Once parked we walked around to the front to order. Service was nice and patient. We sat at the outside tables to enjoy our sweet treats. I got the Italian ice. It was the creamiest Italian ice I've ever had, but the lemon flavor was phenomenal. I ate half and put the rest in the freezer over night. I finished the rest the next day and it was great, texture and flavor wise.

That's all I needed was to find more amazing ice cream in Michigan that I can't take home with me. I'm also never in Ann Arbor so that doesn't help I tried fresh basil ice cream. It was drizzled with lemon olive oil. The most amazing and unique flavors. They have butterfly moon, not blue moon. While blue moon tastes like fruity pebbles, butterfly moon tastes exactly like froot loops and is even the color the milk turns when you have a bowl. Service was friendly and didn't mind us trying lots of samples. How can you not when they're all so amazing and unique !!

I also got the double dark chocolate, which was decent but a little more lackluster than I expected. They have a huge variety of flavors though and it definitely feels like the kind of place you need to come back to multiple times to really explore the menu. Every time I walk by there's basically a line around the block, so clearly people love it. Thankfully when I actually went, the service moved pretty quickly. Definitely somewhere I'd come back to try more flavors.

The ice cream is good and the location is nice, but compared to other spots in Ann Arbor, I usually find the pricing and wait times a little harder to justify for ice cream that doesn't stand out as much to me. It all comes down to the quality of the product and I was hoping for something more consistent with gelato and what I got was soft serve ice cream. That would've been OK if it weren't for the fact that the chocolate and vanilla swirl that was in my cup included vanilla that was frozen solid almost like eating icy freezer burn. I brought this to the attention of the young man behind the counter and he just said I'm sorry and shrugged his shoulders. I remove stars because of the poor quality mentioned above. As far as indoors it is nice and bright and clean. I added a couple of stars for this. As for service, it took approximately 10 minutes to receive my order. In fairness there was a group of four or five people in front of me who were taking their time. Given the numerous options for ice cream treats around Plymouth Livonia and Northville it's very unlikely I'll come back here .
