop in Rockford.

We split a VERY GOOD pepperoni pizza and added hot honey. YUM! The beers we had were really nice, too. I had blueberry fields and enjoyed it. We'd definitely come back here if we were in Rockford again. The space is nice and I heard it's the main space PLUS a whole second side with additional seating. So, don't be dissuaded if you walk in and it's busy, you might just need to go around the corner!

You can get some cheap munchies. Coming in here in the afternoon it wasn't busy. It's mostly a few locals. The same ones probably here all the time. A basic menu. It's about $7 for a cocktail mixer. The food menu isn't that big but has a few options. It's about $8 for appetizers. We got the Pretzel Bites. Most of the menu is meaty. They have a few burgers with a few toppings. Got to say it's better than it looks. It's closed Sundays. This is located on Riverside at Renn Hart Hills close to Walgreens or whatever.

I started with their Red Ale..Route 2 Red which was very good. We follow Hairy Cow on Instagram and saw the pizza for October was Butter Nut Squash which sounded interesting so my wife ordered it with a GF crust. She loved it! Squash, caramelized onions, prosciutto and arugula with a seasoned oil. I had a taste for wings so I ordered a 10 piece. I was surprised it was all legs and no flappers. I had their Sticky Sauce which was basically a Sweet Teriyaki and Mango Habanero. The Sticky Sauce was amazing. The other one was too much mango and not enough heat in my opinion. Service is good and parking is ok. A solid place to eat when in the Byron area.

This place is EASILY my favorite brewery in IL…read more I have been visiting More Brewing for several years now and I have never once left without being totally pleased with what I drank or ate. The Food They have a very diverse and inclusive menu. We are able to go with adult friends and/or our children and everyone is able to find something that suits them and they always seem to speak very highly of what they ordered. Their Pretzel is amazing, they have some of the best Cheese curds I have ever had, decent pizzas, Huge salads, and plenty of vegetarian options. I would be more than happy with their food even if they didn't have amazing beer. The Beer I have yet to try a beer from More Brewing that I didn't enjoy. Even the styles i typically do not enjoy. I think this speaks volumes to their brewers and the amazing work they are doing. I am an IPA fan and theirs are just better than most I have had. They even released a Malort Collab and it was unbelievable. If you're simply in the market for delicious cold refreshments, they have you covered. Staff I personally have never interacted with anyone that worked here that wasn't very pleasant to interact with. Everyone has a very chill, happy energy. The vibes here are always great and that goes a long way for someone like me. Merch If you're into Brewery swag, they have a cool storefront with excellent quality shirts and glasses. I will say, their glasses do not hold up well to traditional dishwashers so expect to handwash if you don't want lose the decals they apply to their glasses. I already tell everyone I know how much i love this place and how they have to try it, so the obvious next step was to tell the yelp world!

These were cold (now i wonder if they are SUPPOSED to be hot). The Italian beef eggrolls were also COLD (my granddaughter didnt tell me until today when i was collecting information from my guests). She said when she warmed them up at home they were good. :/ The Korean wings got a good review. The Nashville hot Chicken was not as good as Bartlett location, ALL fries were limp and should have been SO MUCH BETTER considering only 7 tables were occupied. The vooDoo fries were so undercooked it was sad as FRIES can carry the day lol. i cannot say i would recommend. we all felt our SERVER WAS GREAT, i brought my puppy and he asked if she needed a bowl of water). he was attentive and SO PATIENT/tolerant (had 2, 90 year-olds, 2 early twenties, one of them vegetarian). The 2 90 year olds didnt order anything. They said they moght have gotten a dessert but the 4 selections were all pretty much the same, gloppy. The Black Bean Burger was deemed "really good" and the Tuna Poke bowl review was, "it was good. The tuna seemed fresh." Both items may have been appreciated due to the margarita flight that was ordered to accompany. I recommend the Bartlett location. its smaller but they might have their sh*t together.

Scorched Earth is one of the main hangouts on weekends. A good amount of beers to choose from. There's a pretty big variety on tap. Coming here early in the afternoon, and it was already busy. It's a brewery that's also family friendly. That means it's okay to bring kids, which is getting increasingly common for breweries it seems. A lot of interesting sounding ones on the list. It's about $7 a pint. Pretty okay for locally owned and produced. Best of the ones we had was the Wunderpilz, a German style pilsner that was light. It's got no food in here except $5 tubs of Von Hanson's Pretzels. Has more when food trucks are here. There's usually one on site. Has a pretty hidden location off Algonquin Road on Berg. Solid people and beers. The husband and wife duo I spoke with were gracious and knowledgeable. The labels and artwork remind me a bit of Small Town/Not Your Father's- but don't let that distract you and don't pass judgment before tasting. This is real beer for beer drinkers. I don't throw around the work Craftsman too often, but Craftsman they are. They take old world qualities and bring them to modern tastes. Off Kilter surpasses many of the small home town breweries in the Midwest with the thought and quality they bring to the glass. If you like Kenosha's Public Brewing, Milwaukee's Mobcraft, or Michigan's Vivant and Perrin you'll enjoy Off Kilter's offerings. I had the O Do Yah and One Eyed Jack. Both were great.
