Slow. Unhappy workers. TV in the waiting room is turned up too loud. Wait times are abysmal. Try somewhere else...

The girl instructed that we will be pointed where to sit at this time. I was a little uncomfortable. There was a lady sitting in a chair behind the desk no nothing no good morning just pointing. So after I got my chair, I sat there and I sat there so I was looking around and the finger pointer was the lady taking my blood. She rudely said yeah I'll be right over rudely I turned and I said to myself oh wow, so I watched her take her time and do her paperwork sorting it then she came over 10 minutes later put the paperwork down and said verify your name and birthdate. Then after I did, she said what arm again not very polite. I asked her to wear a mask and I think that's where it took a turn, but I did call over during the week and asked them if I request them to wear a mask. They said no problem so after she said what I was gonna leave and I said you are making me uncomfortable you're uncomfortable. Do you want someone else I said yes I do. She yelled across the way and asked her coworker. Can you come draw her because she's uncomfortable. Then she went back over and told everybody what happened and all of the people at the lab were staring at me and thank God the girl who came over to take my blood had a mask on because she was sick. I was there just a little too long and it was a little too rude I will never ever go back to this lab ever again. I have never experienced anything like this.

I have generally then waited about 15-20 minutes to be seen by a practitioner, which is very reasonable. This week I visited the clinic on Monday and again on Friday for a follow up. Everyone was kind, patient, good listeners and clear with Instructions. I was seen by a nurse during my first appointment and by a doctor for my follow up. Both were excellent and had great bed-side manners. The only reason I can not give 5 stars is because there was one nurse who came into my room (while I was being attended to by a nurses aid) and she started rummaging through the supply closet and complaining about missing items. She then ordered my nurses aide to come over to help her. I felt her behavior was rude and distracting to my treatment. Overall I feel confident in coming to this clinic for urgent care and believe I am treated appropriately and efficiently.

After swabbing me, I was told that they won't have the results until tomorrow. The doctor wrote me a script for 2 medications (1 was a controlled drug). The pharmacy was out of the controlled drug. I waited 2 hours for the doctor to get back to the pharmacy with a replacement... I ended up just heading home because I wasn't feeling well. 15 minutes later, the same doctor tells me to just buy some over the counter medicine. I don't think we should ever have an urgent care that does not have their own lab. I think a controlled drug should only be prescribed when absolutely necessary (couldn't be necessary, if an OTC is the substitute) Update: I have the flu and the doctor told me to discontinue using the amoxicillin (I never opened it, but now it's $11 down the drain because CVS won't do a refund)

I left a negative review two weeks ago after being treated rudely by one member of Perll's staff…read moreonly to see it removed shortly thereafter to be replaced by a lengthy review praising Perll written by someone who identified him or herself as the president of the lab. (BTW, how about just Managing Director as 'president' is more than a little bombastic) First of all, to have my review removed is highly unethical. What is the purpose of having a forum to review goods and services if one's voice is not heard? I going to assume, and I can't know for sure, that the removal was either at the behest or threat from; (1) One of the people I encountered at Perll; or (2) the person who posted a flattering picture of Perll on Yelp who could be the same person. Bottom line, I was treated in an aggressively rude manner by an employee in charge on a Saturday morning who was late in opening up while I waited and was told that they were not providing any diagnostic services that day. As I started to depart in my car another person attempted to apologize for the rude behavior, apparently acknowledging that I was treated so, by starting off by saying that the lab's pricing was "cheap". I don't select my medical services based on cost so this was a completely hollow, as well as irrelevant, argument. They may be fine 99% of the time but I will never use them.

For some, health care should be viewed as any other business, one governed by market forces. For others, health care should be a scientific enterprise, a means of expanding our knowledge of the human condition. At Perll Diagnostics, we think that, first and foremost, health care should be a means to help people. Our people believe in ethical practices, integrity, and service, and we prove that daily in a number of ways. First, we've made it a point to be convenient through offering a mobile phlebotomy service. Not everyone can take the time to visit a laboratory during the day. For those who can't, we make life easier by coming to them for blood testing and other services, no matter where they are. Second, we've made it a priority to always have a physician on-site at our laboratory. By doing that, there's always someone available with the proper qualifications to make medical decisions, be available for professional consultations and answer questions. Third, we've taken steps to offer the pinnacle of client service. When we perform medical testing, the results of the tests are available within 24 hours. For those who do not have any health insurance coverage, our pricing is fair and affordable for all. We believe in being as flexible as possible for both patients and doctors...
