After touring San Juan while on a shore excursion from the Carnival Celebration, my family and I both took a taxi to nearby diamond/jewlery stores. I had purchased for Mother's Day already a sapphire ring for mom, while we were in the Dominican Republic. I wanted to get her some more things because 1) Mother's Day was a few days away when we returned to Miami and 2) This was a huge trip for us. This was a celebratory trip for her beating Cancer. I came to the Blue Diamond Stores specifically because a special event on the Carnival Celebration mentioned that the Blue Diamond stores carry Glow of the Carribean Blue Topaz jewelry. This type of jewelry is unique because it glows in the dark, if enough light before shined into the stone. So we walked into the outlet store and looked specifically at the Glow of the Carribean Blue Topaz jewelry they had. My mom chose one of the necklaces and since I thought the price was right, I purchased it on the spot. It look absolutely beautiful and I can confirm it does glow. I took pictures of what it looks like before and during glow, check them out. She was ecstatic for the gift; I was happy purchasing it. The salesman I bet was happy too. In all seriousness, he was very helpful showing the different pieces and patient with our questions. All in all, it was a great purchasing experience.

While browsing other watches met Henry. He is extremely knowledgeable and courteous. He took the time to show all the watches at the store and talk about each watch heritage. Also, was warmly welcomed by Maggie, the store manager, to ensure my questions were answered. They are a great team and highly recommended them while visiting Old San Juan. It is important to me to have a good relationship and experience with an AD and they are now one of my top watch dealer.

I just had to check out the store. Boutique Cartier Puerto Rico San Juan is located on the Condado strip. The boutique recommended appointments to avoid wait times but I had no issues walking in off the street to look around. I am guessing appointments are for serious buyers. I felt way underdressed in my vacation beach attire but I headed in. There was a guy inside the door that welcomed me. I am guessing a very well dressed and polished security guard from appearance & demeanor, and not not so much a general doorman. As a salesperson approached, I mentioned I had never been in a Cartier Boutique and wanted to look around. He invited me to do so and to let him know if I had any questions. There were selections of fine jewelers, watches, handbags, accessories, fragrances, and eyewear. I fell in love with a Panthère de Cartier bracelet and as I was looking through the glass the sales person asked if I wanted to see it up close. He pulled the bracelet out of display and guided me through the piece highlighting the details and its beauty. The guest service and care were remarkable, even when I explained I was just looking while on vaca and would not be purchasing. I truly appreciated the time and friendliness of the shop. When I got back to the hotel I google the piece. It was roughly 56K, so for me, a dream that well exceeded any budget I would have for such a item. To say the designer piece left a favorable impression, and the boutique as well, is an understatement.

The staff is very helpful and certainly know what they're doing. I have gotten lots of compliments on my hat and I don't think I've ever gotten compliments on any other item of clothing! On my recent visit I got a wider brimmed hat and the service hadn't changed from when I bought my first hat in 2019. These are not cheap hats (you can get those at Walgreens if that's all you need) but they aren't terribly expensive (north and south of $100). If you want to spend more, ask them to show you the special hats in the back room). I also have a 20x to 60x powerjewelers loupe. This is the results: 1). Dichroscope: ONE color,single refraction from all 5 angles of examination. 2). Refractometer: Single refraction value of 1.52 from ANY view. 3).Loupe: No inclusions in the stone...just bubbles. The jerk sold me a bonifide piece of GLASS. Absolutely confirmed FRAUD.
