I've been having an issue with EVERY single delivery I've had managed by UPS for the last month and a half. I run a small business and constantly get packages. The drivers @ this location are so negligent and careless. Packages get dropped off at the USPS and then back to this location for weeks on end at times. I'm not sure why the other reviews are so negative. I was initially afraid of coming to this location and instead took my business to the UPS on merrick. However, out of convenience, it's next to Stop & Shop, we came here. Since we usually drop off our items, it's a quick transaction. We do everything we have to at home, print out shipping labels, tape it up.. Why do it at UPS. There usually is no line, but it doesn't take very long either. This is the actual UPS company store, there's usually just one person working there in the front and he's always been courteous. UPS is a horrible company. I took off work and waited all day for a mattress delivery on June 26, 2019. At 8pm I tracked it on their website and saw a notification saying "Sorry, we won't be making you delivery today. Check back in a few days." The next day I check "NOTHING" It's now Friday, I check the website again. "Your package is out for delivery at 8:14 AM. I wait ALL DAY UNTIL 5pm. I took another day of work, and planned to go in later that evening Of course it didnt come. I had to go to work. I checked the website again and saw they "Attempted delivery" while I was out. I called customer service and they were very dismissive and unfeeling "There's nothing we can do. We will attempt a another delivery next business day on Monday " But I have to go to work, and I'm not going to take another day off. I offered to pick it up. But There are no service centers open on weekends. I then asked if I could specify a smaller window of time, and was told that they can't do that. I spoke to 4 different reps and they all were useless. I then asked to speak with a supervisor and was mysteriously disconnected. How this company has stayed in business for so long is confusing. I have cameras surrounding my house that proves that at the time the delivery was marked, a UPS truck did not even stop in front of my house. Lately every delivery service has been awful, but UPS and their customer service tops it off. This is the 2nd time I didn't receive my package and went completely out of my way to pick up at their care center only to be told it can't be given to me because it's in a part of the building they don't have access to. If it's INSIDE of the building, there should be a way to contact someone in that department to retrieve the package especially if the package has been sitting there all day long. Customer service has never been an issue with me. Store empty when I pulled up. Then 4 customers showed up at the same time. Great organisation, another team member came out to assist. I was able to use the tape to seal box and add label I printed. USPS makes you buy tape so that was a plus for me. In and out less than 5 minutes. read more

I've had several problems with this UPS. From packages that were marked as "delievered" when they never were, to packages that were marked as out for delivery, but never delivered because, according to UPS, they were "lost." Wooow so many folks are saying their package is missing! VERY interesting because this also happened to me i am now a victim of my package being missing not only that but went to the WRONG address! Now my address is clear as day you can read it very well. And the fact the address they sent it to has a gate and everything so for this UPS driver to do all that work and not pay attention is highly to unbelieveable. I even asked my neighbor if they seen a package they said no and noone left anything to their door. Now the tracking does say driver left it at front door. But no indication of it being signed or anything. I had to contact the online store i made a purchase from and they made me do a police report. So now this is also in the police file. Came to pick up a package because UPS delivery people are not even knocking on doors anymore! They want to leave your package at an unknown business and are too lazy to notify you. This is by far the worse experience I've had with UPS I don't understand what is going on with this service it's very unfortunate. Then they give you the option to come to the UPS Center in Cajaro land Queens and pick up your package I've been here since 7pm and I still don't have my package more than 2.5 hours waiting. I don't think it's necessarily this store it's just the UPS call center and system that needs more organization and more customer service training. The guys at this store are not uneducated I think it's the service itself. I asked if this package was coming from China because it's too much already. If you buy a phone from your mobile service provider, be aware!!! Calling ups is not enough. The best thing to do is to manage and hold your package at your nearest ups service point (not this location!!! choose somewhere else) and go pick it up later on. That's the only safe way to get it. Days can become weeks if you dont do so. Their office hours aren't convinient and the drivers are liers. I would give this place negative five stars if I could. My family and I have had so many issues with this UPS and the pandemic has only made it worse. I called three times about a package that was suppose to be delivered yesterday and never arrived even though it was on the truck and I tracked it while I watched it pass my house. Ridiculous. Two different UPS trucks showed up to my house today. One had a package that was suppose to be delivered two weeks ago where we already got a refund and the box is completely destroyed. I asked the driver where my other packages were and he said they're coming on another truck (completely inefficient). The second driver came and he delivered two boxes that were suppose to be delivered yesterday (were on the truck out for delivery and never arrived) and I asked the driver about my package that I've called about several times that should be arriving and he said "My truck is a mess I'll come back later". I called and complained to customer service who did nothing and when I told him my tracking app wasn't working so I think they lost my package he was like no ma'am I don't know where you're getting this information but I can call a tech person to try and help. I know the technology isn't the issue its the incompetence. I hate this place and dread ordering online only to deal with these incompetent people because its always an event.
