My second visit to Patient First was even more excellent than my first visit nine months ago…read more This time I was able to see Dr. Sean Perrine, who is intelligent, personable, kind, patient and caring. Dr. Perrine suggested that I have the impacted earwax removed from both ears. Paige, a medical specialist in earwax removal, did a superb job to accomplish this complicated and time-consuming task. Dr. Perrine also prescribed an antibiotic for me that he called in to my pharmacy on record. The prescription was ready for pick up when I arrived. The wait time was less than five minutes because I was there when they opened at 8 AM on a Tuesday. I was unable to get an appointment with my family doctor that week. Pansinusitis should not be left untreated for too long, so I did the right thing by going to Patient First for superior medical care from a friendly, caring and knowledgeable staff. I would give Patient First a 23+ out of 10 ... fabulous ... fantastic and a life saver when a family doctor cannot provide immediate care. Not only was the 'poke' improperly executed, the wrong needle size was used, I told them my concerns beforehand with a new trainee attempting to draw my blood and told the "team lead' of my concerns. After I was in tears I expressed I was triggered by her harsh behavior and she went down the hall to call someone else, screaming "make her leave". I was turned away from this place for expressing my discomfort in their staff and the rude employee who made me feel unsafe. I told them I still had a urine test to do which didn't require a blood draw and left because the employees were completely incompetent and unable to coordinate a sufficient effort, they were devoid of any care. The technicians who have drawn my blood are exceptionally good at drawing blood and, for the past couple years, have been friendly -- obviously some more than others. I always schedule and appointment and have never waited more than five minutes. Last time, a couple months, I walked in the door and two technicians greeted me and invited me back before I had a chance to sit down. I was done in less than 10 minutes from the time I opened the door until I walked out. I have no complaints and, in fact, once noted an email address on the wall to make compliments -- or complaints -- and sent in some positive feedback. I got a friendly response very soon after and appreciated that. I imagine it's not the easiest job to work with different people who all have different expectations of their visit based upon why they are there and also prior experiences with medical appointments, but everyone I've seen has been professional and competent. The girl instructed that we will be pointed where to sit at this time. I was a little uncomfortable. There was a lady sitting in a chair behind the desk no nothing no good morning just pointing. So after I got my chair, I sat there and I sat there so I was looking around and the finger pointer was the lady taking my blood. She rudely said yeah I'll be right over rudely I turned and I said to myself oh wow, so I watched her take her time and do her paperwork sorting it then she came over 10 minutes later put the paperwork down and said verify your name and birthdate. Then after I did, she said what arm again not very polite. I asked her to wear a mask and I think that's where it took a turn, but I did call over during the week and asked them if I request them to wear a mask. They said no problem so after she said what I was gonna leave and I said you are making me uncomfortable you're uncomfortable. Do you want someone else I said yes I do. She yelled across the way and asked her coworker. Can you come draw her because she's uncomfortable. Then she went back over and told everybody what happened and all of the people at the lab were staring at me and thank God the girl who came over to take my blood had a mask on because she was sick. I was there just a little too long and it was a little too rude I will never ever go back to this lab ever again. I have never experienced anything like this.

My provider received the results in a timely manner (you never know if they're actually going to get them sometimes). I was able to see my results online.
