Still, the environments created around said turtles are whimsical, educational and awe-inspiring for the little 'uns. An extra star for free admission to YMCA members, and for the enjoyable outdoor space, which includes a chicken hutch, active gardens, stone circles for pagan worship (I kid, or do I?) and about a billion chipmunks. Seriously, it's like Alvin attained Beiber status and all the teen chips are swarming for an autograph. Excellent programming and festivals throughout the year - even a Corn Fest! - and, as mentioned, completely free for YMCA members. Solid way to knock out an hour or two if your spawn is being a terror. Or obsesses over turtles. Or both.

They have a cute story book trail for little ones and other ways to enjoy some easy jaunts through the woods. Free admission to YMCA members, we also love their annual events like Corn Fest every summer.

It starts out as a father's legacy, played by Peter S. Adams as Mr. Price of " Price and Sons shoe manufacturer ". His passing left the company and his legacy to his son Charlie Price, played by the talented Brandon Wong, struggling to come to grips what to do. From the moment KINKY BOOTS , it started, the whole theatre guests were receptive and riveted in their seats. Each ensemble cast member performed their part on point and with great ease. The main character appeared as an adult "LOLA", played by Gilbert Dabady, elevated the energy level of her character level to a new high! Totally enjoyed the performance! Very convincing! "LOLA", grabbed the audience attention and did not let it go and commanded the stage along with "Charlie Price", played by BRANDON WONG. His powerful voice and acting made for a very entertaining scene! IT WAS A HUGE TREAT TO WITNESS SUCH TALENT, Thank you! This Production of KINKY BOOTS, by DIRECTOR ZOE BRADFORD, has made a huge mark in the Theatre Industry and her Productions are LEGENDARY! Thank you for your devotion to the theatre and this Non-Profit Company to bring the Best Productions in the South Shore for its Community and beyond! Book by HARVEY FIESTEIN, Music & Lyrics by CINDY LAUPER! My last review is for the Talented Orchestra who tied the whole Production together under the DIRECTOR of Robert Mc Donough! THANK YOU ALL!, This Production of " KINKY BOOTS ", educated us all what Acceptance and Unity can do. Love it!

Only complaint was we bought tickets for 8:15 and did not get into the building till almost 9:45 then it was close to a half hour wait inside the building before getting to the course.

The still need a lot of help figuring out how to move people through this quickly. We arrived at 7:40 and got in our first line. No wait at the first line but the only thing that person does is hand you the waiver form and tell you to get into the next line. The 2nd line had about 40 people in front of us and only 1 person at the window helping people. This is the actual check-in line where you get your passes.Unfortunately this is also the same line that folks without tickets stand in. 20 minutes or more in this line and we finally got out passes to get into the event. Since we pre-booked for a specific time we got to skip the 3rd line (which had about 30 people in it) and get into the back of the 4th line. The 4th line is the longest and has the longest wait. You are also standing outside in the cold air the entire time.We finally got through the door and inside at 9:00 (1 hour and 20 minutes from when we arrived). When we got inside we were told to stand in a 5th line to wait for weapons training. Thankfully this was only a 10 minute wait. After weapons training and getting our weapon we were then standing in our 6th line in front of the final entrance door. Again, another 10 minute wait. In total it was 1 hour and 40 minutes of standing around doing nothing to go through a 20 minute mock Zombie Apocalypse arena. The actual event was a lot of fun and scary at times. I am glad I did it but I would never do it again knowing how much time I spent standing in lines. Until they get the long waits fixed I will not recommend this to friends.

Dalby Farm focuses on endangered domestic breeds, so they have some interesting goats, sheep, pigs, chickens, ducks, and geese. No cows though, my little guy was disappointed, but he loved the chicks and the goats. There are some exotic animals--chinchilla rabbits, golden pheasants, and peacocks. Open every Sunday from 11-3 from May-October, there is a small store that sells fresh eggs from the chickens, local honey, goat milk soap, as well as jewelry, t-shirts, gift baskets, and home decor. Group tours can be arranged, as well as birthday parties; the farm is open for smaller tours during events through the spring, summer, and fall.

My two toddlers went to the Pre-K Experience and had a great time with the crafts and the animals. However, for bathrooms the kids (ages 3-4) used porta-potties unassisted, which is incredibly dangerous (they could fall in, they had to climb up to use it, they couldn't reach the hand sanitizer, nobody helped them wipe). The director assured me that once they came out, an adult would put hand sanitizer on them. The Board of Health said this was not up to code but since they weren't officially a "camp," they didn't violate any laws. However, this also means that the people that work there may not have CORI checks, immunizations are not asked for from other kids, etc. This may not be a big deal to some people (and the farm is very cute), but they were dealbreakers for me.
