I talked with the person working there, they are trying to be the pub for the neighborhood as well as the golf course. I did not eat any of the food, so not able to put in a review for that, but I will mention, they are going to be open even when the golf club is not. So great options if you are in this neighborhood. They do have a rental area for parties, I have seen weddings and graduation parties here. It is lovely inside with lots of windows and looking out over the golf course. Back to the golf, I love that the golf carts keep your score and can email it out to you. It is also convenient to see everything at once. There are areas where the fairways are narrow and balls are flying, so you do need to be a little more cognizant of play! There is a ranger to keep things moving at the start. We were there early in the year, but I believe they have beer runners as well! There is a driving range next to the clubhouse. Parking is easy. Coming around to hole 10, easy to get to the restroom and get lunch at the Par 5 Pub. Friendly staff, clean carts. My only complaint is that they definitely slow the golf carts down a lot on downhills and bridges (kind of funny how slow). Overall, very recommended. Had a great Mother's Day at Brookshire. Thank you for the clean restrooms, ease of access, friendliness, and the open pub to get drinks (THEY HAVE SPLITS OF PROSECCO, MADE MIMOSAS ON THE COURSE).

We annually get golf reservations for Father's Day as a round of golf is a perfect gift and a great way to get some fresh air. But, I think the guys like the beer cart that delivers beer while out on the course. Anyway, there is a nice facility/club house that hosts weddings and other events, has a pro shop and a snack bar downstairs. The pro shop and snack bar are open to the public as well. Recently, the facility hosted area residents for the 2024 Eclipse viewing. Guests could sit on their lovely patio or bring chair to sit in the grass. The snack bar has a limited menu of sandwiches and fries which are prepared fresh. The staff is super friendly and banters with the regulars. There are tv monitors in the eating area and about six tables. You can also take your food outside and eat on the patio and watch the golfers. I had the chicken club wrap which is served warm and is very good. the sandwich was filled with bite-size pieces of chicken, tomatoes and lots of onions. I like onions but if you don't you may want them to hold the onions. The fries are ok. Very hot, but not crispy as I like. The fries are over salted for my taste. The burgers are good served with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles. The kids enjoyed their hot dogs. They have a good selection of beer and the prices are really reasonable. This is a great facility that many people do not know is open to the public.

I split the Mango Salmon and Hoosier Hot Plate (beer-battered and deep-fried custom cut pork tenderloin w/peppered gravy) with my brother, and both dishes were excellent, with the fish being very tender and juicy, the tenderloin being the best I have ever tried in the entire state of Indiana. Always enjoyed it…read more I do realize that P.V. has changed ownership and management companies a couple of times in the more recent past......and so I looked forward to playing there again with two friends from out of town. Deal was good, times were good, carts were good and the ProShop people were more than adequate. Due to recent rains course was Cart path only, which was surprising since course got hit by rain 2 days before i played. Cart path only always stinks for a 70 year old, but hey, i still love to play. What WAS surprising and in a negative way was that several (like more than 1/3) saw the greens in terrible shape and in 1/2 of the cases, the teeboxes look like they hadn't been tended to in a couple of years. That part of the round was totally terrible...and disappointing candidly.

A solid course, and it's free!…read more A 27-hole course. The first 7 or so are in an open field style of layout, the next 11 or so are in the woods, and the final holes are more challenging. Each hole has two options for red = amateur and blue = more challenging. Each of the holes is about a 3 par. This was one of the "easier" courses I've experienced in my 1 year experience of the sport. The holes are much shorter than most others. Doesn't make it any easier though! Note that this is managed by the church. You park behind the church to access the course. Biblical verses are on each of the holes signage.

A large sign at the back offers a map. The first 9 are pretty open, mostly in a field, and great for beginners/warm up. Each hole has two starting spots, helpful if you have kids. The second 9 were so much fun! I think we will start there next time. Definitely in the woods, but not a ton of brush if you go off course. A few shots go along Fall Creek. The final 9 are more advanced, but we didn't make it that far. Each hole and basket is clearly marked and there are maps at the start of each hole to help you direct where to throw. It isn't always immediately obvious where the basket will be.

This park is mainly a series of softball fields east of Fishers. There are lots of fields and a…read morecentrally located playground and concession area. If you go on a day when there isn't a game, the parking looks endless along the main road that runs through the park. However, if you think about how many kids are involved in a single game and how many parents drive to watch them, you can see forty spots (probably more) for each field being used. With multiple games occurring at a time and with the "nose in" style parking, finding a place, dodging pedestrians who are carrying stadium seats and coolers, well, you can imagine it's tough finding a spot and tough backing out. Parking at the nearby school is an option, but carrying lots of equipment, back supports, and other items can get heavy. Review #2716

The fields and dugout are well maintained and there are several batting cages you can use. Additionally there is an out building and playground. But oy parking...what a mess. In ball season...if you want to park near the fields forget it. It is a complete clusterbomb of cars wherever. Seriously bad planning on the part of the parks department. Presumably you can park at the high school and walk (maybe that was the intent?) but they rope off the soccer field just north and it's a bit of a hike. And I didn't see anyone walking from there...they were just trying to get situated closer to the fields. All in all...a nice entry to the parks department that is IMO packed in an area way too small for intended use.
