The plackets were not shortened, and the new stitching was visibly coarse versus the original, which makes the shirts look like they were altered by a careless, blindfolded hack. And these are high quality garments. I am taking my business elsewhere and recommend you avoid this place for all but the crudest work where quality does not matter. Also, the staff (daughter?) had an offputting, haughty attitude. I am seriously considering discarding the altered garments, so value was abysmal.

The first time I went in I was treated extremely rudely and made to feel like I was a nuisance. I chalked it up to someone having a bad day. When I returned to collect my item, I was treated equally bad. I did nothing to provoke this treatment either time (except walk in the door.) Frankly I am not sure how they stay in business. I expected the dress needed to be hemmed, and taken in at the darts on the bust. It's a strapless number, so it needs to fit well in the bust department! I was a little surprised because the gal told me it needed a lot more alterations that I thought. She told me the bust would have to be altered significantly because the dress was designed for someone with more waist and less bust than me. Ha. After much pinning and discussion, I agreed, although I was uncertain what the outcome (or price!) would be. When I picked the dress up, it fit fabulously. The hem was nice, and I felt way more comfortable in the strapless dress than before they made the alterations. And it only cost $85. I was very surprised. The last time I remember getting a dress altered, it was almost the cost of the dress! I'll definitely be using Alteration Solutions again.

Found out today that they are *closed Sunday-Tuesday*, but only after I drove over and was standing outside their door. Would recommend that they at least put a sign up on their door with their adjusted days/hours of being open, especially since I'm sure they want folks' business. That being said, the owner of the shop is the sweetest little lady and does very good quality work. She has advised me several times on what makes most sense with altering clothing and I'm always happy with the end result. It's a little pricey, but worth it if you really love the clothing piece and want to make it last a long time/look like it was made for you. They often have a cute little dog in the shop. For those wondering, I was told they're open Wednesday-Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm.

I returned and they needed additional time, seemingly quickly sewing the whole front in place so that the buttons were unusable. When I complained she first stated that my request was impossible (but never called to discuss this,) then changed her story to say that this over -the-head sweater mode (which now made the sweater completely unusable with a dress,) was what I had initially requested. At home I did the work myself, so obviously her "expertise" was a sham. Now calling the Better Business Bureau to obtain my money back.

I thought the fittings for my wedding dress were going well initially. When I went to pick up my…read moredress from my dress shop that we were doing alterations out of, I was informed she never brought my dress back even though she told me it would be back 2 weeks prior. The bridal store had to drive it to me to have it ok my wedding day so I had it on time. On my wedding day, my boning in the dress that she altered was coming falling back. Wire sticking out everywhere and cutting me all night. Straps were also made to give me support while dancing and I was measured for twice. Put them on during my wedding day and they didnt even touch me. I could cross them and still have room. For what I paid, I am so disappointed that I was so uncomfortable on my wedding day. They made me regret the dress I picked because how many problems I was having all day.
