She asked about Nancy, and I informed her that she's home with the Deep Cleaning crew, or she would be sitting next to me here. We met Hailey a few years back when we came here for their Cheeseburger & Fries Special. She has received many Dollar-Bow-Tie Awards. Back in 2023, Hailey was also "Miss San Angelo, Twin Peaks". I forgot the name of the other Bartender, and I placed my drink order, a Modelo Draft, which was placed before me real quick, in a Cold Glass Mug. Hailey handed me the Veterans Day Menu, and I decided on the Smoked Chicken Street Tacos; Smoked Chicken, shredded, on Three Doubled-Up Warm Corn Tortillas, Pico de Gallo, diced Onion, and Cilantro. Served with Fire Roasted Salsa, Habanero Sauce, Tortilla Chips & Lime wedges, and a Grilled Jalapeno. Order is in, and I'm enjoying that Cold Modelo Draft - it's going down smoooooth. Well, it not only happens to be St. Patrick's Day, but in San Angelo they are having a Pub & Grub Crawl with 15 different places to crawl too on the map that we have. We can do that - so off we went. We parked right in the middle of where they show five locations. We started our crawling and guess what, we only see three locations here. Two of the five are empty buildings. Anyway, we crawled across the street because that's what you're suppose to do on St. Patrick's Day, to the 'Fat Boss's Pub' because we know they have Green Beer. Crawled in and no one is here except one guy at the bar and the bartender. Took a seat and ordered two Green Beers. Bartender said they have that, but you're a day late. The Pub & Grub Crawl was yesterday. Now I feel like a fool. Anyway, we enjoyed our cold Green Beer on St. Patrick's Day and it went down real smooooooth. While we were there a bunch of girls crawled into the Fat Boss's Pub and we laughed because we know it's not the Pub & Grub Crawl day, who would do a thing like that.
