However, after we checked in, we quickly realized that one of the windows' latch was broken and being on the 16th floor with rain and temperatures in the 40's, we could not use one of the rooms at all. I emailed the Ur hip and they said that it would fixed shortly and they would send someone up. After a few hours with no maintenance personnel in sight, I emailed them again. We were reassured that someone will be up. The manager of the apartment complex came and took pictures and said it was definitely broken and left. We had a 7 night stay and the window never got fixed; in fact I was given a step by step tutorial in one of the emails 'how to close a window' which as quite insulting since I felt that our request was not taken seriously. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment and could not use the second room at all and had to sleep in the living room. Urhip was emailed constantly and we were constantly ignored. We were never reimbursed. I am now waiting to at least receive my deposit back from this shady company. Truly disappointing experience.

I recently stayed at the 1955 Locust St location in room 2F for a work trip…read more Staff: The day before my arrival I got an email with entry instructions for the front door and then to get into my room then later in the day I received a phone call to make sure I got the email and they wanted to make sure I didn't have any questions. I also received text alerts with info. They communicated with me via text several times throughout my stay to make sure everything was to my liking. I also coordinated with them via text about trying to store my bag for several hours before my 5pm flight out. They kindly offered for me to store my bag at their offices that weren't very far away; however, I ended up storing it at the UPENN lab while I went to the museum, etc. I didn't have any issues but my impression was that they cared about my stay and wanted to make sure everything was going good for me. Room: I stayed in 2F so had to walk up 1 flight to get to my room. Everything was very clean and I felt it was roomy in the three spaces: bathroom, bedroom, living space/kitchen combo. Decor was fine. Bed was very comfortable. My only gripe about the room was that when the heat would come on it would blow air against the opposite wall and would jingle a decorative lamp that had wind chime like things hanging from it. I had to lay a shirt over it to mute this. I didn't want to relocate it. Other than that I slept very well once that was solved. Internet was solid, as well. Location: I love staying in Rittenhouse so I knew the location would be good. Ultimo Coffee across the street has amazing espresso and the croissant was also delicious. There were plenty of neat places to eat nearby. There was snow on the ground so Rittenhouse Sq was especially beautiful. I didn't notice any loud people at night. It is just fun enough of an area to have lots of options at night but not so bad that you have to deal with woo girls outside while you are trying to catch some zzz's. Verdict: I'll be back.

From the beginning, the communication with their customer service was great- the rep (Charm) answered my questions and offered me tips/ insight during my stay. I was emailed the door lock codes & consistently received text messages checking in with me about needs/ or concerns throughout my stay. Here's the down low: Location- I stayed at 1955 Locust location- directly across from 7-11 and a cute coffee house (Ultimo Coffee) with the best coffee I've ever had (this alone is a big plus). The place itself is nicely decorated with a welcoming feel..bathroom, washer & dryer (one detergent sample provided), full kitchen with a fridge, oven & stove, plates and utensils provided. The bed was comfy & the bedroom was the perfect size. There were two large tv's- one in the bedroom and one in the living room- with Netflix and prime included. The apartment was very clean - spotless in fact, nice & quiet. One of the bulbs in the bathroom was out during my stay & my last night there, the two remotes for the tv in the living room stopped working (a little annoying but not a deal breaker for me). I think this is great service for a great price. I would recommend to anyone staying for a few days & I will most definitely return!

The…read morestudio suite room was spacious with a 1/2 fridge, dishwasher, microwave and sink plus an assortment of dishes. It was great for leftovers and enabled me to eat frequently, since I'm trying very hard to maintain my weight. Parking is on site but... our rental car was too tall to handle the 6'3" height limit. No problem, there are other lots in the area and I like to walk anyway. To Hilton's credit, they mention this on the hotel web site. What stood out was the cleanliness and the service. All was clean and ready for us. Plus, Rahkya behind the desk was very gracious and helpful. Gus the bellman was personable and helpful. Shawnette and Aaron in the breakfast buffet were friendly and helpful. Everyone we interacted with, including the staff at the onsite restaurant were friendly and professional. I wish I could say the same about Philly drivers. I've been driving around a lot and that hasn't been much fun. Almost nobody makes eye contact or makes room. I've seen worse in other cities but bring your A game if you plan to drive here, in these small historic streets. Life is good with a comfortable stay using points.

I want to be clear that this review is for the Doubletree Parking on Broad St…read more Had reason to park there recently while attending the ballet followed by dinner. We were a party of 4 in two separate cars: one party paid for parking in advance as a 'ticket and parking' package. The other did not. We arrived about 11:30 am for a Sat matinee. Lot was rather full, but more, the spaces were very narrow, which seems to be the case more often. There are only two elevators, and they also are exceedingly small, holding 5-6 adults max-which is an issue when the shows end and everyone is queued up to leave. Our biggest issue was discovering that the prepaid parking expired at 4 pm. Since we were staying for a post ballet dinner, we asked and were told that we would simply need to pay for the 1 hour difference. If only it had been simple; but no. Besides the fact that the booth attendant had a friend inside chatting to the point that we needed to honk to get attended, the attendant had no idea what to do with a prepaid ticket holder who was attempting to leave past the allotted time. Their default was charge us $30 (the rate charged the car without the prepay), making it $30 for one hour. We declined to pay that as that was not the posted hourly rate...and had to sit for more than 15 min and only due to the exceedingly long trail of cars queued behind us did the attendant finally charge the posted hourly rate and allowed us to leave. Provide better training on what-if" scenarios, extend the parking package hours from 4 to 5 to accommodate meals. Do better.
