No brown sugar milk tea or fancy stuff like roasted milk tea or Thai milk tea, it's just the cheap powdered stuff mostly. We had UFO with pearls (Icecream coffee float $5.95) and Taro Slush with pearls ($6.10 and 60 cents for pearls) they were okay. My drink was okay, but the pearls didn't taste good. My friend didn't like her Taro Slush it tasted too chalky. She didn't like it. Price was too expensive for drinks. Pearls were extra charge. Service was average. The store was pretty slow and the staff wasn't friendly enough. My pal needed to use washroom, but the area was blocked so people don't use it.

I've had the taro latte before and keep coming back because I love it; I find the flavour so soothing. The vegan wrap was mainly filled with (I think) falafel or some sort of chickpea smash. I really enjoyed it and it felt very healthy and satisfying. The blueberry cheesecake was fine, but it was my least favourite out of the Trees cheesecakes I've tried. I liked the slightly fluffy texture of the maple walnut and coconut (don't think they still make this) cheesecakes better - this one was just dense and sweet and was a little lacking the tang that I like. I would want to try more to see if the blueberry is just not to my taste or if there's been an all-around drop in quality with the cheesecakes. The cafe is very spacious with a warm feeling. Lots of comfy seating inside, and some tables outside. There's nothing particularly notable about the patio but the new neighbourhood is pretty, so it was refreshing to sit outside in the fresh air. Super nice staff! I think the person who helped me was in training because there were a few things he wasn't sure about with the food, but someone else was right there to help.

Watered down, flavourless, disappointing and actually quite angering considering the price. I was starving 1 hour into my class so you can imagine how my 45 minute bike commute home went after class. This place seems to be somehow shared with Bean Around the World coffee shop which is right next door. There's no wall separating the two shops. You can walk from Anchor Eatery straight into the coffee shop next door. We ended up taking our food and drinks from Anchor Eatery and sitting next door at Bean Around the World coffee shop. Assumed it was allowed since there was no separation between the two shops and nobody tried to kick us out of the coffee shop.
