I called and was told the wait was about 3 months and that I could bring my furniture. I had a particular fabric pattern and colors in mind for the reupholstery, but I was told that I could select from fabric at the location. Upon my arrival I was met by the owner, LeRoyal, who would also be doing the work. He evaluated my ottoman and gave me a quote detailing the work to be done. My 8-year-old niece was with me and it was around closing time, so I'm sure he was exhausted, but he took time and interest to share the history of his beginnings from his service in the US Army to the honing of his craft. We got to see a section of his workroom where transformations happen; where furniture gets a makeover and becomes revitalized; where antiques and heirlooms and favorites are refurbished and reconditioned to carry on their purposes and have a chance at being passed on for many years. LeRoyal has provided service for prominent figures of US and local government, celebrities, dignitaries, community and neighborhood people. And he's yielded the same level of quality service to all. Much of his business comes from "word of mouth" - not reviews. Certainly, anyone who sees his finished products would highly recommend him. We needed to have two chair cushions re-stuffed. When I went to pick up the cushions after three weeks, they had not even started them...said they forgot. They said come back tomorrow! They quoted 60.00 per cushion (2) for a total of 120. When we picked them up they charged 125 per cushion... no notice, no call... just pay me more for a job they were three weeks late on. I recommend staying away from them as they are not trustworthy as they don't keep their word regarding pricing.
