I've wanted to visit this spot and finally got a chance. When I walked I was surprised with the amount of room and barber chairs were there. From the looks and sounds of it, this place gets busy especially on the weekends. Noe (the owner come to find out later) greeted me and made me feel right at home. The haircut was one of the best I've had in the city - although I'm pretty simple. #2 fade all around, scissor cut the top and taper the neckline. The other thing I enjoyed was their hours allow me to still be able to get a haircut even after I get out of work. I will be coming back when it's time for my next cut. read more

OK plain and simple this is an A+ Barber shop the owner is Noe and his staff is amazing . If you need a cut or a shave from Rigo book an appointment get the cut and the shave you will feel like a new person so worth the xtra time . Parking is better . Bring Cash old school here no plastic . Also looks like kids enjoy cuts . Has some cool boxing memorabilia . Go figure even a pool table . Has TV so even if busy makes it a short wait. . We have been coming to Upper Cuts for 3+ years and absolutely love the service here!! My sons have changed their hair styles over the years and the barbers roll with them and give them exactly what they want!! I recommend these guys to anyone I know who needs a new place to go!! read more

Let me start by saying I've lived in California for two years and I could never find a good barber shop. this place is amazing the customer service is excellent a family environment in there a great place to bring your kids for a haircut I've cut it multiple Barbara's there and they're all good I met the owner Noe and he is very nice and always welcoming whether you're looking for a place to get a nice haircut for your night out or a place to take your kids in a good clean environment this is the spot I'm officially committed to this place and will never cut my hair anywhere else I suggested to everybody not only because they give a good haircuts but they also treat everybody like family in they're always a good feel when you come in that place and when you leave. read more

I'm giving Sally the 5 stars! This place is amazing and everything but I would only sit on Sally's chair. After looking for a good barber I came across Sally about a year+ ago. She's simply the best at what she does. About two months ago I went and trying to get a haircut supper last minute and since Sally had the day off I gave someone else a try... Always good cuts, conversation, customer service and great boxing memorabilia. The parking isn't the best but I always manage to find a spot. If their is a wait its no longer than any other shop but Noe has great taste in television and always has something good to watch while you wait. Thanks Noe for all you do and keep up the good work. I am not a very picky person so i usually don't mind trying out a new barber shop every now & then, but this was the first & last time I will visit Upper Cuts. Overall just a very unpleasant experience. My barber was very rude to me & my haircut was unsatisfactory. read more

This place had become my normal spot for a haircut. Good quality for the price. BUT, that has changed as of today. I went in for a haircut on July 4th. It was busy but not crazy. I got a regular $10 cut and had my daughters bangs trimmed, (normally $5) When we were finished, I was told that my total was $22. You do the math, I thought there was a mistake. Nope, it turns out that because of the holiday, prices were higher. My cut was $12 and my daughters trim was $10. An extra $2 for the cut. Okay, I can live with that. But double for a simple bang trim? Sorry but that's crazy. There are many barbershops opening in the area and if Uppercuts continues this tyoe of businesses hopefully they will receive a knockout punch. read more

First time here ; decided to give it a try( friend recommended me) this place . I gave it a try and well i got attended by from who i herd Dante and got a taper and man i thought it was going to be good and when i saw it i saw missing parts he forgot to fade (by my sideburns) he seemed scared or fragile as it was hist haircut , that pissed me off why am i paying for a haircut that isnt even done correctly! Disappointed coming here i will take my business else where. Ive seen better places . Check it out before investing in this barber shop . read more

Took my little boy here and I have regretted it. The person that cut his hair reeked of marijuana and talked about woman to other barbers there in a inappropriate way. The wait was terrible and I doubt the barber was licensed. His name is rigo don't use him. read more

I've been coming here for years. Its a good place, yes the parking sucks, but the prices are good. I've seen a few comments on here about them raising the price on holiday's, well yeah they do, but I've always seen signs stating that so its no surprise like some of these comments would have you believe, but even with the raised prices on those days its still cheaper than most places. I always have Noe the owner cut my hair, I'm sure the others are fine, its just easier than having to explain each time what I like, but I will say that Noe can be a bit moody at times, so days he is really up beat others not so much. And I hate that he answers the phone or text while cutting hair, very unprofessional and has almost caused me to stop going, but I'll hang in their for now, but if you read this Noe, just STOP doing that.... read more

Horrible service. I sat in my chair while my barber was on his phone for the first 10 min of my appointment. He seemed uninterested and inexperienced and I ended up having to shave my head after the cut (that's how bad it was). I will NEVER be going back. read more
