I had a guy ding my model Y pretty bad on Labor Day in a parking lot and luckily my sentry cam caught it on video. It was pretty difficult to find a shop that would be willing to work on teslas but after calling the Tesla dealership they informed me they do not work on auto body but they recommended me to this shop and said this was where they send their own vehicles for body work. When I drove up I was a little relieved to see a ton of teslas in the garage being worked on so it was an indication they know how to work on the vehicle. The guy working the shop (I assume the owner) was very thorough and did an amazing job and my car! Communicative through out the entire process and wanted to make sure everything was perfect before I left. Even cleaned my car and left it shining and with a full charge before i picked it up. One of the first times I've ever picked up my car looking cleaner than I dropped it off. I high recommend them, and if you were working with your insurance as well, they're familiar with the process (probably more than the instance companies themselves) on how to get the entire process flowing. New Tesla glass roof got damaged in car wash and Updated Auto Body was recommended by the Tesla Service Center for body work. They did a great job on fixing the metal roof frame and maintained good communication throughout the repair process. However, their third party glass vendor replacing the glass roof initially did a poor job in the seal. I discovered the poor seal over the winter while in Los Angeles where there were a few weeks of heavy rain which ended up leaking into the car. Although I could not return to Vegas for another month, I reached back out to Updated Auto Body and their owner Mike personally saw to it that I got the glass resealed at a local Tesla service center near me. He personally called me throughout the process and made sure I was able to get it fixed. I could tell they truly care about their customers and went above and beyond to make it right. It was hassle free. They even reimbursed me for a car cover I needed to get while waiting to get service. Since then, they've told me they now use a different glass vendor. Can't say enough to commend the staff here. Both jobs they have done for us were minor cosmetic repairs that the dealers did not want to even give a quote on (i.e. no big insurance claim/not a high enough profit margin). However, when I picked up my vehicle there was paint spray on the leather seats in various places. I was rear-ended, and brought my car to Updated Autobody. They specialize in aluminum bodies (Jaguars, LRs, etc). I am very pleased with their service and their work! Aside from the insurance work they did, I asked for a seperate work order to repaint a faded rear fender. Their work was impeccable. Their staff was professional, competent, courteous and knowledgeable. Color matching? My factory paint is 14 years old, and I cannot see any difference between between recent and original regardless of lighting. I am thrilled with UAB and their quality of work and service. Stopped by to get a estimate and they told me I had to get a estimate from my insurance company first because that's how my insurance company works. I tried to tell her that my insurance company told me to go to a body shop to get a estimate and she told me it don't work that way. I left there and got a estimate right away from another body shop with no problem wow!! She had a attitude from the time I walked in the door and I didn't even know why. Very bad customer service in my opinion. I am a mechanic for the state of Nevada and just got off work so I was a little dirty when I walked in but you shouldn't judge someone by how they look or treat them bad, you never know who you are dealing with. I had damage to my 2022 Tesla Model S rocker panel and Tesla provided the part but recommended I take it to Updated because there was damage to the frame that needed repair before installing the new rocker. We had Updated Autobody repair our Volvo XC90 after a crash. (They're 1 of 2 Volvo certified shops in town) There were some hiccups, however the reason for the 5 starts is that Titan didn't stop until it was 100% fixed. We never got the run around nor did they try to avoid us. It took a while and the repair wasn't cheap, but my car is nearly perfect again. They even had Volvo themselves inspect the vehicle. I'm happy and if I ever need body work again, I hope I can have Titan help us. read more

