They are made of white walnut ad are quite exquiste in style and very functional. Now the cane on them requires to be redone by hand weaving because they are not purely rectangular or square but trapezoidal. They have needed this for about eight years and we have not been able to find anyone in the area or in Phoenix that could do this. Bob Blanck the owner of this relatively new business to the area took a look at them and took up the challenge to re-weave these chairs. And that he and his staff did in a par excellent manner. We absolute love them and the re-weave is every-bit as accurate and good as the original artisans did about one hundred fifty years ago in the old country. My hats off to this business and I most highly recommend them for all of your detailed re-furbishing re-storing needs on fine furniture. We knew this project would require time so we worked with Bob to allow him and his staff the time to do this one right and work them in during slower hours so it did take the agreed time of about four months to complete, but the results are again well worth it, and the estimate was met.

I called and spoke with Zack (didn't mention our previous interaction at another property) and we made an appointment and he showed up when he said he would - a good start considering previous experience. He then advised me that he didn't have material on his truck for the repair, but would have the screens ready later in the week by Friday. Friday morning comes and I've not heard anything from Zack. Around 1p I called The Mobile Screen Shop and left a message asking about the screens and for a call back. Zack returned my call about an hour later, apologizing for not being in touch - I kind of felt (based on what he said) that my screens were forgotten about, but said Steve would be by my house later with them. Steve did in fact show up as promised with the screens - all good. In the end, it all worked out, yet I still can't help but feel like this is a side gig for these folks or something? I feel like if I hadn't called to follow up yesterday afternoon I would still be without my screens.
