Updated review (8/31): So I love this place. It's in a perfect location. The two courses are a nice balance in difficulty. The challenge I have is that the courses have not been well maintained. The fountains were off, and the turf has seen better days. For what is charged, it seems like more investment in the facilities is lacking. read more

Took my 3.5 year old here at 11:20AM on a Saturday. We paid just under $18 to play 1 of the 2 18-hole courses. There were only a few other people out, but it was chilly! The course is well-maintained and clean. I like that the part you start at is turf so you have some freedom to choose your starting spot. Simple course with a few fun water challenges and extra holes. We had a good time! There were bathrooms right off the place you get your putters.. my kid didn't wanna go in because of the cobwebs so that's our only complaint. read more

Parking is on the lot, parallel on the street, or on the rocks around the courses. Inside includes an upstairs where an event was happening. There was a room that seemed to have another private event going on on the first floor. My group are in the general restaurant area of the first floor. I did not eat as the prices are high, but the guys like the flavors of their wraps and crispy fries. The booth to pay for mini golf and a snack shack are outside. There are 2 courses, and my group chose the one with the cave. A 18-hole game cost $9.75. Of course, 36-hole game would be a better value. Group rate is actaully for 10 people. We went on a pleasant Friday night. Other people were waiting their turns. So I guess it would be much longer to play 36 holes like I wanted. My course was very challenging like #13 (unlucky as many balls rolled back to the start) and fun. They could add more bricks so our ball would not go out the exit onto the concrete. Only one person got a hole-in-one. When a few balls fell in the water, the flow would filter out the ball back onto the green. One green had a decline moat in the green. Very interesting. It was extremely fun playing with a group who learned as we played, except for one guy who had to test (cheat) which was the better hole to aim for. I came in second place but over par. Oh, free corn hole set. We played. My team won. I was informed that they will close in November for the winter season. Next year, they plan to have a new parking lot across the street. Also, they plan to offer a monthly fee for unlimited golf. I had a great time even if I paid full price. I would like to play on the other course someday. read more

Cannot say just how much we LOVE BIRDIE'S!!! The food is good but the staff is GREAT! Gage, Bobbi, Madison, Shelby, Victoria, Margaret, Eric, and everyone else! Just fantastic! And that's why we are here so much!! read more

I have been dying to come to Birdie's Mini golf course to play some mini golf. This is a very challenging course! I was very impressed with the layout of the golf course. There are two golf courses, and they are both challenging and tough. The mini golf course is located behind Birdie's Grill House, and you can pay only $10 for 18 holes, $8 for a senior discount at the hostess stand. I love mini golf and I loved these courses because they were very challenging and I had a lot of fun. I was lucky enough to get a hole in one on the last hole, so that made me happy. Birdie's Miniature golf is fun for the whole family and great entertainment, and is a wonderful addition to Westfield. I hope this stays around for a long time. I will come back here again and again for mini golf! It is the best! read more

This was our second time here and we had a blast. We were able to take our 3 year old mini golfing for the first time. It has been fun for a date night or family fun. We ate at the restaurant before playing mini golf and our food was delicious. My mom said her garlic parm wings were "just ok" but I throughly enjoyed my bourbon bbq burger. It was large for me, so I only ate half of it. They had cute fall decor outside and at the front desk for fall. We will for sure be back. read more

My granddaughters had a blast at Birdies playing putt-putt golf, today. The course is lovely with nice landscaping and super clean. The staff is welcoming and friendly. Prices are reasonable - kids golf for under $7. Clubs and balls are included. The girls played the easier 18 hole course which was fun with the little obstacles and water traps. Music plays while you golf, so it felt festive. It was like being on vacation. It gets pretty hot out there around noon, so best to go in the evening. 18 holes takes about an hour to play. The course and facility are handicapped accessible with accessible parking available. I loved it and will be back. read more

The Mini golf was expensive. We then put our names in for a table for 3 - we were told it'd be a 15 minute wait. 45 minutes later we were finally seated. 15 minutes after that we finally got a waiter. They try, but the service is just incredibly slow. read more

