It took me a while to figure out how to create a yelp account but I want to write review because I thought it was important to know how your male staff treat the ladies in the office.while I was at my appointment on last week the male coworker was rudely speaking to all his employees and using foul language and I was able to hear it while I was in my room , this just was just overall just not behavior you should be having in a professional setting the care I was given was great love the dr au but your male staff horribly rude I never knew a man can speak to his fellow workers like that very disappointing. It's my first "appointment" here and already I'm not impressed. It is 9:46am my appointment was at 9am. When I got here there were only 2 gentlemen waiting I was asked to fill out paperwork as I did that a few others checked in. It didn't take me long to fill out the paperwork yet around 5 people were called in who showed up after me. What's the point of making an appointment? I wasn't even first come first serve. First time patient and won't come back. I showed up 15 mins early for my appointment at 9am. And they didn't take me in until 9:42 even though there was only 2 other patients in the waiting room with me at 8:45am. After that I kept seeing more patients came in after me but got helped before me. I went to ask the front girl and she said those patients are for a different doctor. When I finally called in the room, Doctor was rushed on me and spent less than 3 mins and rushed out. She told me to go home and wait for the insurance to approve the X-ray order she requested for me. And no one went into the room to lead me out of the exit. I was like a lost patient wandering around looking for the exit. As soon as I left the office, I called my PCP to request a referral to a different doctor, Dr Eugene Cheng. The experience with Dr Cheng is way more pleasant and better. He has a very good bed side manner and spent time to explain and answer all my questions. And he could order me an X-ray which I took on the same day after seeing him. Oh Upperline health didn't call me until 4 weeks later to say that my X-ray was approved by my insurance..smh I would not recommend this place. read more

I told my friend about the experience and they told me that they remember the scheduler who was being treated disrespectfully as a sweet caring and hardworking young lady but I don't know if she is still there or not. My mom had surgery on her foot almost 1 month ago. Prior to the surgery she was walking around Universal Studios. Now she is in constant 8-10/10 pain. Cries and cries everywhere because of the pain. Did she get pain meds? No. How about physical therapy? No. Well surely she needed the surgery? If she was walking around previously and now is not; this surgery was pushed for the financial greed of the podiatrist. In this case this is maleficence. "Do no harm" to your patients. This is 100% grounds for a lawsuit as they have physically and emotionally damaged the patient. She has had several visits back to the office post-surgery. What did they do? Take off the wrap, put on a new wrap. Bye bye. Schedule another visit in a week. Same thing. Wrap on. Wrap off. Bye bye. On top of that they will shuffle you between doctors of the practice so not even the same doctor sees you. What have they done? Absolutely nothing. Run Forest RUN!!! Run as far away from this practice and these hacks of a doctor. Not only does the customer service suck, but the actual care by these "doctors" is sub-standard. I went to this office because I had broken 2 bones in my foot. I received decent care and the staff was friendly. I am giving this place one star for what happened after my appointments with the doctor. I was given a boot to walk in for the next few weeks. Recently, I received a bill for the boot. They charged me $ 484.00 for the L4361 Walking boot. That same exact boot retails at under $50 on amazon. I spoke to the staff about my boot. After talking with the same people that seemed so kind at first, I learned that I had been scammed out of over 400 dollars. This is not simple overcharging, this is fraud and thievery. They refused to refund me the extra money I had given them and failed to apologize. Please be careful about going to this location in the future. read more

This place is HORRIBLE. From the office staff to some of the nurses. I'm waiting sometimes upto an hour past my appt times. They are money hungry. On my first visit absolutely nothing was done for me and they still charged my $50 copay and aren't willing to work anything out with you. Communication is horrible. My ins got cut off since I was out of work for over 12 weeks so I because a cash payment, since let's be honest cobra is so unaffordable, and I told them nothing more than just the visit to check my ankle. The dr told me the xrays were part of the office visit price so I let them do it. Come to find out there were trying to charge me for the X-ray! As soon as my ankle is completely healed I will def not be coming back to this place. I will find another dr and get another referral. read more

This is an insurance scam posing as a foot doctor. Here is how the scam works. They submit a huge bill to your insurance company. That bill is denied by your provider. You however are still responsible for your portion. Which is a percentage of the overall bill. So, what would have normally been just a small co-pay turns out to be $250. You can't dispute it because, ultimately the patient is responsible for any billing. Also, your provider won't get involved because they denied the claim. I saw the doctor for 5min. He rushed in and out and I left disappointed. A little while later I got the bill and called for an explanation. They don't answer the billing line. I did finally speak with someone, and I could tell the person I spoke with deals with calls just like mine all day long. You have been warned! read more

This office went downhill. My PCP referred me to Dr DeSantis a few years ago and he was great. I was referred back earlier this year and unfortunately I saw another Dr. Dr Patel is the worst. He has no bedside manner. He didn't take my condition seriously even though I followed his treatment and recommendations and there are X-rays to show my condition. He seems very disinterested and uncaring. I saw him several times and it's been an unpleasant experience each time. Today was the straw that broke the camel's back and I called my insurance to file a complaint against him. The office is also disorganized. It took 5-6 messages over the course of 4 days so that I could speak to someone. I don't know what happened to the efficient running office and the caring Dr DeSantis that was there before. read more

