My top picks are the Nutty Cashew smoothie and Green Goddess bowl, but I end up enjoying whatever I get, even when I order outside my usual go-to flavours. Their stuff is not cheap but it's absolutely worth it. Their prepared wraps are also very good, as are the baked goods they carry by Rebel and To Live For. They have an extensive selection of protein powders and other supplements - I'm not into supplements besides protein powder so I wouldn't really know, but I find it hard to imagine needing something in that department that they don't carry. Even though I'm not the gym bro that the brand is probably aimed at, and you can definitely tell by looking at me, I never really feel out of place coming here for my smoothies and meals and occasional protein impulse buys. The staff is always friendly. Just keep in mind it can get busy and you may have to wait a while because the process is just not the fastest, especially for bowls, and even one of the premade wraps will take a few minutes if you opt to get it heated (which you should). But I highly recommend checking them out for a smoothie or (relatively) quick and healthy meal!

I went on a Saturday night and there was a lot of space inside. Our drinks came out quick and tasted good. Price was also very good, especially for the size of drink that you get! I recommend this restaurant for sure!

The location was quite difficult to find unless you live around the dorm or studying at UBC. It was at the rear area next to Subway and the direction was quite confusing for us. Anyways, the drinks weren't too exciting to begin with. It was a very slow day when we walked in. Menu was pretty basic. No brown sugar milk tea or fancy stuff like roasted milk tea or Thai milk tea, it's just the cheap powdered stuff mostly. We had UFO with pearls (Icecream coffee float $5.95) and Taro Slush with pearls ($6.10 and 60 cents for pearls) they were okay. My drink was okay, but the pearls didn't taste good. My friend didn't like her Taro Slush it tasted too chalky. She didn't like it. Price was too expensive for drinks. Pearls were extra charge. Service was average. The store was pretty slow and the staff wasn't friendly enough. My pal needed to use washroom, but the area was blocked so people don't use it.

Food: I came here 'cause I wanted something a little compact, to go and somewhat healthy on the way to a show at T-Bird and this was on the way. They blend too much ice in it thus my smoothie was watered down, especially for the price that they charged which seemed like a scam. I was super disappointed. A protein shake should not make me hungry this soon.

I thought a calorie dense smoothie would do the trick and decided to bite the bullet and spend 10 bucks for one at Liquid Nutrition, which is quite a steep price in comparison to other places in town (Whole Foods, Eternal Abundance, I could go on.) Granted the one's at LQ are larger, which could perhaps justify the price. The ingredients listed on their menu were encouraging. And I thought what the hell I deserve a treat! I chose a 400 cal, Haven on Earth smoothie advertising maca, cashews, dates, banana, and avocado and figured this would be tasty and keep me going through out the evening. Wrong! What a rip off. Watered down, flavourless, disappointing and actually quite angering considering the price. I was starving 1 hour into my class so you can imagine how my 45 minute bike commute home went after class. I don't know if I just had bad luck with the person making the drink. I will not be trying Liquid Nutrition again. I have to say too that the price is highway robbery, especially considering the location in a student union building.

Holy smokes, the Acai bowls here are massive. We were soooo full. If we ever come here again, we will just share one bowl with each other. Not sure that we will come here again though. The Acai bowls weren't bad but I've had better. I feel it could have been a bit sweeter. I was not impressed with my mom's Avocado Toast. I could see my mother struggling to cut her Avocado Toast so it seems the crust was quite hard. She ended up leaving a lot of the crust on her plate and just ate the middle of the bread. On the website I had seen Avocado Toast, sandwiches, wraps and Salmon Lox Bagel. I was quite dismayed to walk into this place and not see any of that stuff written on the menu. There was a small sign by the cashier that said to ask about Avocado Toast. I guess by the same token, I would have had to ask about Salmon Lox Bagel. Why make us ask about it? Why not just include it on the huge menu that was up on the wall? Might have made life easier when it came to ordering something for my mom who isn't into Acai bowls like us. This place seems to be somehow shared with Bean Around the World coffee shop which is right next door. There's no wall separating the two shops. You can walk from Anchor Eatery straight into the coffee shop next door. We ended up taking our food and drinks from Anchor Eatery and sitting next door at Bean Around the World coffee shop. Assumed it was allowed since there was no separation between the two shops and nobody tried to kick us out of the coffee shop.
