I waited at the lobby of my office building for 3 days (9 hours each day) waiting for my package only to have the window of time change from 10:15am-2:15pm to 7:00pm-11:00pm. My amazon order has specific instructions on times and days for deliver and instructions to call my number to be let in to the building. Because Amazon passes the responsibility to UPS. I've spoken to over 10 Amazon and UPS "support" people who keep saying "I'm sorry" but we can't do anything. This is outrageous. read more

I accidentally put the wrong address on my mom's Christmas gift. It was an address that didn't exist. I got a message that it was undeliverable on Friday. By Monday someone at this UPS center had figured out what was the correct address and delivered it Monday night. This was a pricey personalized gift. This location has the worst delivery drivers. I have put in so many complaints and there haven't been no changed behavior or reimbursements for paying extra fees for 1 day deliveries. The drivers will come all the way to your door just to leave a sticker instead of your package. I'm always home and watched them do it. Three times I had to chase the driver down or call. It's insane at this point. If I could pick the carrier for my packages, I promise you it wouldn't be UPS. read more

Kim from the dispatch center is extremely rude and RACIST! I received a call from this center in reference to a package. I tried to share with Kim what the call center told me about my package. Instead of listening she talked over me, when I shared with her this was frustrating because I got conflicting information from the Sparks center and the call center she stated that "no one in the call center knows what they're talking about because they're all in China." A This statement was extremely inappropriate and racist!! After her racist statement she hung up on me. Place is absolute TRASH. Both the drivers and people at the front desk. I really hate when my amazon packages come to UPS. The drivers either deliver the wrong location, or they don't knock and leave you a note saying 'sorry we missed you'. No you didn't "miss me" you lazy piece of crap driver. You didn't knock and didn't want to bother bringing heavy boxes up the stairs. The people at the front counter are no better. When you have a package that you desperately need and it's on one of the UPS trucks, they will lie and say that they there is 'no way of contacting them'. Obviously there is a way they can contact their own employees who are on the clock and working. Total BS. It seems that UPS seems to always deliver "signature required" packages when nobody is home so occasional trips to the UPS customer center are sometimes inevitable. Given that hassle, the staff are actually friendly and efficient and I am usually in and out in just a few minutes (take that, U.S. Postal Service). read more

Rude, and the drivers here are stupid. If some one has a door bell they refuse to use it. The manager at this center claims it company policy not to use door bells as the "never" work. So the drivers softly knock and don't use the door bell, how the heck am I to hear knocking when I am teleworking in the back room. Am I to take the day off of work when a package is coming just because they are to stupid to even try the door bell if knocking does not get a response. Then they take it to an inconvenient "access point" that is a pain in the in the but to go to. I wish Amazon would not use UPS, as it a bad shipping company. read more

A few years ago I ordered a watch that did not arrive. UPS came out and started giving me shit, pulled up an iPad image which proved they delivered the box next door. They said they never saw it. I can't prove it, but I think they are porch pirates. We lost a lot of stuff for a time. UPS started requiring we get everything face-to-face and have not lost any packages since. Our normal driver used to be kind of a dick, but he's great now. Even rings dig treats. We never complained about any drivers because they can only deliver what is on the truck. I have to admit, office personnel could improve in a few areas. read more

I'd give less than 1 star if I could. Christmas present was to be delivered on 12/14. An "weather event" prevented this (1/2" snow). Then the UPS tracking site said Saturday. Then Monday. When it didn't show up, I called customer service and "Tyler" told me there had been a physical scan of the package and it WOULD be there on the 18th by 10pm. Nope. I call back and escalate and am told I will be called by noon. At 11:50, I get the call. No, there was no physical scan. Ever. It was NEVER out for delivery. What I was seeing was the "natural progression of the package." I.e. where the GUESSED it should be. So now you know - the UPS tracking page is BS. You, the customer, can never know if there was actually a scan of your package or if they are just guessing. And customer service lies about it to get rid of you. At least they finally admitted that the package is lost. And it will take 8-10 days to complete a "trace" before I can even ask the vendor to re-ship. Not the first time they have screwed up. Worst was Summer 16 when I was receiving refrigerated medicine. Driver came to the house, parked for a couple of minutes. I went out to save him some time and found he was getting ready to leave because he couldn't find the package. He opened the back of the truck and said if I could see it, he'd deliver it. I saw it immediately and pointed. His response. "Oh." At least I got the medicine. And at least now I know their tracking website is BS. Many vendors will use a different shipper if you ask. When you order something, ask for USPS or FedEx or DHL. Sadly, UPS isn't what it once was. read more

Worst facility EVER!! The people are liars that just tell you what you want to hear but never actually take any action to ensure that you get your package. The driver supposedly "couldn't find my house". So now a package that was supposed to be here yesterday (Friday) won't be here until Monday. Mind you, another package in that same delivery was delivered to my home yesterday . So one driver could find my house but the other couldn't!?? So now I have only 1 of my 3 packages in this amazon shipment and the one I needed most (with 6 ITEMS) is one of the ones that wasn't delivered because of delivery driver incompetence. How does a MAILING SERVICE not find a house? And not only that, they made zero attempts to contact me and inform me that they could not locate my home. Instead, I had to make hella phone calls just to be told Friday evening that my package would arrive by 10 am Saturday and then it never come. So then on Saturday (today) I had to make more calls only to be told that the person who said my package would be delivered Saturday had no right to do so and my package wouldn't arrive until Monday. Why? Because even though the delivery driver is the one who messed up, they won't ship my package Saturday unless I pay for it (an option I was never told or given). So because the delivery driver couldn't do their job, my Friday package will not be here until Monday. The entire time this is happening, I was the one making calls and trying to figure this out. I've put more energy into trying to figure out what happened to my package that's now stuck on a delivery truck just 30 minutes away than the delivery driver put into delivering it on time. Don't get me wrong, I understand mistakes happen but I can't stand when people lie and don't communicate. There was zero concern that I was being given multiple different answers regarding my delivery time and zero accountability for the fact that the mistake was on there part and was therefore their duty to fix by delivering it on Saturday. Ups claims driver stopped by my house with a package, however we sat home all day and nobody ever came here. Worst service ever!

I mailed a package from CT to MD, and received an empty box. As per the CT store, my package arrived at the Sparks location damaged, but the ceramic bowl had been removes, the box retaped and delivered. Can even imagine what kind of person would open a box, remove a broken bowl, retape it and deliver iit.That's insane. The help on the phone couldn't speak English. I wish I could give a lower rating. The carriers are lazy and don't deliver packages if they are too big! Even if they are not heavy! You call to get clarity and the supervisors are rude. They always tell you come pick up your package but CLEARLY that's why I paid for delivery! The whole building need to go take a customer service class and the carriers need to be retrained!
