I went to this store today with a return . It was in the original box that had shipped through UPS. There was a pre-printed label on the box and was ready to ship. The only thing it needed was 6 inches of box tape to close the lid. I was informed that I would be charged next time to tape the box. I asked if this was UPS policy or specific to this store. The employee said it was this stores policy to charge for tape. Never has this been an issue. After 1 minute of research and I find out that a UPS store gets 1-2 dollars for packages that have been just dropped off. So these people make money off your box and still charge for tape. 0 is their true score. read more

Me and several other customers came all the way out here because on google and also on their door it says open seven days a week and the hours on sunday are 10 am -3 pm and the store is completely closed down, no one inside, doors locked and lights off. I went into this location today, the day after Christmas for an Amazon return. I was impatient, flustered because my GPS was taking me all over the city. Once I got there, the customer associate, Tirth, was very helpful! I had printed the wrong label, and he offered to help me. I gave him over my phone and he corrected the label for me. It was a simple act of kindness. Just the willingness to take care of it for me, meant everything. I am a 50+ year old woman and patience is not my virtue, but it was Tirth's! Since Covid-19 and the much more dangerous Delta has arrived, the staff has not consistently worn any sort of masks correctly. It is bad enough that a certain amount of customers do not comply, but the staff should. I have read multiple complaints to the manager from other patrons, but he has not addressed it. I have witnessed customer sneezing directly on staff who were unmasked. I see young mothers with babies using the services, and staff not complying to a serious health issue and pandemic. I am disappointed. The staff is only as good as the management. They care about moving your packages and taking your money, but do they care about children's health and passing on a virus that could be deadly or at least dangerous? I have been a customer with a paid box at this UPS store for over 5 years. These last few years, I have seen high turnover and frankly a lack of customer service. I understand that when training new employees it takes time, but you have new employees monthly. Not sure why you cannot keep employees, but you need to figure it out. Also, your store cannot handle the volume of people returning their Amazon packages, you need a larger store and someone that is dedicated to your paid customers. This is by far the best UPS store around. The manager Patrick is always looking out for the customer as well as his employees. You just dont see that very much anymore , a lot of angry people out there today. But when you enter this store your greeted with a smile and friendly atmosphere. There have been a couple instances where Ive sent some art work to people and they received it with some damage...This has nothing to do with the store , it occurred en route to its destination.It happens , but I was amazed and still am just how Patrick jumped on getting a claim filled out for me , to see if there was a way for me to be compensated ... he knows the amount of work I put into the art but I am fully aware also that it might not be approved , its up to headquarters if they will approve it or deny it. ... I honestly thought they would deny it but to my amazement and I truly believe its due to his involvement of getting things done the right way etc both claims were approved and I really am humbled that he is the way he is. ABSOLUTELY the worst!!! To ANYONE that wants to send a package from this location, DON'T!!! I was charged $60.00 to over night an envelope from Lake Tapps to Spokane Wa. The delivery was sent out late Friday night, even thou I came in before 9:30am to have the envelope shipped. This was something special for my daughters. Not only did the envelope not make it to my girls on Saturday, as promised, I had to wait until Monday to find out what happened to my shipment. Then to receive a refund, I will have to contact this location, file a claim, to receive a refund on the amount I spent to have my envelope shipped over night!! When you pay to have something done, especially the amount I paid, you would, and should expect the other party (UPS) to hold up their end as well. I strongly agree! Me and my neighbors waited for our items for wayyy too long! Even tho our tracking said delivered, they kept our Christmas presents for 4 DAYS!! That's insane! Very respectful and kind. I do feel sad that the manager didn't hire extra help for the holidays. He loads these guys with soooo much work for what I saw and heard. I've been coming here for about a year now and have absolutely no complaints. Every time I walk in the door I'm greeted with a "hi" or "hey welcome to UPS", doesn't matter if they are busy or not. I've done business with 3 people here and am honestly amazed, seems like they are happy to see me and work as hard as they can to get me in and out as quick as possible. Also, the hours here are great, open earlier and stay open later than other UPS offices. All in all - AMAZING service! read more

