Since Bay is closing down for a while, this would be one of the last reviews. I went on the 2nd…read morelast day of the closing clearance and most of the stuff are already gone. There were still some fixtures left unsold, mainly mannequins, clothing racks, and some display stands. I was surprised how much inventory The Bay could get rid of. The jewelry section had a lot of people, but even if those cannot be sold on the last day, I'm sure it won't be wasted. Maybe if more sales event were done before getting bankrupted would have saved them. Now that Canadian Tire bought them out, it would be interesting to see what will be done to the store in the future when they choose some to reopen. I bought a dawn feather jacket from the online store around Dec. The shipping was pretty fast, like within 2 days. The quality was good, very light, but still very warm when I went out on the colder days. I got the black colour as it's the only colour left available. $110 for the dawn jacket was a steal. I really do hope they make good use of the real estate.

I would give it 5 stars if…read morethey didn't replace their lovely cafeteria on the 8th floor and their original food hall in the basement. I literally cried when they closed their cafeteria on the 8th floor and having gone there regularly for years, it was sad they replaced it an empty event space. I hated how they replaced their food service with Olivieri & Bonancini and going upscale was their downfall. The Pusateri's in the basement now overpriced and not as good as their original food hall, which catered to everyday people but now it's an overpriced upscale food place. But I love the clothes floors and the other departments. It's sad other Bay stores are closed but I feel fortunate this store is staying open and I will cherish it with all my heart and I hope it never closes.

(im fully willing to accept that im projecting the anger felt about my fat dome.) anyhow, they had those fargo hats with the flaps in a few different styles, some simple bowl toques that are in style these days (overpriced anywhere you go in my opinion) and a few caps here and there. all pretty cool and though not all styles agreed with me (we are talking taste wise here not swelled noggin), it was nice to see the variety. for about 60 or so dollars you could pick up a leather belt with an impressive buckle. the beauty of this belt is that once youve picked the right leather, first of all you can mix and match, because the belts and buckles are sold separately, and secondly, you can always come back for an alternate buckle (or buy as many buckles as you like at the same time i suppose). there were some really cool baseball tee shirts with those 3/4 arms that were very very thin and weathered in some way where patches of it looked thicker in material and some parts were much thinner. great shirt, but itd be a shirt id wear once in a while when i knew i was doing something nowhere near related to a game of baseball. the long sleeve collared shirts also stood out to me, with varied styles, nice patterns and fabrics. the jackets seemed not to stand out in the same way. all in all, i enjoyed this shop, will come here again, probably to buy a belt first and i look forward to their continued success.

I went in for a Color Analysis, Body Analysis, and Makeup Consultation. I chose her because of her many years of experience. She has been in the industry for 17 years so far! I received more than I thought I would. Lynda goes into detail into the "Why", which I found very engaging. On top of all that, I really enjoyed working with her. She's very charismatic and fun to work with. After my session, I receive a personal style booklet and a color wallet that I can take with me when shopping. I'm truly excited to choose clothes that are better suited for me. I highly recommend Lynda! If you're feeling hesitant, she is available to answer any questions you may have before committing to the service.

I admit that I was skeptical at first but with Lynda's abundance of knowledge, inspiration and guidance, I am really looking forward to making appropriate changes with my new color palette. The more I look at my swatches, the more enthusiastic I get - truly. I can't thank Lynda enough for 'the wake-up call'. I would also like to add that over and above her area of expertise, Lynda is bright, sincere and especially amiable. I highly recommend her for a Color Analysis. You will not be disappointed!
