LE sigh...I had hoped so much to have a good experience here and have a tasty buffet to go to when short on time and not wanting fast food. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. I started with 3 stars, in my head, but as the night continued on, dish after bland dish, I started to wonder if it merited even 3. The hot and sour soup has this seafood taste, randomly, and otherwise has an unidentifiable...several...mushrooms but not mushrooms?? in it. Beef with peppers was mushy and tasted like nothing. Completely nothing. Not salt, umami, sour, nothing. The cream cheese wontons are...okay, I have never had this issue before, but when I took one bite, all of the cream cheese squirted out the other side. Maybe they folded it wrong? In general, there were many stations that had empty food and many dishes were cold. What finally did it for me was when I went to grab a dish off of the stack, it was dirty. So I picked up another dish. Also dirty with dessert-frosting smeared on it. Another had crusted vegetables on it. GROSS. I will say that the service was great. Someone checked in on me at least twice to see if I needed anything and my water glass was always full. The place was kept clean (minus the dishes) and there is a lot of seating. Wish I would have seen the 2.9 rated review and gone with my gut to go elsewhere. read more

Interior is OK. Price is very reasonable at $15.75 dinner per person, but the food is just only OK. Hardly anything can be called delicious. For around $14 , you can get salmon,crispy pork belly, tasty fried shrimp,octopus salad .MOJO pork and some other delicious fusions food. The service was very good,our waitress always pick up the plates and refilled the drink. I will definitely come back. read more

For an all you can buffet this place is not bad at all. I just wish they had my favorite dish of all time which is salt and pepper shrimp. Their sushi variation is good! And the times I've gone there has not been a wait which has been weekdays for lunch! read more

For a buffet, this place is not bad at all. The service is great! Servers are very attentive, refreshments are refilled when needed, and empty plates are removed quickly. Every staff member I have encountered has been extremely friendly, too. The restaurant itself is very dated but gives off a retro 90s vibe and it's pretty clean and maintained. There is a nice variety of food and sushi and the quality is good for the price! I'm not a buffet kind of girl, but I don't mind eating here at all. Ok so first I want to say that I have been to this place endless amount of times and been coming here a few years but it's always been during the week . It's always been good except for now . I came in a weekend with the family and It was gross . Everything was cold and tasted off. Service was a mess as well. So this is why I'm taking some points . Uptown Buffet is your typical Japanese buffet. Very cheap too! We came for lunch and it was around $10 per person. They have sushi, hibachi, and desserts as well. Personally, I liked the food but I didn't eat from the hibachi section. Very wide selection of food(s). I like how they have a little bit of everything. From fried rice, to sushi, pizza, chicken, salmon, to even tostones. The only downside to this buffet is the plate size. The plates seemed very small compared to other buffets I've been to. I had to get two plates because I don't like stuffing one single plate. I would recommend coming here if you're in the area and want to eat a lot of food for a very cheap price. read more

Food was not good and the service was terrible. It's a buffet and nobody was serving us so we did not tip. I work at a restaurant job and if I'm not serving a table and don't check in I shouldn't expect a good tip or any tip at all. The lady proceeded to sit there and continuously ask for a tip despite being told there would be none. Pretty embarrassing on her end and the audacity was crazy to demand a tip when she wasn't even the one who sat us or gave us our waters. Which were the only two times we had any interaction with the workers. Would not recommend. read more

Me and my wife were on our way home from a day of shopping and we were between chipotle or trying something new. And this time I regretfully chose to try out a new place. Asian food is no stranger to me, im a line cook and at our restaurant we make Asian dishes as well, so I was shocked to find that this did not hit the spot by a long shot. The ambience was exactly what I expected, nothing too fancy. But let's talk about the food. It was horrifying to see how little interest there was in cleaning, everything just had this like "someone touched it before you" vibe. I get that's the point of a buffet but I wish I took a photo at how disorganized and in need of wipe down it all was. So this already didn't make me super enthusiastic about eating the food. And I'm no picky eater, but everything about the food just was so off. The only things that tasted good were the things you can tell they didn't even make by hand. The sushi was warm and losing temp, the tongs to pick up the sushi were disgustingly dirty. This is one of the ONLY occasions where I actually didn't feel like finishing any of the food, not even the ice cream was good because you had parents picking up kids and putting them on the counter where all the food was and the kids were coughing on the ice cream and I STILL ate it because I wanted to leave some kind of review. I threw up immediately after leaving this restaurant once I had post hunger clarity, this is definitely one of those places where they don't wash their hands after using the bathroom. The service let me tell you about the service they honestly don't care about your well being they only care about is the bill and apparently the MANDATORY TIP aside the fact the server doesn't pay you attention and will ask you for a tip and by any chance you don't tip her she will have fit and ignore you and storm off (even though we asked her if she can break a $50 bill and she ignored us ). If I could give this place zero stars I would!! While I was eating here with my mom I saw a cockroach walking around the table. It left me without an appetite as well as my mom. Above all the staff still made me pay and made jokes about it and how they've never had that happen. Upon reviewing my card statements I was charged 3 separate times for the same meal. If I can recommend one thing is stay far far away from this place or else you might have a cockroach on your table or plate. Totally renovated and under new management if I'm not mistaken. Hell, they're even doing Cajun seafood now. Totally random for this Chinese buffet but more power to them for offering a wide variety. Unfortunately their take out pricing is a little expensive and you practically end up paying the same for one carton of food versus eating at the restaurant for an unlimited amount of times. Compared to many other Chinese Buffett I was not impressed with this one. We came here for the sushi but when we got there, the rice for the sushi was mushy, it's like they used sticky rice rather than sushi rice, yuck. The ingredients for the sushi were nasty looking too. Nothing there looked appealing. The Buffett station looked so big from a distance but when you're up there getting food, you're like that's it? For the desserts, you can scoop your own ice cream.