I have given this facility two tries and both times I've been disappointed. The office is very unorganized, always running late and referrals aren't completed in a timely manner. My son saw two different podiatrist. Dr. DeSantis was the second one and said my son was misdiagnosed with an old people's disease. He did order an MRI which took 6 weeks to get scheduled. On the day of the appointment for his results his staff calls me at 1:30pm to let me know he was in a conference and no available appts until 3 weeks. Our appt was at 3pm. I missed work for nothing. I have come in to see Dr. De Santis several times. He's cheerful and confident which makes the patient feel confident. He took x-rays to determine the problem and shortly he removed my two big toe nails and I couldn't sleep the night before out of worry. But he removed them with no trouble and its been 6 days and still no pain. When he's in both his Newport office and Orange office they both move swiftly and professionally. I take my daughter here for ingrown toe problems. Dr de santes is very nice. Very fast talking and working. So he's in And out quick but Very nice and informative. Has a cheery demeanor. Had to see dr hewlitt and he was a nice dr too! Really funny. I think it. Helped with my girls anxiety wondering if she had an infection. Easy to talk to. Which helps when your seeing another dr you don't know. Made you feel like you were always his patient. Love Lucy she is the receptionist who is bright and cheery. Please don't go to this clinic. I was tired of the pain of ingrown toenails so I had Dr. Negron remove my big toenails. They were supposed to grow back relatively normally, although smaller, but they didn't. (It's been over a year now.) Also, when I went back a week after the procedure to have him look at my toes, which I believed were infected, he took off ONE bandaid, and declared they were not infected. About three days later I went to urgent care. They were infected, and I needed to take antibiotics. I can only surmise this doctor's philosophy is get them in and out as quickly as possible and collect the insurance money. I'm still sorry I went to this clinic. Please find another one if you want to see a podiatrist. read more

I was referred to Dr. Negron for a cyst on my foot. After an MRI, we decided to remove a cyst because it was painful. The surgery was scheduled in a matter of weeks, and only took approximately one hour. I've seen Dr. Negron four times and want to say what an excellent physician he is. He is kind and compassionate, a great communicator, and generally runs on time. At one appointment, I had to wait 30 minutes, and he immediately apologized upon entering the room (having visited numerous doctors over the past 15 years, I have never had a doctor apologize for being late... that really meant a lot to me!) I will say that the office is undergoing a comprehensive remodel and it is presently approximately halfway completed. As such, it's a little dingy and dusty, but I'm sure it will be beautiful when it's complete. I'm just grateful that they are continuing to see patients while they are remodeling because I would've lost out on an excellent physician if I had judged him solely on the condition of the office. I highly encourage you to see Dr. Negron if you have any issues with your feet. read more

Be careful the doctors tell you that you're insurance is paying for a 2 sets of inserts as a pair, then after billing insurance for over $1200 in simple making molds of my flat feet and me paying out of packet over $300 ... I go to pick up my second set and find out that they give me wrong information and want $270 more. After I tell them forget it that's not what you said they tell me to bad we made them and you either pay or we send you to collection. Both doctors and staff have always created a relaxed environment for her. My mother gets her toenails trimmed every two months. She always looks forward to her appointments. I find the doctors in this company to be excellent. As far as the other staff in the Orange location however, they are unhelpful and sometimes just unpleasant. There are times when it is obvious that they are not interested in being helpful in any way, shape or form, even in a critical situation. One exception is Marisol, she is always caring and helpful. Great place. Dr Hewlitt and Dr Wilson are the best! The two girls that are up front (Ivy and Michelle) are very sweet and made me feel warm and welcome. They treated me like I was family and seemed to love their job. Also whoever is responsible for the decorating is amazing. I love the different holiday celebrations! However, I almost wasn't going to return to Cambridge due to a past horrible experience with one of the girls there (Marlene). She was so rude and miserable and had such a fowl mouth it was a shame. I only returned because I heard she was no longer there and I just adore the rest of the staff. As long as they don't hire anyone like Marlene ever again I will stay a patient at Cambridge! read more

cant believe we didn't make a review for here yet oh my.. several years back the better half needed a bone spur addressed and the recommended specialist was Dr DeSantis of Cambridge Foot and Ankle. Dr DeSantis explained everything, handled the surgery, and she has seen him for follow ups regularly since. The Cambridge team has taken GREAT care of her over the years and have been outstanding at maintaining and being proactive about her foot care. Since she is a diabetic it is vital that she be very attentive to her lower extremities and I have complete confidence in the Cambridge team. Thank you for taking great care of her! read more

Had a very frustrating experience tryin to obtain diabetic shoes my primary doctor's order was lost twice. The office been under remodeling for two years. I have had 4 different doctors over short period. The final straw was when the impressions for insoles and order for shoes were lost. At this point all the required paperwork for Medicare had expired. Upon discussing the situation with the office manager she suggested that I dreamed that I had had impressions and ordered shoes because the couldn't be found.
