The staff , specifically…read moreMaggie who refused to provide her last name upon multiple requests, was RUDE, and GASLIT me after a HORRIBLE experience where I was literally stabbed with a large needle with no blood results to provide my Dr. who ordered the labs. Not only was the 'poke' improperly executed, the wrong needle size was used, I told them my concerns beforehand with a new trainee attempting to draw my blood and told the "team lead' of my concerns. After I was in tears I expressed I was triggered by her harsh behavior and she went down the hall to call someone else, screaming "make her leave". I was turned away from this place for expressing my discomfort in their staff and the rude employee who made me feel unsafe. I told them I still had a urine test to do which didn't require a blood draw and left because the employees were completely incompetent and unable to coordinate a sufficient effort, they were devoid of any care. IN SHORT, HERE THEY ARE RUDE , THE STAFF IS UNNECESSARILY AGGRESSIVE AND INCOMPETENT... WHEN YOU HAVE OTHER CHOICES , CHOOSE BETTER AND DO NOT GO HERE.

The technicians who have drawn my blood are exceptionally good at drawing blood and, for the past couple years, have been friendly -- obviously some more than others. I always schedule and appointment and have never waited more than five minutes. Last time, a couple months, I walked in the door and two technicians greeted me and invited me back before I had a chance to sit down. I was done in less than 10 minutes from the time I opened the door until I walked out. I have no complaints and, in fact, once noted an email address on the wall to make compliments -- or complaints -- and sent in some positive feedback. I got a friendly response very soon after and appreciated that. I imagine it's not the easiest job to work with different people who all have different expectations of their visit based upon why they are there and also prior experiences with medical appointments, but everyone I've seen has been professional and competent. I told her that I'm disputing the amount because Quest didn't alert me to the fact that the claim was denied by insurance until a year after service. In addition, it turns out Quest has been billing insurance that isn't what they have for me on record. She huffed and said in a nasty tone, "what do you mean you're disputing it?" and I told her AGAIN how the error is because of Quest not billing correctly and that I've been in contact with billing. She wouldn't budge so I made it clear that I would pay the co-pay due that day. Her attitude got even worse after that conversation. Another woman came in to draw the blood and she was actually moderately pleasant. When she finished, she told me I needed to give a urine sample and told me where the restroom was. I turned right when I should have turned left, and the first woman literally yelled at me, "wrong way!" What is wrong with these people? Quest needs to take a look at their lack of customer service.

I was told they needed my debit card for charges that may not be covered by my insurance. When I left the location I checked and they had charged my card already. I called my bank to dispute that charge. Monday they charged my card again, I had to call the bank again over this unauthorized charge and had to have my card cancelled. This morning they tried to charge my card again without authorization. I will never do business with Quest again and my advice is to never provide them with your debit or credit card. I called their billing department and was told that they don't see the charges for about a week. Totally shady business practices!

She flipped up the sign to show me the tablet I didn't sign in on because it had "sorry we're closed" on top of it. She said she didn't do that, didn't know why it was done, but now it's too late. They should have honored my appointment because I was there on time and it was their error but they refused to help because it would put them past 4:30 when they ACTUALLY closed. They were so patient and explained everything before they did it. They were gentle and the second person helped to calm her and keep her distracted by being happy and excitedly asking about her stuffies, etc. The one performing the blood draw has lots of Hello Kitty which was lucky because my kid LOVES HK. I really sincerely appreciated the kindness and patience they showed. They were both very experienced working with kids and it really showed. Thank you!!
