Over the years I have played softball here and it has always felt safe. Today I decided to just sit in the car and listen to music while eating take out. It was peaceful and the newly snow capped mountains were so beautiful.

One of the playgrounds and the beautiful grassy area with lots of trees.

This park is so cute! I loved that the playground area is shaded and fenced in. I took my granddaughters here and they had the best time. It's super clean and so beautiful and shady. Definitely one of our new favorites.

Only reviewing the hockey rink at this time. Although the park isn't all that big with standard amenities in general. Came to the park on the 4th of July to bring my kids and nephews for some holiday roller hockey. Parking is best either on Doane (Southside) for shade or on Guilford (Westside) which has a walkway up to the rink. For the most part the rink is in fair to good condition. It seems to be open to the public at all times, and their is signage about official hours. If you go, make sure to bring a broom and a dust pan. The west side of the rink collects a lot of pine needles from the trees over hanging at both the northwest corner of the rink but even more so in the southwest corner. There are no nets at the time of this review. It's unclear if they put them out during regular business hours or if they have them at all. There are however, 4 drum trash cans that people obviously use as goals. The skating surface is smooth, no real issues there. The boards are mostly in good shape. There is a cracked one at the north end there are a couple panes of plexiglass missing on the west side. Overall this isn't a terrible place to play. If your just looking to practice skating with a puck on a standard hockey sized area, you're good to. If you want an actual game, you may need to bring actual nets or just deal with the trash cans. There are signs that refer to claremonthockey.org but nothing comes up online so I'm afraid that league may now be defunct. I've added photos to help update this portion of the park.

Nice quiet park. Well maintained green lawns and decent restrooms. My son practices soccer here during the week and it seems to get pretty pack during the evenings. There's always 2-3 teams of soccer practicing during the evenings, so that means there's at least 50 to 60 kids at the park during these times. Plus there's a roller skating ring and a softball field and they seem to be used during these times as well. So this is a quiet park during the day but pretty active during the spring/summer evenings. Overall I give this park 5 stars cause of it's well maintained green turf :-)

Great little park! New equipment. No homeless. Looks clean. Plenty of tree shade. Looks like a little skating rink and a toddler area on opposite side.

this from the website. it really doesn't tell you much, does it?

Love this park! Very neighborly, and inviting. Wish they would open up the fountain for the kids again during summer...

I think it's meant more for the residents that live in this area but it is open to the public. There isn't much here but everything looks fairly new. Most of the items are probably best for little ones between the ages of two and three. There's a little train with a small slide, a rocking motorcycle, and two sets of swings. There are few benches here but nothing that would accommodate a group gathering or anything of that sort. There is a train track right next to the playground but it's blocked off so there's no danger of someone accidentally falling on tracks. Only real issue is the noise when a train goes by. There weren't any trains going by while I was here but this is something to take into consideration if your child is afraid of loud noise. The playground doesn't have much shade either so it's rather uncomfortable on a hot day. There are few parking spots by the playground marked "GUEST" but not sure if you need special permit to park there. I didn't see any posted signs. I came here on a Sunday afternoon and the area was completely empty.

NOTE: The parking stalls right next to the park are marked "Guest" and require a permit from the…read morehousing association. I haven't seen it done, but they do threaten24 hour enforcement to tow your car if you park there without a permit. The curbside parking in front of the houses are actually public property, so you can park there with a permit. This is a nice little park that's well maintained. A couple of benches, table and grills, enough street parking, lush green grass, but not much in the way of shady trees. There are a couple of swing sets and a play train/apparatus. The surface is both sand (swings) and rubber (train). The big drawback is the proximity to the train tracks (Metrolink SB line + freight). The tracks are fenced off so your kids are safe (but don't leave them unsupervised!). So now it's matter of context... do train horns scare your kids, or do you convince them that trains are cool and that the park is a great trainspotting location? PS - The map is inaccurate, it's at the end of W 1st Street, west of Indian Hill. PPS - It is NOT accessible from Cambridge (lest you trespass onto the railroad right-of-way and hop the wire fence, which ends about 15 feet short of Cambridge).

Las Flores park is spread out and has 2 play areas, aquatic center, tennis courts, baseball field, soccer area, volley ball pit and even a horseshoe field. I found it very difficult to find out any info on the aquatic center and it's hours so good luck searching the city website for any info. The only thing I could find was the community services for number to ask for more info: 909-596-8700 There are covered picnic tables and a restroom in the northeastern side of the park. Unfortunately there are no restrooms near the smaller new playground and you'll have to trek over to the other side.

I bring my granddaughter here for free swim time during the summers which is every Friday from 2pm-4:30pm starting in June/July-mid August. The fee is $5 a person. Teens serve as the staff here from front counter check in, snack bar staff and as life guards, and they do an excellent job! The pool is super clean and well maintained. Their changing rooms have a large shower/rinse off area and lockers. There's is a large shallow and deep end. Shaded bleachers are perfect for the adults to keep a watch over their kids. The city offers many aquatics classes here during the summer. Book early because classes fill up fast! If only they were open during summers more than just Friday's for feee swim!