A sheared passenger-side mirror by a truck needed triple-paint job and parts and luckily was paid for by the driver's insurance. Last year, a mirror replacement on another auto cost $1200 so grateful for the repair and extra touch-up on rear side panel. This place was AWESOME from start to finish! My insurance had given me a choice of places to consider and after reviewing the options, I "settled" on Updated Auto Repair...and I am SO GLAD I did!! I went in to get an estimate and was a little nervous from the area seeming a little sketch, but do NOT judge this book by it's cover! Arnuld was the guy I was first introduced to and he was the same guy who called me to update me on progress AND who shook my hand after handing me my keys because my vehicle was done! If there's ONE thing that's a weakness of mine, it's for sure that I like to feel that hometown, small town, give you the time of day, not too busy for the small stuff, kind of vibe and Arnuld has it! Now listen to this, I went in for an estimate, right? Not only did I get an estimate but I was able to go ahead and leave my car for them to start work on THAT DAY (They didn't need to wait on my insurance to approve because it was a recommended place). But wait...there's more. They estimated my car to be done on the 26th, but I am writing this review TODAY because I have my car back RIGHT NOW because it was done a WEEK EARLY!! YAAAASSSS!!! As a rideshare driver, this is the best thing ever!! Oh yeah, and the work is good! Check out the pictures to see for yourself! But wait...THERE'S MORE. Their work is for real backed with a lifetime guarantee. So if any of the parts they fixed go wrong or are messed up, they will fix it until it's right! I cannot recommend Updated Auto. My Jaguar XK-R was in an accident in Los Angeles. I called Updated Auto and informed them of the accident and told them the radiator burst, leaked fluid, and it could not be driven. They helped me locate a towing company which brought the car to Las Vegas. Then my car sat and sat and sat. Finally being "fixed". I went to pick it up and found that the front vent assembly wasn't painted to match the rest of the car. So home I went. A week or so later I got a call that the car was ready to go. I went and picked it up. To be fair, the paint and repairs looked good. I was happy. I got in the car and drove it not even 2 miles and it stopped. The radiator was not fixed. It had no fluid. It caused so much damage it would cost $9,000 to fix. This was on top of $13,000 in repairs. I had the car towed back to Updated Auto and the owner shoves the repair list in my face and says, "we didn't repair the radiator, it's not our fault. You must have done something to the car." I have owned this car for years and took great care of it. The shop knew the radiator needed fixed and they didn't do it. Apparently, they never drove it around after "fixing" everything otherwise they would have had the engine freeze on them. So the car is towed back to my house and there are visible scratches on it. Previously with this shop, after a guy turned into my parked car and a door and front panel had to be fixed, the service rep, Paul Hoang, tried to get me to take my car to one of his friends and have the work done there instead of Updated Auto. That should have been a lesson but I was happy with that repair so I figured Updated Auto would do a good job on the repair after the Los Angeles accident. Nope! I will never return to Updated Auto and will NEVER recommend them to anyone, including my worst enemy. I'm still considering suing them. Feel free to message me if you want more details. read more

My husband and I brought our Land Rover here for a collision repair. They fixed the car within a week, which was sooner than we expected, they did a very good job; unfortunately when we got home we realized that the rear tailgate camera wasn't working, so my husband reached them and they said to take the car back for inspection, which we did. Dante was the person in charge of the repair and he said it wasn't their fault and that as a courtesy he took the car the dealer to get a second opinion. Whenever we would reach him for follow ups, he was rude when answering the phone and blaming others for this issue. I had to reach the office directly and asked to deal with a different person because this guy was taking a very aggressive approach. Denise was great at listening to the problem and referred us to Titan who finally got the work done and fixed. I want to be as objective as possible that is why I am giving a 3 star, but unfortunately I don't see my self referring this business and going back in the future. read more

Brand new Volvo S90 taken in for slight damage. Paid to have all parts replaced not repaired. Picked it up after over two weeks - it looked good at first glance. Upon closer inspection I can see that the new fender and the door are way out of alignment with one another. It looks nothing like the other side of the car that was not hit. So incredibly disappointing that they would give me my car back that way - who checks this stuff? It makes me question whether or not they checked the frame as I was told they would. Why else would the car parts not line up? USAA stands behind their repairs so I have opted to try another shop as this formerly trusted shop has lost my faith. Everyone there was very nice, but keep your nice and fix my car properly. If you have a shitty old car and don't care if the parts and labor are half-@$$ - ok. But if you have a nice vehicle that you want it done right, I do not recommend. read more

