I had purchased for Mother's Day already a sapphire ring for mom, while we were in the Dominican Republic. I wanted to get her some more things because 1) Mother's Day was a few days away when we returned to Miami and 2) This was a huge trip for us. This was a celebratory trip for her beating Cancer. I came to the Blue Diamond Stores specifically because a special event on the Carnival Celebration mentioned that the Blue Diamond stores carry Glow of the Carribean Blue Topaz jewelry. This type of jewelry is unique because it glows in the dark, if enough light before shined into the stone. So we walked into the outlet store and looked specifically at the Glow of the Carribean Blue Topaz jewelry they had. My mom chose one of the necklaces and since I thought the price was right, I purchased it on the spot. It look absolutely beautiful and I can confirm it does glow. I took pictures of what it looks like before and during glow, check them out. She was ecstatic for the gift; I was happy purchasing it. The salesman I bet was happy too.
