As always it delivered. The chowder is one of the best I have had, curries and stir fries were all gorgeous. Pity we had no room for desert. Service fast, helpful and friendly. I was on a solo trip and they were all very friendly and welcoming, between the bartenders and the waitstaff. We had a great time. The live music was fantastic! I was lucky enough to be there when Mic was performing. He's known for his Garth Brooks covers, and boy did he not disappoint! Great times. So much so that I returned the next night.

She was so unbelievably rude to us and it disgusts me how people just act towards young people. We will never be back again she was horrible so rude and we were all so polite when we came in she had no reason to act like that towards us.

Took a weekend trip to Tramore with hubs. I had an amazing bowl of seafood chowder with thick, luscious slices of moist, hearty brown bread. It was the only brown bread in eight months that I actually enjoyed so...best in the country? The soup was from the starter menu but it was a full bowl so plenty filling for a meal. Hubs enjoyed his duck leg confit and we shared chips that came with some tangy garlic mayo. The steamed carrot/potato/broccoli wasn't anything special. Best part of the meal by far: dessert. As soon as I saw the menu, I knew I would be ordering the blue cheese brownie with fudge sauce + praline ice cream. I mentioned to the server that I liked blue cheese and she offered to have the chef ADD more cheese to my brownie. Whoa that is very accommodating but I think the normal amount of blue cheese in my dessert will be fine. When it arrived, the brownie was amazing, decadent, fudgy, smooth...if smelly cheese + chocolate is wrong, I dont want to be right. Ended up back at the Seahorse when our friends got to town for drinks. The place is really relaxed and has a nook with tables that was nice for our big group to sit together and chat over pints. The servers were extremely nice, checking in and keeping drinks full. If I am ever back in Tramore, I'll definitely have a meal and a drink at the Seahorse again.

We thought we'd squeeze one game in. Against our will we came back the day after , again for the kids to play pool and the rude bar man waited until we ordered our drinks to tell us the youngest child couldn't play pool because "the mecca wasn't great" and then gave us a sarcastic apology for it.
