STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS QUEST IF YOU CARE ABOUT HOW YOU ARE TREATED. The staff , specifically…read moreMaggie who refused to provide her last name upon multiple requests, was RUDE, and GASLIT me after a HORRIBLE experience where I was literally stabbed with a large needle with no blood results to provide my Dr. who ordered the labs. Not only was the 'poke' improperly executed, the wrong needle size was used, I told them my concerns beforehand with a new trainee attempting to draw my blood and told the "team lead' of my concerns. After I was in tears I expressed I was triggered by her harsh behavior and she went down the hall to call someone else, screaming "make her leave". I was turned away from this place for expressing my discomfort in their staff and the rude employee who made me feel unsafe. I told them I still had a urine test to do which didn't require a blood draw and left because the employees were completely incompetent and unable to coordinate a sufficient effort, they were devoid of any care. IN SHORT, HERE THEY ARE RUDE , THE STAFF IS UNNECESSARILY AGGRESSIVE AND INCOMPETENT... WHEN YOU HAVE OTHER CHOICES , CHOOSE BETTER AND DO NOT GO HERE.

Today I walked into the Quest on Hartzdale Drive in Camp Hill, PA. I had just left the ENT and…read morefigured since I was out so I'll just get the labs now. I didn't realize they closed at 4 until after I had left and Googled simply because of how I was treated in there. Immediately upon walking in there, no one was the waiting room, no one! I began the check in portion per usual, didn't see any employee around. I was then greeted if we want to call it that for the sake of this review by Erika, not the most friendly at all! She immediately looked me right into my face and asked me if I had an appointment in the most annoyed tone. I said no I was a walk in. She then grabbed a business card and began to hand it to me to give me the whole spill on next time make an appointment etc. I said I've walked in before, why are you guys busy? I looked around the room and there was no one as I mentioned. I felt very pushed away by her and definitely picked up on her annoyance of me arriving 30 min before close (didn't know that then or honestly maybe I wouldn't have walked in). She was going on and on so rudely how appointments make it easier for them etc and make a smirk face I'm assuming to intentionally make me feel bad that I didnt have an appointment so I finally said Look, I'm aware of that but I'm also aware of my options as a patient here and walk in is one of them. I even took a photo on my phone of the screen to show no one was waiting ahead of me. She went into the back and I could hear her on a rant to her coworker back there. Making it as if I am a disgruntled patient when I literally just walked in for a service to be so rudely treated by someone that clearly doesn't like to work till the end of her shift. Unfortunately she also was the one drawling my labs. Super cold the entire time in the back, even said rudely "you gonna hold that" implying my gauze where she drew the blood. That was her only communication with me in the back room until I mentioned myself being a health care worker myself and how I never would speak to a patient the way she did. She went on how I was rude this and that. Rude for what? coming in and getting my blood drawn? Yes I got snippy back at this point after reminding her that the last time I was in this exact location for labs, I didnt have her I had Kirstin I believe her name is, supe friendly gal but that I remember Erika that same day complaining about the same similar things she seems to be annoyed about loudly. Quest not staffing the place, them being over worked, etc etc I GET THAT!!! But I AM NOT YOUR ENEMEY!! Take that aggression out on Quest not the ones paying Quests bills, The patients!! It's no wonder this place has only 3 star reviews. Every single time this women is so miserable in there. She also took it upon herself to let me know I am never allowed back. I am definitely escalating this to various places but I think someone needs to remind her the aggression towards patients is completely uncalled for. Even her annoyance with me just coming in keep that to yourself . You have 30 min left of your shift and you treat someone so horribly right off the bat when you don't even know what that person is going through. Image just getting a cancer diagnosis , or some major life event and you're greeted with that just because you came in for the blood work. The world is so heavy right now and this confrontation was totally unnecessary but I will not let her stand there and speak to me the way she was without speaking back for myself. I also have a slight bruise already. She pushed the needle into my arm so hard. She clearly is not someone that should be working with patients. We take an oath to treat folks with dignity and respect and I did not get that there today. Normally I don't complain as I know how very spread thin health care is but wow!! They're overworked I get it but it's not fair to project that onto the patient.

The girl instructed that we will be pointed where to sit at this time. I was a little uncomfortable. There was a lady sitting in a chair behind the desk no nothing no good morning just pointing. So after I got my chair, I sat there and I sat there so I was looking around and the finger pointer was the lady taking my blood. She rudely said yeah I'll be right over rudely I turned and I said to myself oh wow, so I watched her take her time and do her paperwork sorting it then she came over 10 minutes later put the paperwork down and said verify your name and birthdate. Then after I did, she said what arm again not very polite. I asked her to wear a mask and I think that's where it took a turn, but I did call over during the week and asked them if I request them to wear a mask. They said no problem so after she said what I was gonna leave and I said you are making me uncomfortable you're uncomfortable. Do you want someone else I said yes I do. She yelled across the way and asked her coworker. Can you come draw her because she's uncomfortable. Then she went back over and told everybody what happened and all of the people at the lab were staring at me and thank God the girl who came over to take my blood had a mask on because she was sick. I was there just a little too long and it was a little too rude I will never ever go back to this lab ever again. I have never experienced anything like this.
