A teacher named Manuel grabbed a little girl by the arm, yelled at her, and snatched something from her hand, then threw it across the floor. All the children nearby looked scared and shaken. This behavior is completely unacceptable, especially from someone entrusted with the care of young children. No child should ever be treated like that in a school environment. I am sharing this because I believe in protecting all children and ensuring schools are a safe and nurturing place to learn. I hope the administration takes this seriously and investigates. Parents: Please pay attention. Teachers should be role models, not bullies.

The teachers daughter actually reached out to me through a yelp private message saying I had potentially ruined his image by posting this review and that the reason why he was there was because her kids were current students and he wanted to help her get a discount and that her father has provided meals for the children when the school couldn't. I stand by my review because I was truly concerned about the way he yelled and grabbed that child along with my other findings.

The pastor keeps them all as part time employees so he obviously doesn't have to pay any benefits. So the teachers don't last. Some of them were amazing! The type of teachers you want for your kids. But minimum wage doesn't pay bills. So there is a lot of change that isn't good for kids. It was an amazing school in the past. Not anymore.

We wanted our children to be in a safe, loving and nurturing environment. And this exceeded all of our expectations!!!! The director, Miss Lety, is a kind and loving woman. She became like family for our family. She truly loves all of her students and their families. Academics for us was secondary, but luckily the academics are great! Now that my son has finished kinder we need to find a new school and we are also moving to Orange County. The schools we have applied to in OC have asked us to get our children assessed to see where they are at academically and BOTH of them are A YEAR AHEAD! They learned so much a Children's Academy of Success but they were still allowed to be children and not forced to be little learning robots. I guess they learned having fun! My son had Miss Bianca and Miss Sinttia and LOVED them My daughter has had Miss Alma, who is an angel on Earth. Don't hesitate to enroll your kids here.

Ask for Ms Lupe, she's a sweetheart and very helpful too! Also, last year in 2011-2012 school year I asked the principal if she was aware that a sex offender lived across the street and she said "no, I'm not aware but if you have any concerns you have to go to the police" I just don't get it how she's in charge of a school and won't take the time to check the Megans law website or am I just over reacting?

The tone felt unnecessarily harsh. I understand that supervising many kids at once can be challenging--I have six years of experience working in children's ministry--but there are respectful and effective ways to communicate with kids without raising your voice excessively. Children deserve patience, guidance, and a calm environment where they feel safe and supported, especially during unstructured times like recess. Hearing that level of yelling was upsetting and made me question the approach being used. Because of this experience, I would not feel comfortable recommending this school at this time. I encourage parents to observe and ask questions to ensure the environment aligns with how they want their children to be treated and supported. Poor children , do they really need a loud speakerphone to speak to children? I mean their ears are not even developed like ours. My voice would be enough. Whoever was yelling was also using one of those things that coaches use. I'm not sure what it's called. I will be speaking to Dr.kacou since I called the office wanting to speak to her hopefully this matter is resolved

The teacher would hold the students back past dismissal time, would not acknowledge the parents, would leave me talking, minimize my concerns, and set my child for failure. In one year that my daughter attended she did not learn to read or write. Unfortunately, we are not able to leave because the other schools had met their enrollment capacity. Now, my daughter is below grade level but is working hard at the new school with the support of her new teachers to catch up. The only thing we miss about this school is the spirituality. I tried countless times to address the concerns, I spent the year in countless meetings trying to come to an understanding for the teacher, Elena Haas's capacity to teach Kinder, age-inappropriate curriculum and anxiety my daughter had developed. My concerns were not addressed. Monsignor Lorenzo who is in charge of the school was not able to come to an agreement with the teacher and Principal to provide a simple parent meeting to discuss academic concerns. At other schools, Principals invite parents on a monthly basis to coffee with the principal to maintain communication and address concerns. But not at this school. This school is clean and does a good job spiritually but academically they are terrible. If you want to give your child a solid academic foundation, you should take them somewhere else. This school also is more interested in your money than in your child's academic career. Expect to donate and give money to the school every week. The school will not sponsor any event, although they charge higher tuition, higher service hours and higher annual tuition than other schools.
