Murphy beds in the patient's rooms, separate showers for visitors, kitchen area, prayer room, and they even had high chairs and a play room for kids! My family and I were so impressed. We were amazed with the staff. Many staff members were of the younger generation and we were astounded at the devotion and compassion they gave. And although my mother was pretty much sedated the entire time, they treated her like a Queen. They were so delicate, and respectful. They answered all of our questions-- and we had lots of them! They were more than willing to explain the process and keep us informed of every step. My mother passed within 24 hours of entering the facility with her family surrounding her---Three weeks to the day of her diagnosis. It all happened so quickly. Their procedure of when someone passes was beautiful, gracious, and filled with love and respect for the family and the deceased. The entire staff took part in the departure procedure of the deceased. They took care of absolutely everything. It was the absolute best decision to bring our beloved mother here.

Nurses bullied us into letting them take my grandfather for "a few days" because they wanted to manage his symptoms better. He was taken last night and we got a call this morning that he died. They didn't feed him. They didn't give him his medications. They didn't check his oxygen levels because they "don't usually do that" but they PROMISED THEY WOULD BECAUSE IT WOUKD MAKE US FEEL BETTER FOR HIS OXYGEN TO BE STABILIZED. They pumped him up with morphine when we specifically said we only give it to him once a day before sleep. They took him away from us to leave him in a room by himself and die.

We went Wednesday and nursing home said she was already there. We went first thing in the morning Thursday so we would be there. She never showed up. Nursing home kept calling her and they kept saying she was "en route." After 2 more hours of waiting, we had to leave at 8pm. My mom is getting ready to pass in next few hours most likely. But we won't know her actual condition because hospice never showed. Horrible.

They have 17 units for patients to stay in, and my brother's room was much larger than I thought it would be, with more than enough seating for our large family and friends. The nurses that are taking care of him are Ann and Andrea, and they are both perfect for this job as they are very caring. They know that they might be the last persons that he sees before passing away. Each time we have gone up to see him, they have been checking on him many times an hour. They even showed my wife, Sheryl and myself how to get to give him coconut water applied to his lips, as he cannot drink or eat now. You never think to look up these places let alone review them until your family is in need of one…read more And then it happens suddenly. My Mom who is an early senior, not so old at all, had a sudden medical emergency, and when she left ICU, needed a rehab center to regain strength, receive medical care, and re-learn physical movements. This place was GREAT. (This review is for the REHAB facility, not the long-term care.) Mom got a private room that her insurance covered. (She is not old enough for MediCare yet.) The lady in Admitting worked great with the hospital case worker when we were trying to determine where she would go after the hospital. And they worked great with insurance as well. The place is very clean, and recently updated. The rooms are tidy, and well-cleaned as well. Mom got great support from the doctors who are there, and the nursing staff was caring, friendly, and just the right amount of attention, and letting the patients be. But most importantly- Mom really enjoyed the rehab/ physical therapy staff. They were kind, patient, and slowly by appropriately challenged her bit by bit on the physical rehab. They worked 1-2 hours a day. They encouraged family and friends to come by during rehab. They had Mom feeling good during and after all the sessions. Dad was there everyday, and he would go with her to her sessions too, and they were good to him. The only 'con' was the food. Mom wasn't too crazy about that, but that is a minor issue at best. Nobody is there for the culinary experience. We looked at a few other rehab centers along with this one, and they were all depressing places. This one was so tidy and friendly, and quiet and welcoming, we knew 'this was the place' when we visited. We're very happy with the experience here, and the care, and great progress Mom could make when she was here.

The staff is wonderful, friendly and caring and keeps me informed of his care and additional services he needs due to his illness. We have quarterly reviews in additional to just in time calls for approvals needed to enhance his care. I am totally comfortable in the care that this facility and staff provides. They are very trustworthy and I can sleep at night knowing my brother is cared for. Their programs are versatile and progressive so much so that his treatments are tailored for his needs. I highly recommend this facility and staff. Thanks for taking such good care of my loved one.
