Then, one morning someone (who never identified herself as an employee of the mall) told us that we couldn't stand and look in the doorway of a room that was vacant, and had their door open to the walkway. We were insulted, then continued on our walk. About a week later two security/management staff approached us and told us that we were banned from Montclair Place for a year, due to the communication. There was no follow-up, phone call or written letter, even after it was asked for. By the way, we never made a complaint about the situation to the management office because we thought it would be petty and I'm only writing this review because I received an email from Yelp asking if I would review the Montclair Plaza. !!!!

The Christmas decorations were wonderful and this past weekend they had the Lunar New Year celebration, with many additional pop-up vendors in the street (closed off for pedestrians). Judging by the crowd turnout, I would say that this was a successful event, and I hope they add more events like this going forward. Many great restaurants, shops, craft stores and plaza entertainment. Water fountains and train rides for the kids (and some adults too). This marketplace is located at the heart of Chino Hills Trade area. It's on the north side of the city with easy access to two major freeways, SR 60 and SR-71. Besides the businesses mentioned above, other major tenants include Lowe's, PetSmart, America's Tire, UPS, GNC, Coldstone, Wendy's, etc. There is also a section that's going through a redevelopment phase due to businesses that have closed down within the last couple years. I don't live near the Chino Hills area, but I am always open to venturing out to different cities and seeing what they have to offer especially for dining. This marketplace offers quite a bit. Tons of free parking on both sides. They are conveniently right off Fwy 10. You can tackle two centers in one day's visit. MS includes our major retailers, Home Depot and Hobby Lobby, that anchors this center plus an impressive mix of other national and local businesses as shown below. I have been to this center primarily to shop at Home Depot, Staples, and HoneyBaked Ham. I have only eaten at Egg N Bird. I have not found myself supporting any other eateries from here. I'll have to check out Ahipoki Bowl, China One, Ono Hawaiian BBQ, and Subway one day. As for the other non-food establishments, honestly, I don't see myself utilizing them except for AT&T Mobility. Most of the center is in Upland, but a portion of it is in Claremont which I did not know until now. No wonder Dog Haus has an address with Claremont as their city. I learned something new today. I like this shopping center because of its location as it's conveniently located right off the freeway. It has Whole Foods 365, Chipotle, Corky's Restaurant, Dog Haus, CVS Pharmacy, Starbucks, US Bank, UPS Store, and a good handful more businesses. Unfortunately, they lost MOD Pizza which I was sad to find out. I was just getting into MOD Pizza. I have yet to offer my patronage and support to all of its businesses.
