Had a great experience here this morning. Last night I was eating a bowl of homage pasta and watching a YouTube video on my phone at the same time. I wasn't paying attention when suddenly I bite into my damn fork. It was SOOOOOO painful. I slowly walk to my mirror praying and hoping I didn't break my tooth. Well I did! I chipped my damn tooth! It was 7:45pm on a Thursday I start browsing google and yelp quickly and find Glendale Dentist Group. To my surprise Debbie picked up and booked me for the following day at 10am!! I went in and had a great experience by Dr. Cukier. He gave me a ton of options but we went with filing. He filed down my tooth and it looked pretty good! I will certainly consider going to them in the future to cleanings, whitenings, and other needs. I am certainly a happy camper and so happy I found this place which is a couple of blocks from my home. The space looks large from outside but inside the waiting area is pretty small with nice velour chairs, and the front area is nicely decorated. Please stay away from this place. This Doctor only care about money. I had an appointment for consultation for a missing tooth and a cleaning. When I got out there I was told that the lady who does the cleaning was out. I told them that I needed sometime to think about getting an implant and I wasn't interested in getting a bridge because this involved shaving down virgin teeth. The doctor then said to me that I can have veneers instead and forced me to do them the same day of the consultation. He told me that veneers only required minimal shaving. Well he lied . He shaved down 3 of my good teeth all the way down to my gums for a bridge . Which I told him that I didn't want . They then lied and said that my insurance will not cover them because they were veneers and charged me $4000 dollars. My life has been hell ever since. I have suffered a lot of anxiety , depression, bone loss and serious infections. This place ruined my life. read more

Honestly such a befuddling place. The reception staff is lovely but do not expect to get anything done in a timely manner. My insurance ended and I got on a new plan and the insurance person Sherry told me that it would take 2-3 weeks for them to get approval on my new insurance. It's been over two months. I call every week 2-3 times a week and leave messages. I've emailed. And I've gone to the office. NO ONE HAS GOTTEN BACK TO ME. Nice, clean office. No subway nearby, only the bus. Residential area. The office staff is really down-to-Earth and friendly. They really push you on Invisalign and other cosmetic things though. Cleaning was extremely thorough (at least 30 minutes, geez). And even though I'm 25, they still gave me a goody-bag of dental hygiene treats (listerene, toothpaste and a toothbrush) and I also snagged a magnet. The dentist was really nice, young and funny. That said, he completely ignored the fact that my wisdom teeth are impacted until I brought it up. This alarmed me a little bit. He's filling a cavity for me on Monday, so I'll let you know how that goes. read more

I was super excited to make an appointment, for my husband and I. I received a call about a week or 2 earlier to see if we were able to move apts to a closer date, we were not, so we kept the apt as originally scheduled. I did not get a confirmation call the day before, which I thought was strange, but when we arrived our apt for 10:45 am was confirmed. We filled out the paperwork and sat in the small waiting room. We literally waited for over an hour an a half. I asked when we will be seen, and was told 5 mins. Finally we were called at 12:15 am (hour and a half wait) and the hygienist apologized and said we were not on her schedule. She was super friendly, but the wait and lack of communication by the front desk staff is unacceptable. My husband didn't even get his teeth cleaned because we were in there so long. The only reason I did is because I'm pregnant and it's super important that I got the cleaning. Needless to say we won't be back, and they lost 3 new local patients. A few pointers for the staff: 1. They need to be wearing a mask at ALL times. There was this one women who was coming in an out (I assume she works there because she walked right in back and was calling everyone "baby") had absolutely no mask. 2. Don't brag about getting time "to spend with your family" during COVID. Your patients may not have the same luxury. For example, I'm a nurse. This pandemic has been a nightmare for me. read more

