It is a beautiful venue. Despite all of their earlier confirmations, the venue later declined my booking and claimed the date was unavailable, even though they had repeatedly assured me it was open. When I asked about alternative dates, they said they'd get back to me and never followed up. This forced me to completely rearrange my event on short notice. On top of that, the way I was treated in person felt noticeably different from how they spoke to or interacted with other clients. This made me feel unwelcome and singled out, which no customer should ever experience. Overall, the lack of communication, inconsistency, and unprofessional behavior made this a very disappointing experience. I genuinely hope they take this feedback seriously and improve how they treat prospective clients and handle bookings.

Prices add up because portions for most things are small. But we had a delicious dinner with only one thing I wouldn't recommend. Whipped feta salad: really delicious and surprising. It was tomatoes and olives with a delicious feta purée and a gorgeous presentation. Also a good portion. It doesn't come with bread but we added some on Salmon special roll with truffle. It's the truffle sauce that makes this dish. Otherwise it's a pretty ordinary salmon roll. But we enjoyed it. Seabass: this was super yummy. The asparagus it was served with was also delicious. We were still a little hungry so we ordered the little salmon crispy tacos. These were very boring and not a great value for the price. I would not recommend them. We still were hungry so we split dessert and it was extremely delicious and a perfect way to end the meal. Julian recommended the Kadaif. Yum! Overall a delicious meal. And a great reason to stay at the Glen Mark, because it's easy to have dinner and then go back to your room. Super cute and tasty place.

Palladio banquet hall made every single aspect of our wedding absolutely fantastic. I cannot rave…read moreenough how much I absolutely love this hall, the food, and most importantly its staff. Let's take a step back, when we were reviewing over wedding venues, Palladio was definitely at the top of our list. My sister had gotten married here two years before and the experience that we had with the staff in the management was nothing less than world class. After reviewing a few halls, Palladio was a no-brainer, we automatically clicked with the entire team, and I am beyond grateful that we chose this venue for our wedding. Everything was executed to perfect perfection. The hall was one thing I could tell you at my wedding I did not worry about at all. We ended up deciding not to drape the walls because I love the way the natural walls look, and we ended up with the white floors with the gold outlining. Everything we wanted was custom tailored to exactly fit our needs. Raffael make sure to go over everything with us so that we did not miss anything two weeks prior to the wedding and then followed up a week prior to make sure that every single detail was taken care of. The main reason we chose Palladio, and the reason we always choose Palladio, even for our home catering events, which they also do, is because the food is absolutely top-tier amazing. We are all very big foodies and the food served by the hall makes a really big difference for us. The food is always perfection, the crab salad is my absolutely everything on this planet. The ice cream that they bring at the end is always a hit with my guests. Every single guest that I spoke to after my wedding was raving about how delicious everything was, and I from experience can't tell you for multiple weddings that I've attended that their food is top-tier very delicious!! But putting everything aside, let's go back to the best part of the venue. The team! I am beyond ungrateful to all of them, Jerry, who is the Security manager is the sweetest man and makes your entire experience well worth it. They are just so sweet and accommodating to you on your wedding date, and before. They crack jokes and had fun with us before we went out to relieve some of the nerves and I am very thankful because as a bride, I was very nervous. Thank you, thank you Palladio for helping my wedding. Be exactly what I wanted, I have absolutely nothing but amazing things to say about the venue and the team. I can't wait to do my next event there!

This was my first time here as well as the aforementioned pizza place, so I was pleasantly surprised what I came upon in this nestled neighborhood street just off downtown Glendale. This review was specifically for "The Lounge At Glen Arden Club" location as apparently the name encompassed several locales. As a whole, The Glen Arden Club had a rich history in Glendale that dated back to 1930. It has recently been revived as an exclusive social club serving a diverse cross-section of the community. Its features included a grandiose bar, historic ballroom, a sitting room and lounge, private cigar locker and lounge, as well as a VIP room, and of course this casual outdoor lounge. Having grown up in the community, I was not aware of this club whatsoever, so I was excited to learn about it. Would I ardently explore this club in Glendale any further after this first experience!? PURCHASE Allagash Brewing Co. Allagash White Wheat Beer 12floz Bottle Poured ($9.00): Lemony yellow color, floral wheaty aroma, low body, bready sweet flavor, crisp smooth finish, and a light bready sweet aftertaste. One of my favorite beers! https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=24&select=N-HJaAthGBTYK6K8vC_UTQ SERVICE An affable young gentleman behind the bar warmly greeted me as I checked out their alcohol beverage offerings. Once I placed my order, he opened the beer bottle, poured it into a chilled glass, and off I went to an empty table as I waited for my takeout dinner order. All was easy-peasy, especially since I was the only customer at the time (a group shortly arrived after I got my drink). PARKING (FREE) Strictly only street parking along the main drag of Arden Ave. and all surrounding residential side streets, so please make sure to read all posted signs carefully - 'nuff said. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE A casual simple outdoor patio area with several chairs/tables under the cover of both roofing and umbrellas with a focal bar area https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=24&select=Nps3ZRbNBrml56Yj38HV2g for only placing drink orders (sadly, no beer taps). Plenty of natural lighting since you were outdoors while an assortment of hung electric lights filled in the rest. I didn't recall any TVs although it would be a great space to have some while I believed Top-40 music played in the background. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=24&select=XDmcJeyKowREyE8PdIQV0w ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL The Glen Arden Club - specifically The Lounge At Glen Arden Club - was fine but nothing special. I saw it as a nice place for some outdoor drinking and such during the hot summer nights, but other than that, it was a place for a quick drink while I waited for my food to be done. However, I was intrigued by the actual social club and would like to check that out but not have to pay to join it. I was a bit disappointed by the minimal drink options https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=24&select=1nmgcEuAPHDkO-u35_8o8g but I understood probably why that was since I felt this wasn't necessarily meant to be a standalone bar/lounge. The prices were higher than expected for what you got while the service was easy, quick, and straightforward. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $10.00 BEFORE any discounts/tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice...
