RACIST, VIOLENT BOUNCERS -- AVOID THIS CLUB A black friend of mine, as well as his younger sister and several others friends, were violently assaulted by the bouncers at this club. The bouncers told the members of my friend's group that it was a private party (a lie) and that they would have to pay 250 euro each to get in. Directly in front of them in the line, a group of four white men had just been admitted without the bouncers mentioning anything about a "private party" or checking to confirm that they were on the guest list, so it was blatantly obvious that the bouncers were lying about the existence of a private party in order to exclude the people of color in my friend's group. Naturally, the people in my friend's group were frustrated and exasperated by this, and told the bouncers that their decision was clearly racist. One member of my friend's group began filming the situation. The bouncers immediately responded with violence, putting this person in a chokehold -- he has asthma and literally could have died -- and hitting him. When my friend rushed over to try to stop the bouncers from choking his friend with asthma, he too was put in a chokehold, then thrown on the ground and kicked in the face and ribs while he lay there defenseless, trying to recover his breath. When his younger sister tried to intervene, she was pulled away by her hair, for many feet. The bouncers at this club are violent, racist animals. They're looking to hurt people. Even if you're white and don't think you'd have any troubles getting in, remember that the money you spend here goes directly into the pockets of these thugs. Don't go here. RACIST AND VIOLENT DO NOT GO! After a starting off the night bar hopping my friends decided that they might want to go to a club, so they attempted to spend their night and money here. Having tried to get in and refused before, they tried again thinking that when they had been before they were young and underdressed. However, that was not the case. When they tried to get in they were told they would not be allowed in without 250 euro cover charge. An absurd price, not demanded to their white friends. After moving to leave, upset by the clubs refusal to let them in. The security instigated a fight, resulting in my friends, (including young women) being punched, kicked choked and dragged by their hair. It was calculated and target at them simply because they are minorities. It was an act of blatant racism and hated against my friends because of the color of their skin. These thugs and bigots should be held accountable and their club should no longer exist. There are many places to party in Lisbon. DO NOT SPEND YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE! read more

Absolutely do not support this venue. A friend of mine was brutally assaulted by the bouncers clearly because of the color of his skin. He describes the experience: "I was choked then kicked multiple time in the head and ribs by four men with my little sister watching. When my sister tried to intervene she got pulled away by the hair and bruised. Two other male friends were attacked when filming the situation and confronting the assailant, and one female friend was handled violently. The assailants were the security of the club. We did not represent a threat to anybody, we were just seeking answers and we got our taste of the extent of racism and biases ingrained in our society.". Please do not visit this night club. The bouncers treat the patrons with racism. A good friend of mine - half black and half white - was recently kicked multiple times in the face and punched four times in the ribs by the bouncers after refusing to leave the nightclub, even though his white friends had been let in. This has occurred to patrons of color on multiple occasions. What is even more despicable is they violently handled his girlfriend and her best friend by dragging them by their hairs to prevent them from intervening. When my friends called out the bouncers for blatantly changing the entry-requirements for non-white people, the bouncers got violent: punching, choking, and dragging my friends (both men and women) out by their hair. When previously trying to patronize this racist scum hole he was told he had to pay $350 to get in. My friends experienced outright racism and even violence by just attempting to go out and have a fun night. Their night ended at this club where the bouncers at this club violently attacked them (including being violent against the young women in the group) simply because they stood up to the racism they were experiencing. Racist club and racist owner. Me and three of my other black friends were asked to pay $250 each at the door by the alleged boss. We had ticket vouchers for $16 each. When we showed them the voucher he said you still can't get in. Called me a motherfucker after i called him out for being racist while owning a bar with the word "urban" in it. One was knocked unconscious and put in a chokehold, several guys got black eyes, and one girl was hit in the face as the bouncer threw her phone in the ocean.
