All shade materials are made in North America and the blinds themselves are fabricated in the Lower Mainland. Support local! We're so satisfied with the blinds themselves, which look amazing and function so well. But we were perhaps more impressed with the people. Kyle, who measured and installed, was so careful and tuned to the small details that matter - he did an awesome job. And Paul (VP Sales) did the initial visit and an in-person follow-up when we were concerned about one aspect of the installed blinds (which was totally our misperception) - he listened, cared, and was fully invested in making sure we were satisfied. I recently had some blinds put in by Budget Blinds. They were for a bay window so 3 individual…read moreblinds were needed. The salesman came and measured. When the installer came to hang them up there was a major problem. The plastic tops of the centre blind and the left blind touched but the fabric material did not. There is a glaring space between them. I called the salesman and asked him to come by to see them. He said no and that he would come when all 3 blinds were installed. To me his reply was a deliberate hot air delay tactic as he never did come over. In the meantime, a new blind was being ordered. When it came it too did not solve the problem. At this point, I told the installer that I was a very unhappy customer and wanted my money back and to take the replacement blind away. He took pictures of the space between the blinds. I don't even know if any one at BB saw them. The blind for the right side never went up. I phoned BB and spoke to a woman who said that they could not give me my money back as they were custom made and that they would go back to the company and would just be thrown away. Needless to say, I was upset. The next morning I called BB again and said to bring the blind back. It was for the right window. She said that the work order had been completed and that all the blinds were up. I said that they weren't. Back and forth our conversation went and she was insinuating that I was lying. Finally, she said to send her a picture of the windows which I did. I received a call from her right away apologizing and I was told that an installer was on this way with the blind for the right bay window. The blinds are now all up but that glaring space between the left blind and the centre blind is still there. I put the full blame of this on the salesman who didn't measure correctly. This was his mistake and as a customer I want it corrected.

I called around to a few suppliers and got the same Sales Pitch, none seemed to have premises, all in home service. I called ShadeZone and was pleasantly surprise to be invited to their Showroom, at a very handy location. The showroom is state of the art, with samples, installed items for demo and such a pleasant and knowledgeable Sales Lady. We selected type and colour, pattern, etc. An appointment was made for someone to come and do the measurements and bring the samples we had chosen to make a final decision. Max came over and did all that was promised. Today Max and his assistant came and did the install, taking away the old blinds, etc. The previous two times we had Blind companies here my wife was left in tears and she's a tough lady, not today the Blinds actually fit perfectly. Exactly as ordered, good quality a very good price. Max is outstanding as a representative of his company. My wife is delighted and so am I.

I went to their office, met Max and told him what I was looking for. Max came over, measured the door and windows, and when they were ready delivered and installed them, they fit like a glove.
