It's free, very we'll lit, seldom over crowded, and the locals are all very chill and welcoming. The pros. Two flawless slightly scary but not ridiculous bowls. Half decent flow section. (My favorite part) The cons. One half of the park is wasted in a pointless bank to mellow for even the flippiest of flip tricks. Street course is a half assed after thought. Wear your helmet. The cops drive by often and it's a 300 dollar ticket for not wearing your helmet, which is stupid, but it's reality. I swear I see at least a few kids every week getting tickets for not wearing their helmets. Must be nice to be rich I guess. as for me, I'll be wearing a helmet.

Mostly the only thing you'll be skating here is the step up, banks, bowls and flow section. Be very careful. The community here is poor so city hall tells police to constantly harass the kids who skate here with unreasonable tickets going upwards of up to 450$ if not more. Not only tickets but they get violent at times. Take care of your kids! This city extort money. Explain how no helmet ticket costs more than texting and driving or speeding tickets. ?? Illogical. Note: I always wear full pads but you may get ticket even so for dumb things such as just standing in there or standing outside. You don't even have to have a skateboard. If they don't like you, they will harass.

We're talking…read more4 different bowls: a mini bowl with no coping, a beginner combi with banked rollins / 2, 3, and 4 foot high coping, a fairly spacious flow bowl ranging from about 3.5 to 6 feet tall, and a beautiful big combi bowl with 4, 7, and 9 foot high coping (deep is a mellow round bowl). Then you have two separate street sections with a wide variety of banks, boxes, ledges, stairs, blocks, and rails (the smaller street section shares space with the noping mini bowl). One of the best parks I've found so far for learning new tricks, since there are so many different obstacles at varying levels of difficulty. Skate shop has great prices, didn't notice them gouging and upping everything during Covid like many places seem to have done. Bought a new setup there and ended up paying a bit less than I was expecting for the quality of the parts! Employees are all super friendly and the culture/vibe of the park is great, too. Easily my favorite place to skate these days.

A few small issues with maintenance in the bowl/pool don't stop this from being an incredible park…read more The flow section has a ton of options for lines, including a spine to transfer over (or a ramp over the side of the spine, if you have the speed for it and don't want to/know how to spine transfer). The entrance starts with a nice bank to roll down, followed by some nice transition ranging from about 3 to 5 feet. The middle section has a much taller bit going up to at least 8 feet, and the deep end of the bowl is a solid 6 or 7 feet throughout, with a nice variety of hips, corners, and pockets to keep you powering through at full speed to go back around for another lap. There isn't quite as much street to this park, but what it does have is still pretty solid. If you like transition skating, you'll definitely enjoy this (fairly large) park.

Park is clean and there are clean tables to sit out (both covered and uncovered). There's also a skate park that older kids seem to enjoy. There are lots of trees for shade and lots of grassy areas. The only downfall would be that the jungle gyms aren't covered/shaded so they could be hot during summer.

There is a beautiful monument for Veterans. They have a mailbox type thing, where you can add memory items. I imagine in the future they will open it up and show what stuff was like in our time? There seems to be a community center or senior center within the park. We didn't go in the actual building but we could see that there was a gym inside. There are some beautiful areas and we saw someone doing an actual professional photoshoot. The grounds are definitely perfect for that. Plenty of parking available.

We came here on a Wednesday around 5 for some Pickleball. Our friends had arrived about an hour…read moreearlier than that and were able to get a court. There was about 6 to 8 courts I believe. They were definitely full and people kept coming in and out there was a lot of games going on. This park has clean restrooms and two play set. There was one homeless person sleeping at the men's restroom but he wasn't bothering anyone. I have a feeling this will be a frequent place that we play Pickleball seeing as how there's not very many courts in the surrounding area.