Love meeting up with friends to play a fun game. There are two different 18 hole courses to choose from. Love that the holes are challenging! We had a great time. Next time I will be sure to come early so that I can try out the eatery and bar inside!! read more

Fantastic concept. Don't skip on sitting on the second floor for a nice view. Food is standard American fried, gluten-y fair but good. We were at Birdies for a charity event so we didn't order off menus. It was a buffet. Attentive staff. We did the mini putt putt course with the red flags. It was nicely laid out and had neat features. Warning: toddler will want to climb on everything and try to jump into the many water features. Bring your A game if you have very little kiddos like us. Parking here is.... an issue. For sure not enough marked parking but you can park in the gravel lot behind the building and walk back. When my kids are older I will glady send them on their way to play a round of mini golf while I have a snack on the upstairs patio. Will be back soon. read more

What a fun place!!! I'm not usually one for mini golf (because I'm not awesome at it), but this was a super fun experience. We went around 9:30 pm for a double date. It was pretty busy but we still felt like we have space and weren't rushed to get through the course. It felt a little more grown up with the drinks and the difficulty of the holes so it made for a great date night spot. We didn't eat there but we're able to grab a couple drinks to take with us. We will definitely be back in the future! read more

Such a fun spot!! Mini golf, sports bar, full service restaurant. Fire pits and ice cream available seasonally. Have been here for work events and for a date night and both were great. Good is great, and the mini golf courses are very well kept. Got the pulled pork nachos, sliders sweet potato fries and chili. Loved all of it. The cheese on the nachos could have been cooked better, but were still great. Sliders were perfect size. Wait staff was attentive and kind. All positive experiences so far, definitely will be back! read more

Above average bar food and its come super fast for large parties. I'd come here again during a tournament.

This place offers two mini golf courses, a sports bar, a restaurant, an outdoor bar, and a rooftop deck. So fun! We arrived, paid for a game, grabbed a beer, and had a good time playing the course. We went on a Sunday night, as I heard it's been crowded this summer. We had people playing both in front of us and behind us, but never had to wait too long. Each course has 18 holes and we chose the course with the least amount of people playing. There are a few water elements, trick holes, etc. Our only advice would be to surround each mini golf hole with bricks. They had a few feet open on each side for a walking path, but the balls often rolled out, so many people were hunting for balls. The restaurant looked bumping and I heard that the food is good. I loved that they sold local beers and their hummus plate sounded great. The indoor bar/restaurant had tons of TVs playing sports. We'll be back! read more

This place is fun. We played the red course which is more challenging than the blue and enjoyed ourselves. My wife had 1 hole in one and I had 2. There are some creative and well thought out holes which others are just and up hill or down hill. The only reason this isn't 5 stars is because the creativity seemed to die off towards the end and the holes felt repetitive. For $9 for 18 holes, this place is definitely worth the price for the entertainment. Update: We went back the next day and played the blue course. I found it more challenging, only getting 1 hole in one and 2 holes in six. read more

OMG what a great place. We loved the course. For 3 of us to play 18 holes was $27. You can also play 36 if you wish. The course is pretty and the different elevations and rock they use are fun and creative. They have lots of outdoor seating and fire pits. After playing we turned on a fire pit, ordered some delicious bourbon and lemonade slushies and some pina coladas from the outside bar. The. Attendees were very helpful and service was excellent as were the drinks. Very relaxing. There is also a restaurant however we did not check that out. We will definitely be returning for golf and drinks and maybe some snacks. :) read more

Today we visited Birdie's in Westfield for our son's 8th birthday! We paid for 2 party packages which came with pizzas, birthday cakes, & drinks! We were given wrist bands for everyone that wanted to golf & we were able to golf as much as we wanted during our 2 hour time frame. Our server Taylor was so kind. She checked in with us consistently & got everything we requested. I seriously did not expect our experience to be this great, but we are so glad it was. We plan on coming back soon! It is a great place to bring your family, have a date, or even just meet with friends. read more

