Receptionist with glasses is rude. Talks to patients like they're stupid. It's extremely unprofessional.

Rude office people! No compassion and not understanding when patients come to this place is because they are in pain.

Thank goodness my daughter recommended this place. Not many places specialize in TMJ therapy, but thank goodness for Dr. Ko. Very professional. Hands on care excellent. Instructions are easy to follow and understand. Thank goodness he has a pillow to place underneath my knees which helped lessen any lower back pain. The majority of the staff I liked. Nice sitting area while you wait. Many treatment rooms which are also very nice and clean. Parking is usually $6 if you get out on time. There's also metered parking if you choose not to park in the building. They take Anthem insurance. After paying my deductible, each treatment was $15 each afterwards. Well worth it.

He's like a detective searching for clues for root causes then treats it accordingly. For example. when my podiatrist said there was nothing wrong with my foot, Dr. Ko found issue and treated it. The office staff is friendly and welcoming making each visit a pleasant experience. The space is light, airy and clean with large windows. Dr. Ko is a physical therapist who listens to your pain and knows how to treat it.

The pain was so bad, it was difficult for me to chew on that side of my mouth. Even opening my mouth wide for the dentist was extremely challenging. Yawning was a nightmare. Working in tune with all the little nuances of my life to curate a care plan and treatment that helped me push through and taught me how to be aware of triggers and how to best work through rehab process. He was the one who also helped me get my spinal tumor found as he knew that something wasn't working right when the treatment (at the time) had plateaued, and he encouraged further medical testing. That resulted in a spinal fusion and he worked to get me back in functioning order - most importantly, safely. This genuinely may have saved my life. When I think back to the weeks & months immediately following surgery I do not know how I would have survived or rehabbed safely without physical therapy - hands down. I'd refer anyone I know looking for physical therapy to him, and trusted him to handle my mother's case & my husband's pre/post-op PT journey as well. He's caring, easy-going, knowledgeable, and I'll miss him up in Glendale but know his future OC patients are in amazing hands!

The exercises and techniques provided were practical, clearly explained, and easy to follow at home. I appreciated how patient and knowledgeable they were during each session -- Jeffrey Truong is a blessing to have as a therapist. I never felt rushed, and all my questions were answered thoughtfully. One thing that truly stood out was their flexible scheduling. It made a huge difference in managing appointments alongside my work schedule, and I'm very grateful for their willingness to accommodate my availability.

The…read moregood: they mean well and are very personable, took their time on the initial assessment, and gave me some exercises that aligned with my condition. The bad: they were terrible at empathizing with your pain, didn't explain the "why" behind their treatment, unorganized with distributing your regime, and failed to keep themselves accountable to improving my symptoms. Examples: I asked lucas for a diagnosis and he said they don't give any. I'm sure that's technically accurate, but come on dude, clearly there's something you could tell me if you're giving me specific exercises. On the initial visit you get 4 or so exercises digitally delivered (awesome), but each subsequent visit they give you 2 more ONLY verbally, which quickly becomes overwhelming, especially if the movement is complicated and you don't have the name for it. Am I supposed to do these daily? How many sets? Where's the video reference point for all these? On the 11th and final session, I came with more pain than I had began with, and they failed to give me any closure. Instead it was just another session, no final eval, no "here's what we'd try instead", nothing. If their goal is to actually help with pain, why aren't they keeping themselves accountable to that end? I found another pt who confirmed their exercises were good but incomplete - I needed way more neck retractions and upper thoracic work. Fingers crossed that does the trick.
