I've worked with a lot of tradespeople, and my biggest issue has rarely been the quality of the work itself. It's been reliability and communication. People who don't show up, don't return calls, or vanish partway through a job.
Alvin is the exception. He's hands down the most reliable electrician I've hired.
Every day he said he'd be there, he was. On time, or slightly early. The job turned out to be harder than I think he expected going in, but he kept coming back and kept working until it was finished. He stuck to his original quote even when the work ran longer than planned.
He was willing to learn and adapt as the job got complicated, and he was straightforward with me throughout. That kind of honesty and integrity sadly feels rare these days.
I'm happy with the work he did. But the bigger thing for me is trust. If Alvin takes on a job, I know he'll show up and see it through to the end. read more
