Bait and switch, RUDE, and no communication from the owner to address their error…read moreI dropped off two bags of wash and fold laundry; specifically sheets, towels, a blanket and comforters, after being drawn to the business because they offered a 20% off coupon on comforter laundering. When I received my laundry back, half of it was laundered and half of it was dry cleaned. To be more specific, one pillowcase, one sheet and one comforter was dry cleaned. The other pillowcase, the other sheet, and the other comforters were laundered. When I inquired about the $284 charge, which should have been $42, the lady at the desk, was very rude and hung up on me. When I called back, she accused me of hanging up on her. I asked to speak to the owner. She said the owner would not talk to us because she was busy and on the phone, but had offered a $35 credit towards future cleaning. "No thank you," I said, "I'd like to speak with the owner." She then proceeded to yell at me again. When I attempted to ask to speak to the owner again, she belligerently told me to stop interrupting and that she would hang up on me again if I continued. I have left several messages and have not received a phone call back from the owner. I would not recommend this place, my experience was horrible and I paid additional $238 for one dry cleaned pillowcase (it's mate was laundered as I ordered), one dry cleaned sheet (whose mate was laundered as ordered), and a dry cleaned comforter, which I did not order. To make matters worse my wife is allergic to perc (the dry cleaning ingredient) so we now have to take them elsewhere to be laundered so we can use them. I am not a person who leaves bad reviews. However, I have used wash and fold and dry cleaning services for over 30 years. (Not my first rodeo.) The level of overcharge compounded by rudeness is why I am writing this review. Stay away.

I've only recently started going to this dry cleaner, on my 4th visit today 9/18 /23 at 5:55pm, not…read more5 minutes after leaving the store, I had several fraudulent charges on my credit card. I only use one card and get alerts on all my charges, so I know for sure it was Eastfield cleaners. The Apple corporate security called me that a $800 purchase was suspicious, then I got more charges for Papa Johns and others. It's too bad they have shady staff there, because they do a good job on dry cleaning and alterations. Keep an eye on your credit card if you decide to drop off your cleaning here! UPDATE: The owner Mr. Gerald Wright contacted me immediately and will be investigating this incident through his security camera footage and disciplining/terminating the employee. He's also purchasing a wireless payment terminal so customers using drive-thru don't have to hand over their credit cards. I'm very impressed with the owner's concern and immediate attention to this matter and will continue to use Eastfield cleaners.

I opted not to get my dresses cleaned as I was trying to keep it budget friendly. There is no way to confirm prices as they aren't listed. When I returned to pick up the items, the same woman said that the overalls were actually $11 and charged me. Since she already cleaned them, there was nothing I could do. But she had looked me in the eye three days before and told me a different price. Essentially, she lied. She examined the pieces beforehand, quoted me a price, and then didn't honor her quote. When I protested, she said other customers she charged $12, but for me, she charged $11, which doesn't make sense bc I saw her one time and I know I'm special and all, but it's not like we hit it off and she wanted to give me a discount. It wasn't that vibe. As for the quality, I have only worn one of the sweaters since and it doesn't seem very clean. It is pressed but it still has a lot of pet hair on it which is why I took it in. Overall, I am very disappointed with my first dry-cleaning experience in NC. Hopefully, I will find a more trustworthy business.