Miniature golf!!!! One of the best past times for a beautiful weekend day. First off parking is a little tight so you may run i to trouble trying to find a spot. To get to just miniature golf you'll go to the back of the building on the left hand side, the main entrance is just for the restaurant. My family and I did one game and pricing wasn't too bad. We gotta pick our ball color then could pick 1 of two courses. It was a ton of fun, the only problem we ran into was one randomly family decided to stop playing mid game and get more beer so where we had been spaced out nicely they randomly cut back and then caused a huge traffic jam due to a beer run. But it was still fun, you can choose to play 1 game or two and can also go back and buy another. The course is just go at your own speed so you may have to wait on others but be patient and just have fun. read more

Golf course was decent. Given the lack of shade, there should be umbrellas. The water that allows one of the holes to function was not working, but overall, the course is nice and well maintained. It was irritating that there were groups of 15+ people, and no employees asked them to split into more manageable groups, causing significant delays and back ups. If you are thinking of eating there..... don't. The food was subpar at best. McDonalds serves a better burger. read more

I went here with a bigger group. The drink service was fairly slow, but the food service and quality was so fast and impressive. I was surprised with the memphis hot chicken sandwich. The dry rub on the chicken had a lot of unique flavor. if you don't like spicy food get the honey on the side and use it as a dipping sauce. The spice is in the honey so you can prevent the dish from being overly spicy that way. The OG chicken sandwich was fine. Just a basic chicken sandwich. I liked the crispy chicken, but the bun to chicken ratio was a little off. Lotta bun. I would have also preferred some dill pickles and a unique sauce selection. We did really like the fries! I got the truffle fries and thought they were yummy. It was nice to have some flavor since my sandwich was a little plain. My friend got the steak salad and it was massive, another friend got the half chicken and it was a lot of food for the price! Pretty good beer selection but a large percentage of the kegs were tapped.. they had enough options and cans/bottles so I was able to find something else. I didn't mini golf but it looked super packed until about 8 pm when the families started leaving. Lots of people on the course standing around- I'd suggest grabbing a beer, sunscreen, and some patience before tackling the course. I thought the huge rock waterfall looked cool- you can tell they put a lot of effort into the scenery. Overall was pleasantly surprised with the food and the server was really nice. I'd recommend checking it out if you're looking for a Saturday activity. read more

SUCH A FUN PLACE!! Came on a Saturday and it was slammed (cars on the grass and in the street)- originally we thought there would be a big wait but walked right on. AND there are two courses to choose from. It was a fun activity that was also challenging for three adults. The kids around us were definitely struggling but also didn't car because they didn't take it seriously. I would definitely recommend coming here and don't get turned away by how crowded it is! read more

my husband and I had a ton of fun here! the pulled pork was amazing & drinks too! Was a little on the pricier side of things but was worth it for a good date night. they have 2 courses outdoors & you can take your drinks onto the course. read more

Stopped in on a Saturday mid afternoon for mini golf. Mini golf is located around the back of the building. Pricing was good, but getting the 36 holes option is definitely better! We weren't sure if we were going to play a second game, so that was a missed opportunity on our part. The course was fun! More of a golf course feel vs the clown mouths of the 80's! It was busy, but everyone was patient and respectful of those in front of them. Stop by the outdoor snack bar for a beverage to take with you! We decided to pop in for food after our game. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. Things took a little bit, but again a busy Saturday and close to Grand Park so lots of sports teams as patrons. We ordered the Asian chicken salad and hot chicken sandwich. Our order was dropped off VERY quickly by the runner and we realized my husbands order was incorrect. Here is the reason for 3 stars. Our waitress asked if he had touched anything on the plate, he had not. So she took it back to the kitchen to confirm which table it should have gone to and took it to that table. We didn't feel great that an order that went to one table, went to another after 10min on the word that someone hadn't touched it. While we knew we had not touched the plate, couldn't say for sure if someone else would have done the same. We'll definitely be back for mini golf but we'll likely skip grabbing a bite to eat. read more

