First of all, we loved 50 Commercial Street. The owner of Style Vacation Homes is also an interior designer. We heard that he assisted the homeowner in completing the look and functionality of the home. The result was not only beautiful, it was extremely practical. The home was completely stocked with everything we needed, and the layout was perfect. We had a family gathering for Thanksgiving, and we found the kitchen to be stocked with everything we needed and more. The staff at Style checked in on us the day after we arrived to make sure everything was in order. There was a short power outage in town later that evening, and Louis from Style located some battery-powered LED lights for us, which we really appreciated. We have found other vacation home management companies to be uninvolved after payment was received, but that was not the case for the team at Style. They were very responsive from beginning to end, and even facilitated the return of our security deposit. I would use Style Vacation Homes again in a heartbeat. I have already recommended them highly to my friends.

Wow, what an absolutely awful experience. The home, at first glance, is beautiful. But as days went…read moreby, everything started to unravel. Large deliveries, pest control appearing unannounced, and verbal attacks and accusations from the homeowner. The pool/hot tub system is incredibly complex, and the homeowner was insulting and belittling when we didn't understand. When we called Style Vacation Homes for support, the woman we spoke with was incredibly unhelpful, rude and dismissive. For shelling out $10k+, you'd think that the host and Style would be a bit kinder and more accommodating. So disappointing.

If I could go back in time, would I pick Nicole as our realtor again? Yes. Yes. A million times…read moreYES. We just closed on our first house and cannot express how much we recommend using Nicole. At the beginning of our homebuying journey we had vetted a few realtors beforehand. Other realtors we spoke to programmed our wants/budget into their system and were just sending us automated e-mails of listings that fit those parameters (which felt like something we could have set up on our own...) We went with Nicole because we loved how personalized she made the process, she really does make you feel like you are her only client. We had a group text going where she would send us the listings that actually fit what we were looking for and it allowed us to keep an open conversation with her about all the questions we had as first time home buyers. A surprise bonus was that Nicole actually flips homes in her spare time and is extremely knowledgeable at what is required to make certain updates in the home so she was able to provide rough cost estimates (on adding an extra bath, new flooring, etc) which proved to be tremendously helpful as we started looking at fixer uppers. She made the process as smooth as could be, but there are always circumstances that are out of your control.... Which brings me to the grand finale of Nicole's awesomeness on closing day. During our walk-through just hours before closing we entered our soon-to-be home to find 70% of the seller's belongings were still there. Without skipping a beat Nicole took control of the situation and assured us we would get everything out in time for closing. In a pair of nice sandals and in the pouring rain, she helped us move out an entire house within hours. It certainly was a day to remember lol and it forever solidified Nicole's title in my book as #1 realtor of all time.

Beautiful to have but the sun will make the apartment very warm even when the air is cranked high. Also the dyer takes a very long time to dry, it steams your clothes instead. The beds are horrible, you will sink in the middle and not comfy. Not your average "hotel" stay. It has all the convenience of home like a full kitchen with pots, pans, utensils and even spices, cable, wifi and fully furnished. Will the manager was very helpful with checking in and making sure everything was fine. There's also a fitness room and a outdoor space for entertaining. Its in a great location with amazing restaurants and bars. Pet friendly place but no space for your fur babies to handle their business. I would stay there again.

They had a game night (trivia) when I was there and invited me to come. For the price compared to regular hotels, it was a no-brainer. Our family reunion vacation week for our mother's 80th Birthday at Tom and Mary Ann's house was…read morenothing short of fantastic! The weather was great..even with the complimentary downpour day to let the skin come off sizzle mode..just perfect. We were a large family group... family coming in from NY, NM, Ca and Germany. We pushed the limits in space but with the backyard patio area, rooftop hot tub soaking deck (special accolades to that), the ocean so close and so many places you could walk, bike, paddle to we never at all came to in your face situations... which we all know with family is usually inevitable. We wanted to do something special for our Mom (Omi) for her birthday so we took Mary Ann and Tom's referral and hired the caterer that they suggested... we did a luau theme and they came to the house with the pig roast complete with Hawaiian veges and salads. I for one was amazed that we actually surprised her but I do believe we really pulled it off. We were initially hesitant to rent because of landowners sharing the same house..but we started our search late and there weren't many options to accommodate our large group so we took the chance. Couldn't have been any farther from the fears we had to reality. Always friendly and helpful.. never intrusive or controlling. By the time we left it felt like we were leaving old friends.... the hot donuts Mary Ann brought us from an old time LBI donut shop, the morning before we left sealed the deal! Our family grew up summers in LBI..staying with friends that owned and/or our family renting for weeks at a time. I think I can speak for our family in saying we came home that week. A wonderful magical place in our memories. Lucky me got to share it with my granddaughter while my Mom (Omi) is still with us and oh so big a center of our family. 4 generations of LBI addicts.... what better place to enjoy family!
