If I could give them a zero star I would. Important expensive item needed for Sunday was supposed to be delivered Friday. Even called amazon to ask what the heck is going on. Amazon tried contacting them but no answer. Since Saturday is the 4th of July, we now won't be getting Item until Monday, the day after it's needed. We even have proof how it was showing out for delivery since 3am Friday, then all of a sudden at 9pm not able to be delivered due to inclement weather, etc...wth...the office is 10 minutes away from where we live, and there wasn't anything going on, no protest, no riots, and no bad weather...I was wearing shorts and flip flops at 9pm!! Someone just wanted to get home early to prepare for the holiday, with our item stuck in the truck. So we spend good money on something we can't use now. Normally excellent service. Have had some customer service desk employee issues in the past, which were poorly resolved. This is what keeps me from giving them 5 stars. The service has improved in the last year, but it was painful getting here. Our drivers have always been superb at customer service- going above and beyond expectations. My business is assigned a customer service rep, but sadly, most of my questions go unanswered. Either way, UPS easily beats FedEx and USPS. I ordered an item through amazon and it was shipped to me through UPS. It apparently is coming through this service center. I say that because according to the tracking info it was on the truck for delivery yesterday but the driver skipped me and went home without delivering my package. It is now showing as on the truck again today. All I want to do is talk to someone to make sure the driver actually does his job today, but I can't get in contact with anyone. System shows packages go back to facility, "address updated" to the same address on the package and still manages to not get delivered. Worst service ever! I was given a delivery window of 12:45-4:45 and then had access to a map which apparently shows the truck I'm waiting on. This truck drove within 1/2 a block of my house THREE TIMES in that window. And yet here I am at 5:45 waiting for that expletive to get here before my dinner is completely wrecked tonight. This is a very important set of documents that must be signed for so I have no choice but to wait on them to make their way here... whenever they feel like it apparently. They should remove the app because it created a terrible experience watching a truck literally do laps around my house for 7 hours. Can you say inefficient???!!! Will be delivered by end of day.... 7 pm I get a notification .package will be delivered tomorrow... next day same thing... next day same thing. It is now Monday night with out a delivery date. I am very frustrated. Two days in a row ups says it attempted to deliver my package. The tracking app would show the vehicle in the area but the driver would never ring the doorbell and would end up sticking sticker on my door for failed delivery attempt. I have a ring doorbell that alerts me if someone is at my door but I was not looking at my phone the minute he came to the door. The video does not show him knocking or ringing the doorbell but just putting a sticker on my door anyway. I have attempted to contact customer service but ups customer service has been unhelpful as it indicated that someone would call me from the local center which is this one but no one has. The item in question is a cell phone which I am waiting on so I can be reachable again to the people who rely on my including my elderly parents. I'm very angry. Working on a home in a rural area in Mason County. Have multiple packages of somewhat high value and great importance to me. I have talked to ups , 1*800-742-5877, wherever that is. Last night I was lied to. The man I spoke with promised me my deliveries would be made on Sept 17th and not to worry. He told me to take his word for. SO I check in the morning online and sure enough and it's being delivered today, Sept 13th. Its on the truck and enroute. There will be no one at the sight and this equipment will just be left there by UPS. So I call again today. I'm told no one made any changes to the delivery date the day prior. Got hung up on by Omar. These people are horrible. Waste my time, on the phone over 20 minutes one night, then over 20 the next morning. If UPS THINKS PUTTING PEOPLE ON HOLD FOR 15+ MINUTES OR MAKING THEM TALK TO AN AUTOMATED SYSTEM WILL MAKE THEM CALM, HAPPY OR SOLVE A PROBLEM - THEY ARE MISTAKEN. Here is the issue. All this buying online and having deliveries by UPS and its Sister Idiot Company, Fed EX - have put us customers at a disadvantage. These companies perform so under par, yet every time I purchase something online, I am forced to deal with them. WTF am I going to do when/if this package is stolen? I don't know what has happened with UPS lately, but their customer service and timeliness of deliveries has gone down hill drastically. There was once a time they would have been my first option to ship and or to receive packages, but now they are my last option. Multiple times packages that I am to receive have for one reason or another been delayed. Case in point..... I had a package that was supposed to be delivered to my house today has now been rescheduled to be delivered 3 days from now when it is sitting at their facility 14 miles away!! This is not the first time a similar situation has happened with them. I would not recommend them to anyone and if given a choice will always pick another shipper. The worst "SHIPPING" company ever.....1 week and I still haven't revived my package,the shipper of my item called and took care of the mistake and still ups hasn't delivered. Called them,took 1 hour 12 minutes of my time just to find out they did not complete their end of paper work with my shipper. If I could give zero stars I would. I have had two horrible experiences with this place, first being I had a 400$ Milwaukee drill set shipped via UPS to the Home Depot store and it never made it there, apparently it was just lost after being loaded on the truck. And the most recent experience was yesterday. I was home all day yesterday and according to the tracking info it was delivered at 10am to my front door. I don't know where it was delivered to but it was not delivered to my house. So according to them it was delivered to my address but here I am still waiting for a package that contains several hundred dollars of product. You would think a company this large and known would have their stuff together but apparently not. If you live in the area I suggest paying extra and having fedex deliver your packages. It actually seems to get to its destination that way. read more

I live in WA and ordered a package from Bestbuy on 12/27. UPS received the package from Bestbuy in CA at 12:46AM on 12/28 (Friday). But the package was sitting in the UPS facility until 1/2 (Wednesday). I called UPS and they claimed that the package didn't make the trucking for 12/28. 12/31 was a holiday for their warehouse. That's why the package was sitting in CA for 5 days. Whatever! Then, the package started to move on 1/2 and supposed to be delivered on 1/3. Whatever reason, the package arrived to Seattle, WA at 12:56 AM on 1/3 and expected to delivery on 1/3. Around 3:00PM, I received an email that indicated the package was delay and wouldn't deliver until end of 1/4. It did come on 1/4 at 9:30PM. Called UPS and filed a complain. The UPS manager told me that the UPS Ground doesn't guarantee time of delivery. Normally, the delivery time can be end of the day that means up to midnight. If I want to have my package delivery on specific time, I should request from the shipper for a delivery with specific delivery time such as second day or next day service. It really escalated my anger. Who doesn't know UPS charges arms and legs for shipping a package by second day or next day? Besides, who will pay for second day delivery for shipping a package from CA to WA which can be done in 2-3 business days by regular ground? If my package is shipped from NY to WA and takes 8 days for arrival, I wouldn't be that angry. But this is from CA to WA. Besides, no matter how many time you call UPS for complaint, it is nothing they really can't do. They will not contact the local office and specially handle your package. Want special service, pay for the extremely expensive 2 days or over night service. Ridiculous UPS. read more

I would highly recommend NOT to use UPS if you live in a new development. I had a package suppose to arrive today and checked the tracking number this morning and found out that they were going to return it back to the sender cause they couldnt find my address in the system, instead of maybe calling or contacting the sender to verify that the address is correct!! I live in a new development. I had to call ups 5 times and wasted my time. Not only did i need this package TODAY ups brushed me off. Instead of them owning up to there fault, they made this my issue and not theres. If there resolution is to immediately just send crucial stuff back without even trying to do there job and fact finding, they should just give there business fully to ups or fedex. After the lady told me at the Pacific office that my address is not in there system ....not even 30 mins later I see a Ups truck drive by my house and deliver something to a house that is three houses down!!! read more