Hesitate on putting this review up but I never got a call back from the shop after I attempted to call them a few times and no one bothered to call me back, I had left my beat head phones in the car and I noticed them missing when we picked up our car almost two months after being in the shop for repairs, we were also missing our cup holder coasters. Being a prestige place you would think they would at least call there customers back. I must disagree when it comes to mentioning this shop never at any time refused to write me an estimate, otherwise I wouldn't have had to ask for an estimate three times and leaving empty handed so I'll explain below. As described on my original post, "He didn't try letting me know of any other way to receive an estimate." I'm not sure if you were the person who spoke with me but I'll describe it as if it was you. After I asked you the first time, correct as described on my original post, you did tell me you would have to see the other insurance's estimate first. I told you I did not have one. I then asked you a second time and you told me the same and I started explaining to you that on my last visit, I was there for an estimate even though I didn't bring one. They were still able to provide me with one. When I asked you the third time, you offered me your business card instead and told me to call you tomorrow. Remember? I declined the card and thanked you because I've carried an Updated Auto business card in my wallet for the last 5 yrs. which has the same phone number. Me filling out an estimate form, verbally having to ask you for it three times, telling me to call back tomorrow and leaving empty handed does show you REFUSING to write me an estimate and you going against NRS 487.6875. Was a filled out estimate form and me asking once not enough to receive an estimate? Why did I have to ask a second and third time? Yet, somehow you say you didn't refuse? I do not recall at anytime you attempting to walk out to take a look at my vehicle nor mentioning you would do the estimate. At what point did you "attempted to provide me with one?" After I had left or until I returned with someone else's estimate? I do not know of what else needed to be communicated on your end as I was clear on my end with a filled estimate form and me asking for an estimate. However, if you were not the person who spoke with me, most likely you must have been told otherwise and perhaps, that person should communicate better with you. Therefore, you were not there to listen to our conversation nor witnessed the refusal of my estimate. I hope you are able to understand this second response instead of making my original review seem like a lie by mentioning you "ATTEMPTED" when in fact, you didn't. If you still believe you honestly attempted to provide me with an estimate, please inform me once again so that I may seek legal advice and they might be able to clarify this for you to get a better understanding. You may also choose not to reply which I'll accept as a thumbs up to reach out for legal advice. I'm glad you asked about Nev. Rev. Stat. § 200.620 It's actually more of a tip toward future clients with questions for estimates and auto repairs that happen to stop by at this shop. Just so there's no need to communicate better next time and if so, they can have audio which they may reference to later. Where do I even start? Sorry for this being a novel. My Golf R was in a small rear end collision right after the first of the year, (yes I know I'm late posting this, just forgot until I came across photos just now). I asked around for recommendations in the local car community and everyone said to see Randy over at Updated Autobody. With so many suggestions I figured it was the place to go!! I was originally quoted 2wks for the car to be repaired which was reasonable.. I checked it in, picked up my rental car and the nightmare began. At first all was good, Randy was very good at communicating about the progress and was helpful with any questions that I had. One of my biggest things being that the correct LED tail lights were installed and not halogen ones as there's quite a price difference and I didn't want cheaper parts out back in. Especially since these cars are specially coded for LED lights. About a week of the car being there, I couldn't get ahold of Randy anymore. They always told me he wasn't available and had me talk to someone else. Turns out Randy was no longer working there, and they just didn't want to tell me that. It was delay, after delay, after delay. Finally, after nearly a month and a half they called and said They wanted me to come down and inspect the paint as they said it wasn't perfect, So I made the 45 minute drive down there and Immediately the first thing I noticed was they tried to cheap out on halogen tail lights and not replace them with LED lights like it had. The paint did not match at all, but after it being there for so long I was willing to look past that. I asked if they could install the old damaged tail lights as they still worked, then I could come back when the new lights arrived and they could install them. They agreed and told me they would finish putting the car back together and I could come pick it up in a few hours. A few hours later they tell me it's ready for pickup just before closing so I go down there, First thing I noticed when I got into the car was the hatch said it was open, I told them it was