My condition was getting worse. Other endocrinologists were unable to help and all of their effort was to constantly change my medications without any explanation and no results. I always felt rushed during my doctor visits with them especially after having had to wait in the waiting room for long periods, which was very inconvenient and useless.  Dr. Tashko is one of the very few doctors I know who is extremely passionate about his profession. He takes time to make sure all my questions are answered. He works with me to address my health concerns and makes sure I understand my course of treatment and action. He makes sure we are on the same page and understanding. He takes his time to explain the prescriptions and their side-effects, how they work, and the science behind them. He discusses several options, the outcome of each, and which best works with my lifestyle for the best result. I have NEVER seen a doctor who cared so much. He always prints out handouts for me to take home and he directs me to related articles and resources to educate me on my health condition. Hands down, Dr. Tashko is one of the best doctors and I'm so blessed to have met him and have him as my endocrinologist. After having two babies back to back in 2018 and 2019 I had gained a lot of weight and my A1C went up to 7.0. Thanks to Dr. Tashko I lost 36 lbs and dropped my A1C down to 5.0. This is the best I've ever felt about my health and physical appearance. I would also like to add that his staff is very friendly, respectful, and responsive. My husband and I tried to conceive for six years before initially seeking treatment at another provider in the area. After a year of being treated like a number in a baby factory at the big box fertility clinic, we decided to take a break. We were defeated, discouraged, and unsure whether we would continue in our attempts to have a child. The next year a good family friend who is also an out of state OBGYN suggested Dr Moragianni. We were able to schedule with her fairly quickly and our consultation left us feeling a renewed sense of hope! She actually listened to everything we had to say and explained things to us that we didn't know even after a year of treatment elsewhere. After our first round of bloodwork to get starred, Dr Moragianni identified an irregularity with my thyroid that had been grossly overlooked at the other clinic. She continued to monitor and work with us as I sorted out the thyroid issue with an endocrinologist. During this time we found that my ovaries were often not visible making it nearly impossible to determine egg count and quality. Based on the examination experience, I believe this was also the case at the previous clinic, only they blindly treated me without explaining the situation and therefore the treatment was continuously unsuccessful. Dr Moragianni on the other hand very clearly explained everything, presented us with options, and offered her best advice. She did not encourage us in any way to proceed with a path that was likely to be a dead end. One thing she offered and I was unaware of was egg donation. Ultimately, this made the most sense for our situation, and now we have a beautiful baby boy that I carried to full term. Thanks to Dr Moragianni, my underlying health issue was resolved (I had parathyroid surgery), my time and money were not wasted, and I was treated like the top priority patient at every visit! During her time as my provider, I had nothing but positive experiences with both her and Clinical Associates. Unfortunately, since her retirement and the subsequent transfer of patients to Andrea Holzman, CNP and now to Tanya Johnson, CNP the quality of care and communication has significantly declined. I have repeatedly attempted to refill a prescription by leaving voicemail messages, sending requests through the patient portal, and having my pharmacy submit refill requests. None of these attempts have received a response. Additionally, my wife has been experiencing the same ongoing issues, and I know we are not the only patients affected. At this point, I am actively seeking a new healthcare facility. I am unsure whether the current provider is overwhelmed or simply not prioritizing patient care; however, the lack of communication is unacceptable. Calls to the front desk routinely go unanswered, and messages left are not returned. This is extremely disappointing given my long-standing history with this practice.
