Cary (the owner) came in with the first of several estimates. Of the contractors I contacted, he best understood what I wanted. My house had rotting window frames, uneven bad-looking shake shingle siding that was long past the day I should have done something about it. A house down the street had the look I wanted, and Cary quoted me the price. I also asked about replacing my front and side doors. The siding color I wanted was a special order, so I had to wait a couple weeks for it to be made. It was well worth the wait. Lifetime supplied a brand called "Perfection" and it is truly perfect siding. The siding sections lock together in a way that I don't think even a hurricane would loosen them. All the rotted wood was replaced with Azek trim. The result is my 70-year-old run-down house now looks like a new build. The doors that leaked cold air during the winter are gone. I am very satisfied.

They came out and gave me an estimate where a competitor wanted to come out and do the work but wouldn't give me a ball park number first. Others didn't respond. The weather caused the appointment to be pushed multiple times (snow and high speed winds which is what caused the damage in the first place), but the work is done and the gutter appears very secure now. Pricing seemed reasonable for the time and materials used. They were friendly and open to various payment options. The estimate came slightly under the quote, (rounding distance so very slight) which is always nice. Notes: I know it's hard being a contractor and taking calls while working, but more prompt notifications about appointments being moved would be nice. Communication wasn't timely but I had the sense that there wasn't a home office fielding work, so I'm certainly more understanding. Hard to be timely when you're dangling from roofs trying to get work down before the next storm wave. They were certainly better than some other contractors I recently worked with.

The original construction of this house was not up to the current acceptable standards , and therefore would not be up to code. Dale took photos, and did a live video walkthrough of the attic area so my husband and I could see the problems , and what was needed to repair this structure. My husband is a licensed general contractor. This job which was a large construction project was done professionally, and in a timely manner, as we were needing this completed before the northeast weather. They quoted me $9,500 for removing and replacing the broken tiles. Two of them worked for less than 6 hours, used a single roll of the cheapest peel and stick roofing material you can buy (supposedly put over a "snow shield" which is just a thin sheet of metal from what I can tell). When I asked for an itemized list of labor and materials they told me that they have to pay $77K a year for a special license to work on asbestos tiles and that they really needed the check ASAP for payroll. I looked it up after the fact and there is no license that cost that much! I deeply regret paying them.

Luckily, it stopped raining…read more I called TG about 10 pm and he showed up first thing in the morning and took pictures of the problem. The picture showed the skylight frame separated and he fixed/repaired. Using his underlayment paper and my roofing shingles left over from a reroofing job performed 8 years ago, he tore out the old paper and reshingled. TG also installed a bathroom exhaust the same day. Very happy with the immediate service and extra work TG performed. We've several downpours since then and no problems. Very fair prices without gouging because of my circumstances.