CRAZY busy! Parking wrapped all around the building on a nice Saturday in the summer. Wait times of hours to eat inside the restaurant. Fun course but even if you don't have a wait to start playing, there's still so much waiting in between holes, especially if your group is only 2 people and you have to wait on multiple groups of 4-5 people ahead of you each play. Felt playing time really dragged. Would also love drink stands at each hole so I'm not trying to figure out where to put my stuff. Would like to try another time when it's not so busy. read more

So, this review is more about the restaurant than the miniature golf: Overall, I was pleased with the experience and I'll be back. The food is essentially what you'd expect; they have a lot of 'bar food' that will appeal to the type of clientele that comes here. Birdie's is situated very close to the Grand Park sports complex in Westfield, and that's the primary crowd that comes here - in the summer at least. Food quality was average/acceptable, and service has always been fine each time I've been here. My kids have all aged-out of sports, so the main draw for me is the proximity to my home. But, if you're looking for a crowd-pleasing place to take the kids and/or family for a fun time, you'll love it here. read more

Birdies is very new as of this review, but so far, so good. The mini golf courses are very clean and well thought-out (and fun), and it's in an awesome location in an up-and-coming area of Westfield by Grand Park. My kids had a great time! You can choose from 18 holes or 36 holes. We chose 18, but we should have chosen 36 because our game went by really fast. There are two courses to choose from. Each course has interesting things going on with it. In our course, we got to go through a "cave" under a waterfall. There are little water traps everywhere, so Birdies has nets set up so you can retrieve your balls. I think my kids enjoyed fishing out the balls more than golfing, but that's kids for you. They sell snacks here, like chips and candy and ice cream. They are currently under construction and building a structure adjacent to the golf course, which will be a restaurant, apparently. Im looking forward to visiting once it's done! read more

We visited for mini golf and an early dinner. The golf course was so well set up, it was a Saturday night and we didn't have to wait and it flowed well. The food is solid, above average bar food. Multiple people in our party enjoyed sliders especially. Good beer and specialty liquor drinks. My family would definitely go back ! read more

Fun place for some put put golf! There's not many places in central Indy to put put so this was a great addition to Westfield! We had drinks and ordered pretzel bites and they were all super good! Put put id naturally social distanced so we didn't run into any issues there. Will definitely be back and hope their service for their rooftop bar gets a little better! read more

Since moving to the area, I had not had the chance to do any mini golfing until last night. I checked out Birdies with my partner (midweek) and was pleasantly surprised! Birdies offers 2 course options and you can do 18 holes for $9 or 36 holes for $14, which I think is an awesome price for what you get. Since it was midweek, we did not have to wait at any holes and were able to go our own pace. It was still busier than I would expect for midweek, so I would assume it can get relatively busy on the weekends. The only negative I see about the courses offered is that it felt like all of the holes were relatively easy, which is good for a family-friendly establishment but felt like it didn't offer much for a couple looking for a slight challenge. read more

Great spot to bring kids and dine. I had the blackened chicken, friends had the burgers, pineapple skewers all were delicious. We were not allowed to make a reservation. Then when we tried to get a table we were told it would be a 45 minute wait plus we could not bring in a cake from a bakery unless the ingredients were listed on the box ( I do not know of any bakeries that do that). We were told we could eat the cake in our car. The lady at the hostess stand was not friendly at all. Very dissapointing as it was my daughter's 16th birthday. We just left and went to a really nice Mexican restaurant in town and celebrated there. Definitely won't be back. read more

Not a bad Sunday afternoon spent for an outdoor Covid party for kids. It really helped being all outdoors, kid friendly, and served cocktails. The bar wasn't quite open, or perhaps it was the restaurant that hadn't quite opened, but it was fun. Choice of red or blue course, we opted for the smaller course since we had 6 year olds and it was just enough to give the activity. I walked upstairs to the open bar and ordered 4 drinks, they had me take a tray and wasn't allowed to take glass, which is important when kids are involved. read more