The prices are so expensive at this facility for cosmetic dentistry, that most people are only able to afford getting 10 of the top row of their teeth done. Even with a discount, the cost of coming to this facility is two times the amount you would spend elsewhere. Don't get me wrong the work is great here at this location. It's just unfortunate and studies have shown that most Americans go overseas to places like Europe, South America, or even Asia, to get cosmetic dentistry work done. It's literally the same work using the same material if not better but at a cheaper more cost efficient Price. I asked Dr. Robert Cukier why his prices were so much more expensive then what's offered at other cosmetic dentist locations around the world, and his reply was, "You get what you pay for" Which to me is a line straight out of a car salesman handbook. His reply also validates my point of cosmetic dentistry at his facility is much more expensive than what you can get in other places and around the world. ... but in his case I understand.... I moved to NJ and it was impossible to transfer my medical records to my new dentist. My x-rays got "lost" in the mail and apparently the post office does this to them "all the time." They can't even send my records electronically because they're system has been down and there is no ETA for when it will be back up. Very bad customer service. Yeah, I moved and am no longer going to be a customer but that doesn't give you the right to make it incredibly difficult to obtain my medical records. Ugh, I was not pleased with my visit at all. IF YOU ARE AFRAID OF THE DENTIST DO NOT GO HERE!!! I really only went here for a consultation for invisalign and figured I might as well get a cleaning too. The hygienist Yvonne that did my cleaning was nice that's about it. They have outdated Xray equipment so you have to get those annoying Intoral Xrays and they use this uncomfortable metal bar/rod to place them in your mouth which I have never experienced, the whole get up was causing the Intoral Xrays to cut my mouth up. After that the hygienist begins to clean my teeth to what had to be the ABSOLUTE MOST PAINFUL CLEANING I've ever had in my life!!!!! I usually enjoy my cleanings but not this time, she was drilling deep in my gums and caused so much discomfort pain and bleeding. When she was about done she said she was going to stop because I needed a deep gum cleaning to be completed in 2 visits because I have deep gum pockets -__- I'm like um okay, I go to the dentist regularly why is this the first time I'm hearing this? So Dr. Cukier comes in for all of like 2-3 minutes and he was trying to rush out the whole time, I spent more time with the hygienist then I did with the Dr. Cukier. So I'm talking to him and he doesn't even advise me to get my top two wisdom teeth extracted (I was advised to get them removed at my general dentist because they have cavities and are beginning to decalcify a couple months prior). I ended up asking him and he's like yea sure we can take them out then sticks his mirror and little pointer tool in the tooth hitting the exposed cavity -__- OMG I was sooooo pissed, then I ask about the deep cleaning and he is like yea sure if that's what the hygienist said. Who's the dentist here you or the hygienist. Dr. Cukier's bedside manor was just not as welcoming and he rushed me right out but yet you want me to spend more of my money here? I consulted one of the attending dentist who train the dental residents at my job here in the hospital and he said I DON'T NEED GUM CLEANING and I DON'T HAVE DEEP GUM POCKETS, that's only for people at risk of periodontal disease gingivitis smokers OLDER PEOPLE etc, and when I looked up the reasons for it that's exactly what I found in addition to that most dentist try this when they want to hit you with extra fees. I then consulted my general dentist who I should have just went to all along and she said the same thing. So it seems like they just really wanted my money cuz most insurance don't cover deep gum cleaning so I would have been hit with a $200-$300 bill down the line PER VISIT! no thanks and no way! I will not be going back here ever again!!!! read more

Sounded good at first, but turned into a nightmare!! The dentist decided to do a procedure I was unaware of. I went in for specific procedure and he altered it without my knowing. Well, needless to say, his plan backfired, and I had to seek out an endodontist to correct it. But, that was just the beginning. It got worse as all the work he did turned into my needing root canals in all the teeth he worked on! And the worst being they all happened at the same time!! Imagine needing several root canals all at once!! There are no words to describe. I had to seek out several endodontists because of the extent of the damage and everything happening all at the same time! The endodontists were in disbelief!! The pain and anxiety were thru the roof, combined with loss of work, sleep, and stress, plus massive amounts of antibiotics and painkillers. I'd think twice before signing up. He needs more experience in his field of dentistry so he doesn't have to experiment on his patients!! The Guru of Dentistry...I think not!! read more

Dr Cukier and his staff are AMAZING! I went to him right after a bad visit from a previous dentist. I was upset and his team quickly took care of me and set my mind at ease. I met him and knew immediately I could trust him. He answered all of my questions and I made a follow up appt. I returned a few days later and he began the process of preparing my tooth for a crown. He explained everything that he was about to do. We had previously spoken about veeners and right after the crown prep I decided to go ahead with the veeners. He began to prepare my teeth for veeners ( ALL IN ONE DAY AND PAIN FREE) About 4 days later on Saturday evening 2 of my temps and the temp crown fell out . I called the office around 8 pm and told them what occurred. To my surprise HE called me immediately and set up an appointment on SUNDAY morning around MY schedule (8 am).
