First, a wait time of over an hour is ridiculous. I should have been tipped off immediately for what I was in for however by the alarmingly cheap price and their inability to tell me what product the filler is, only that it was HA. (I would later see on their Instagram some months later they got "juvederm" in but a google search revealed the type they got is what anyone can order offline) I waited in the small waiting area for an hour and then was put in a hallway for over an hour with numbing cream. I was back there so long it wore off and needed to be reapplied. When I was eventually seen, the service was rushed and painful. I noticed the filler was in insulin needles (attached a screen cap from their Instagram that is recent within the last couple months) Regardless I went back a couple weeks later for a touch up (another hour plus wait) and Mimi was sick and obviously distracted including checking her phone after she had put gloves on. She proceeded to really only top up one side of my lips leaving them quite uneven. Unfortunately I don't have any close up pictures because I didn't want to look at them honestly. When I went to see and actual plastic surgeon to fix the irregularities- which she noticed right off the bat, she also remarked on lumpiness and possible granulomas/ nodularity. I'm just happy it has started to dissolve as I was worried for a while it was silicone because of their inability to inform me of a brand name at the time.

Dr Jen is incredibly thorough, detail oriented, and meticulous. Now 3 months post-op, I am genuinely thrilled with my results. I feel refreshed and more confident, while still looking like myself. My nurse Anna was wonderful. before and after surgery, she gave me clear, knowledgeable explanation of what to expect, including the swelling process and what would happen during the first few days of recovery. knowing what was normal and what to expect made me feel safe throughout the healing process. Helen, the consultant, was incredibly responsive when I developed an allergy two weeks after surgery over a weekend, which made me feel very reassured. He was very professional and personable and his receptionist was lovely. I have been plagued with spider veins since puberty and, while I like my dermatologist a lot, she's in Manhattan and going to her just takes a long time. I got sclerotherapy with Dr. Yee and was pleased with the results. He was very careful and thorough. I would definitely recommend Re-nu! They are also open Saturdays, which is very convenient.

I APPRECIATE THAT HONESTY SO MUCH!! This, to me, means that she is more concerned with my skin health and attaining optimal results for me rather than trying to sell me a bunch of treatments and products. She gave me samples of things to use, and really helped me to rethink my entire approach to skincare, now that I'm 30 and my skin is apparently a hormonal teenager. Right after the facial, my face turned red, especially on my cheeks. I didn't think anything of it, since the esthetician did do extractions on my nose and cheeks. Of course redness is expected. After a few weeks, the rash started to get worse and didn't go away. I sent this place an email with pictures of my face and told them that ever since my facial treatment here, I developed a terrible rash with pimples. They answered the following: 'Hello, This is Jessica from Skintology medspa. I did your facial when you were in our office. It looks like your skin may be having a bit of flareup from rosacea. The products that we use for facials are ZO skincare products which are medical grade.' ... like ok so what if medical grade products were used? They still caused an allergic reaction to my skin. I wasn't expecting to get my money back or anything but I was expecting at least an apology or something from the Med spa. Anyways, I ended up having to go to a dermatologist (another expense and time out of my day) and he said that it did look like a rosacea flare up from the skin care products that they used at the facial. I've been using a steroid cream that was prescribed to me by the dr (also another expense to buy the cream). The rash has not gone away and it's been well over a month. I don't know if at this point it will ever go away. I'm traumatized and I'm never going to get a facial ever again. I'm embarrassed to show my face; I used to have the clearest skin and now it's just a mess.

This is also my very first cavity in all 24 years of my life and I trusted my dentist through the whole process. I had my one teeth filled and was experiencing pain and sensitivity but I waited about two weeks to see maybe if it's just my teeth trying to adjust. I made an appointment to go back and get it refilled and a second tooth next to the initial one had been drilled and filled without me knowing beforehand. I was never asked or told before the drilling that another teeth would have been touched in the process. I waited another two weeks after that, still pain and sensitivity. I cannot chew on anything on that side of my mouth. I cannot drink anything that is not room temperature without it triggering a sharp pain in my teeth. I went back again and a temporary filling was put it. Same ordeal, pain and sensitivity. Waited another two weeks and did a scan and was told I still had a bit of cavity that wasn't taken care of the very first time and was assured that this time for sure would be the last time I had to deal with this pain. So some more drilling was done and the temporary filling was put back in. AGAIN pain and sensitivity. I went back one last time and was told that maybe I was just allergic to the filling and a different filling was put in. Not only did it not help, I constantly feel like I have to grind my teeth now. This new filling also came with a lingering discomfort that has been causing me a headache. I will not be coming back here and I for sure do not recommend this place at all. Initially after the first filling was done, I had asked if I could please switch a dentist and I was denied that. This is obviously intentional negligence to not put into consideration what a patient is asking you. This experience is really traumatizing especially for what was told a small filling that took me 5 visits going back and forth. Please always ask for a second opinion about your cavities because this could literally be you. I really wish I have never had my teeth filled or step foot in this place. I can never rest or eat the same again and have to deal with this pain everyday. Please go somewhere else or avoid this place.
