We weren't in a hurry to have the job done and wanted it doing right first time around. Alex came and fitted pleasantly and as efficiently as he could bearing in mind he'd been provided with a wrong bracket (NOT by anyone at Comfort blinds, an outside source). He didn't let us down and left us to get the correct one. So all was fitted within the day. Very happy with the result. Worth the $'s for ease of service and installation. A small, efficient and well run company. I'd certainly recommend.

It was great to discover they are still in business and willing to come to my home to take 10 venetian blinds down for me. My blinds were taken away on a Monday and returned early Thursday morning - clean as a whistle and bright white again. The installer, Duong, encountered a problem with broken hardware on one blind, but he was unfazed.... he went out to the truck and returned with new parts. He worked carefully and diligently. I am very happy with the result and feel the cost was worth the hassle of trying to clean the blinds myself. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

All my subsequent messages were responded to within an hour. I am impressed by their responsiveness. + One of the few blind/shade retail stores that also provide repair services in Vancouver. I have a 2-year old roller solars shade in my home previously installed by the building developer. The metal chain of the roller shade came off track and was tangled, resulting in the roller shade to be stuck and not being able to be closed. Most blind companies Who responded only install new blinds/shades that you purchase from them. Greystone is the only one who offers the repair services. + Short wait time. I contacted Greystone on Friday and was able to get an appointment on Monday. Another company that offers the repair service has a 2-week waiting list. The Greystone technician was able to fix the off-track and tangled chain promptly so I could get a good night sleep with no city street light shining from outside again. + Prompt service. The technician communicated with me regularly on the day of the appointment. I received a call 30 minute before my appointment. When the technician couldn't find the building, he contacted me to confirm the address. I was given a one hour window for the arrival time, as opposed to the 4-hour window from other repair appointments. The technician arrived on time and fixed the blind within 30 minutes. The technician Humam was very courteous in all his communication. + Good quality work. The technician Humam did an excellent job. My roller shade can be closed and opened smoothly again. - Cash only. But they sent me a receipt. The quoted price included the tax. So I paid exactly what was quoted. + I would recommend Greystone Blinds to others who need installation and repair services for their roller blinds and solar shades.

We got both black-out and solar shades, so it was great that their materials for those shades had a similar look and feel (not the case with a budget competitor who also quoted). We're so satisfied with the blinds themselves, which look amazing and function so well. But we were perhaps more impressed with the people. Kyle, who measured and installed, was so careful and tuned to the small details that matter - he did an awesome job. And Paul (VP Sales) did the initial visit and an in-person follow-up when we were concerned about one aspect of the installed blinds (which was totally our misperception) - he listened, cared, and was fully invested in making sure we were satisfied. Very highly recommended!