Owner was working the counter today. Asian older gentleman. I asked if he was the manager and was told he is owner, so am confident my experience is this stores type of non-customerservice policy. I brought in 4 packages going back to Amazon. No transaction needed, no running card or anything, everything was done through Amazon and I printed my barcodes at home. He tried to charge for taping the labels onto the packages. I told him I'd tape them. Now, I do not know if he wanted to charge me for the time it was going to take, but he and his employees just stood there watching me tape (I actually felt bad for her, she looked uncomfortable when he tried to charge me for such a frivolous thing). Or maybe he wanted to charge me for the tape that was going to be used? Well, I didnt give him the opportunity to change his mind and I proceeded to use as much tape as humanly possible. ALL FREE! PLEASE READ . PLEASE READ December 6 2017 I enter the usps store at noon. No greeting nothing . I just stand there. I sarcastically say hi Christie! I have had a box her for nearly 4 years. After waiting for 10 min she goes and gets the manager to help with another customer. My problem was a 3 month box is 75 dollars , I have been late 3 times in years. And I mean days late. My business uses this box, they mail me money!!!! Why would I let it go a month? Well Christie who is a very strong personality wants to argue with me in front of 5 customers that they have always charged me for late fee's and herself has personal. It's tempting not to go pull bank records to prove my point . The owners kid well he's the owner too has always been nice , we had always talked about different tv shows . Today he wants to posture up to me and in front of customers because he didn't want to hear it about them never charging me a late fee. I explained I was in Arizona for 10 days . He reprimands me in frontu of the entire store and says this will never happen again , all my employees including Christie will charge you a late fee . Meanwhile Christie yells out Jayson I have always charged you a late fee and wants to argue with me while she is helping another customer and has a store full. Let's say this since John left the place has gone down hill, no customer loyalty, they are expensive , but they are close. Side note: Christie's FIRST DAY , FIRST DAY I REMIND YOU I make 2 single sides color copies she totals it out almost 5 bucks!!! I said no that's wrong. She proceeded to tell me I was wrong that's what copies cost and basically made crap up as she went along. I asked for John he came over and said your charging him for 2 sides and not giving the discount. She look humiliated . BevUse clearly she has a problem with being wrong . They have stuck some fed ex envelopes in box box as I have asked but screwed that up on Times also . If they don't put the envelope in my box on Saturday I won't get it tell Monday !!! Now I just wasted 60 for overnight shipping. However , I never got upset , I kindly let them know . Look at the turnover rate recently what's going on. I'm pretty disappointed that both the website AND the sign above the cashiers head say they take passport photos. They do not. When I questioned why it was on the sign hanging above the counter, I was told "they don't make specialized signs for smaller locations." That literally makes zero sense. read more

Better prices than the US Post Office - for boxes. Not sure why complaints and low stars - sounds like these are just high maintenance customers who don't understand or believe rules apply to them. First time here, not super impressed. I had two packages to send and I asked the girl for tracking numbers. She prepared my packages and I almost walked out without the tracking numbers because she didn't remember to give them to me. When I requested them, she handed me two stickers with tracking numbers but did not tell me which belonged to which package. I had to ask her to differentiate them for me. I'm used to being given a tracking number without having to ask, and also being told which number corresponds to which package. I'll stick to my other location! read more

I tried to ship a package, to a business, using their UPS Account number. The guy at the UPS Store said they do not allow 3rd Party account numbers at that store. I can understand that, but I then told the guy helping me that it was the RECIPIENT'S account number...not a 3rd Party. He still refused to let me ship it using the recipient's account number. He told me I would need to go to the hub...in Fife to ship the package. Absolutely ridiculous. I used to have a mailbox at this same location and they were fine. It's not like I was unknown to them. Pretty disappointed in the customer service here. The building should not say UPS on the sign if they will not allow you to ship using a UPS account. This place has fallen apart since the last owners. Went in today asked to email a document I was ask three times after that he asked if this was an e no stupid it is a @ sign. I walked in the door no greeting at all. The asian man I asked him a question he gave me that discussed your bothering look very uncomfortable. The ladie with the dark wavey hair surely got up on the wrong side of the best she was grouchy and very short. It was so pleasant before to come in they always greeted me, and had a smile and very helpful. So sad they had to leave. Can we get someone in here with a personality and that is somewhat happy to be work or someone that can fake it at least. Went here to have a document notarized. When we asked the first time the gal at the desk said the person who could notarize was running a bit late and would be 10 more minutes. So, we went and did a quick errand and came back about 15 minutes later. I asked again about the notary service and she got on the phone. After a brief conversation we were told that their notary was stuck in traffic and would be 30-45 minutes. If we had gone there during the week I could see this, however, it was Saturday morning, so I'm not sure exactly what traffic they would have been stuck in. We ended up going elsewhere. read more

Next day, I went back into the store and sought their assistance to help confirm the progress of my package. I was obliged. But that isn't the gold medal...no. Much to my surprise...even disbelief, I found that, though I dealt with different store representatives each time I dropped in to anxiously track my African-bound package,(and I sometimes went in twice a day lol), regardless of how busy the store was, there was always this pleasing willingness to assist and endure me. In two instances, representatives even gave me the update as soon as I stepped in the door...you know why?...the Supervisor had apparently flagged the update, with a note to representatives at each service station to always check the update on my package at every shift. And this was just me...my single package...and all through its long, winding journey into and through the inefficiency that dogs the communication infrastructure in the still developing climes of Central Africa. The store didn't need to do all that, they had no liability or any such thing. I was deemed to have concluded all the aspects of that single transaction once I'd left the store. Yet they did.
