I asked all my neighbors in…read moremy building and the adjacent buildings, who do they recommend to repair the blinds, and without exception, everyone I asked referred me to this company. All the "old-timers" who lived in this area for many years told me that they've only used this company, - some, many times over, - and they all extolled its virtues, both for repairing and for cleaning their blinds. So I called to book an appointment, for someone to swing by and install a new chain and perhaps inspect all the other chains. The woman on the phone knew the area and knew my building well, and we set up a date and time. The pricing seemed reasonable to me, too. My daughter visited me a few days later from Montreal and told me she thought she could repair or replace the chain. (She's kinda the MacGuyver type. Very hands-on, Ms. Fix-It. Not sure where she got those genes lol). Anyhow, we went to this store to get some chain cords. (I should have checked the hours first, as they are closed some days and the first time my kid and I went, of course it was closed that day. We went again the following day and it was open. Yeah!). Note: there is a small parking "lot" in the back of the store, accessible off an alleyway, where you can park for free. We walked through the store, from the back (the rear door from the rear parking lot area) to the front counter area by the front door, passing all the workers and the work room in the rear. Quite the operation they have going on here! It's like a huge warehouse workroom in the back, with tons and tons of all sorts of blinds hanging on racks (who knew there were so many kinds?), long work tables and all sorts of cleaning and repair tools. Anyhow, at the front, I spoke to a lady and gave her a section of my blind's broken chain (I knew they had many different chain ball diameters, so I knew to bring a part of my chain in for them to match). I got a new chain for a VERY reasonable price and we went on our merry way. My kid was able to replace the broken chain (it was a little tricky, especially removing and replacing the valance, but she didi it), and I called this place to cancel our appointment scheduled for the following week. They were super nice about it all. This is a great place. They know what they're doing. And if you are able to fit the blinds yourself, they have the parts here you could probably purchase (as I did). A+.

My blinds were taken away on a Monday and returned early Thursday morning - clean as a whistle and bright white again. The installer, Duong, encountered a problem with broken hardware on one blind, but he was unfazed.... he went out to the truck and returned with new parts. He worked carefully and diligently.