saying it was open and they realized they needed to adjust the sensor and it would be a few minutes. No problem, just happy to have my car back. So they adjust the sensor, the warning finally goes away we're good to go! Running late to work, I leave the parking lot. I immediately notice a bad grinding noise.. As well as a terrible squeak over any little bump. I pull over into a parking lot and look under the car, My exhaust was grinding on my driveline, and into the frame of the car. I call them, they tell me to bring it back tomorrow and they'll get me another rental if need be... Irritating but whatever. The next morning (Friday) I prepare to make the drive back to the shop, I then notice my rear wiper is installed backwards, so instead of wiping the glass it's scratching the shit out of my freshly painted hatch instead.. As well as my "R" badge was missing.. Add that to my list of things for them to fix. I bring it there, they put it up on a lift and call me out there. They tried to tell me it wasn't their fault and they didn't touch the exhaust and it had to have been that way previously. Tried to tell me they weren't going to fix it because they didn't touch it even though they called and told me they were removing the exhaust to fix the unibody. The tech then gets really angry with me, as I wasn't about to swallow the bill to fix something that they messed up. They finally agree to fix it, and say they'll have to send it out to an exhaust specialist because they can't do it and I'll have to come back Monday to pick it up which was whatever as I was expecting for there to be a loaner car or something for me to drive home. Nope. Thank god we thought to bring two vehicles and I didn't need to have a car that weekend. I come back Monday and the car is FINALLY good to go, they said they fixed the exhaust, turned the wiper around, and installed the badge in its correct place. I look under the car and the exhaust looks good. So awesome good to go. I drive off, happy to have my pride and joy back. But a few things I noticed over time were, there were tons of broken clips so things rattled, one even laying in the rear door pocket. There was also a small rip in my back leather seat which I knew wasn't there before as nobody had ever been back there but I knew that I couldn't "prove" they did it so... There was also a dent in the rear hatch which I noticed the same day I picked it up.. At this point I didn't even care, I would just deal with it, no way in hell I was taking it back there again. read more

Updated auto reminds me of that old saying "never trust business people that smiles to much"! So I brought my Bentley here without doing a lot of research on other companies to fix my A/C. After learning Las Vegas I found they over charged me by at least $600. So I just let it go because I was happy to have cool air amongst 120 degree desert heat. This time I decided to shop around first so I could have my air filters replaced. Can you believe this MoFos tried to charge me $350 to replace 4 air filters that I already bought off of eBay. What the fuck! I went on You tube and they showed it only needed about 5 minutes and a wrench. On top of that they lied and blame the high price saying that they had to Restart the system as well. I went to "Diamond Collusion Center" and watched for 3 days in a row how the guys here fixed my car the best way and did an amazing job in 5th of the price ! Don't bring your car here they should not be a Tesla authorized body shop they are nice till you leave your car- then nobody knows anything or returns your call. I'm 100% sure they disconnected my phone from my car but I could still see the car on my other devices they switched some thing on my trunk-my device showed the trunk open and drivers door open for hours and it was the passenger door that needed repair. I don't even think these are my tires I was at discount tire on Monday for a flat repair- I'm going back to see if they see the patch. And the repair was not professional I can still see where the door dent was there was still the compound in the door trim and handle and 2 small scratches and I don't understand why they could not get tesla paint because this paint does not match in better sunlight from the side it looks shiny sparkly like a clown car. Who knows what else they switched don't come to updated auto unless you want them to pick apart your car - I will be reporting this to better business bureau and to tesla since now I have to go there and pay out of pocket to get my car door fixed and painted to match the rest of the car- I don't trust this business - very disappointed my car is new 2023 and it was not cheap but they fixed it like it was. Had an issue in Las Vegas on a Friday at nighttime but luckily I was able to call AAA to tow my car to the nearest partner mechanic by my hotel. I checked the hours and the shop was supposed to be open at 9AM the next day so I left it in the lot. Next day I'm up early and head over and wait for over 40 minutes and no one is in the shop. I had to take my car with a leaking water pump to the next nearest mechanic and luckily had my issue fixed there. read more
