In the one year that Jen and I have been dating, this place has improved and provided many fun days and nights. The Christmas decorations were wonderful and this past weekend they had the Lunar New Year celebration, with many additional pop-up vendors in the street (closed off for pedestrians). We enjoyed walking, talking and exploring all the additional vendors and also the people (and dog) watching was top notch. Judging by the crowd turnout, I would say that this was a successful event, and I hope they add more events like this going forward. Many great restaurants, shops, craft stores and plaza entertainment. Water fountains and train rides for the kids (and some adults too). Whether you come here to dine, shop or just hang out and enjoy the weather with others, this place is a solid choice.

For food I got a Korean corn dog from two hands corn dogs and went to Charlie's to get a cherry coke. The value of the food and other stuff at the mall is average for a mall. The service is pretty friendly. Also standard for a mall. Overall I rate this place 5 stars. It's your average mall. I recommend coming here!

Then, one morning someone (who never identified herself as an employee of the mall) told us that we couldn't stand and look in the doorway of a room that was vacant, and had their door open to the walkway. We were insulted, then continued on our walk. About a week later two security/management staff approached us and told us that we were banned from Montclair Place for a year, due to the communication. There was no follow-up, phone call or written letter, even after it was asked for. By the way, we never made a complaint about the situation to the management office because we thought it would be petty and I'm only writing this review because I received an email from Yelp asking if I would review the Montclair Plaza. !!!!

I don't live near the Chino Hills area, but I am always open to venturing out to different cities and seeing what they have to offer especially for dining. This marketplace offers quite a bit. I look forward to seeing more of its expansion. May it bring lots of revenue for the City of Chino Hills. Thank you Crossroads Marketplace!
