Whenever the main carrier doesn't work the secondary carrier always mixes up the nail it says my mail is delivered in my locker but nothing is there this happened continuously when you have people that set in temporary as a carrier . read more

I have a situation where my package said it was delivered by USPS yesterday 2/28/2024 in my mailbox. When i checked my mail their was no package. I've called the Post Office in Temple over 30 times over and over and no one seems to know how to answer the phone. They have to do better. If the people there don't know how to do their job then the manager should find someone who can. Theirs plenty of people looking for work. read more

Why are postal carriers taking cash from people without giving them their package? No receipt or anything notated about this?

I had a situation where a package from eBay showed as delivered but it was not found anywhere. Suspect substitute delivery person left it laying on the ground by the mailbox and someone snatched it. PO manager said she would talk to delivery person and see if they remembered delivering it and would let know what they said. The manager will not call me back for some reason even though the regular carrier has ask her to for me multiple times . I cannot call her because their phone system does not take calls. No one answers and when it rolls to voicemail a message says the mailbox is full then hangs up. It's been that way for the last 10 days I've been trying to call. read more

Here for while I've been having problems with a Mail Carrier when they fill in for our Main Carrier Guy. This unknown carrier, they never deliver my mail and they have already lost 2 of my packages! on the tracking it says delivered, but not here at my house. who knows what they're doing with the packages if they're stealing them or simply not checking for the right address on the package! I've yet to see those packages that have been missed delivered. I've called and put in multiple missing mail forms and still haven't gotten a response. I really hope something changes cause not only am I losing my money when they lose them but the packages coming in are for my daughters birthday and it's just unfair for her not to get them .so I hope someone can open there eyes and see that what's happening here isn't okay. read more

Got a new mail carrier working in our neighborhood. Absolutely refuses to walk three steps to deliver the mail to our box. We live in a circle so there isn't much space to park 15 feet away from the mailboxes. He refuses to deliver the mail because he can't drive his truck up next to the box so we go two or three days of him not delivering the mail and then writes "box is blocked" on the mail. There is literally nothing 4 or 5 feet on either side of the box so it isn't blocked, he just refuses to take three steps out of his truck to put it in the box even though he has to walk to our neighbor's front porch to deliver hers. Laziest SOB mail carrier I have ever met. You need to train your employees better or find less lazy people, it's three steps from the truck to the box, get over yourself. read more

Came in from Austin for a passport appointment, which I was unfortunately late due to traffic. Nervous they would turn me down, thankfully Lydia happily took care of me. Temple USPS SUCKS!!!! They do not answer the phone and don't deliver mail on a timely manner.

Since they closed down the other post office on Canyon Creek Drive, this USPS is the only remaining one left in the entire city of Temple. C'mon.. Killeen has three post offices. Not fair! Although, I've heard some good news as I was dropping off my packages today. The postal worker informed me that there might be another post office in the works. *fingers crossed* Postal workers are friendly despite the chaos, and the wait line can sometimes move really slow depending on how many employees are working. This place can get pretty packed and parking is limited. I almost got rear-ended today by some lady cutting in as I was parallel parking my SUV. There's lots of people rallying for front row parking, so be prepared to move swiftly. Otherwise, you're going to have to park across the street. read more

I know this post office employees more then 1 employee to work the front counter. Especially on a Monday morning 9 customers in line 1 worker. Something is wrong with that picture! This is so bogus! Closing the other station was the dumbest decision ever!! Maybe if they cut the higher ups pay then they wouldn't need to close stations at all. Just a thought!!! read more

The Temple Post Office consistently claims to have attempted to deliver on Amazon Sunday when in reality they made no attempt at all. This has happened several times. The post office reports to Amazon that "the business was closed" when they tried to make the delivery. First, the delivery is to a private residence, and the private residence has a host of security cameras that catch anyone on or near the property. The most recent delivery that the post office claims to have attempted took place on Sunday, September 13, 2020. Ironically, another delivery from Amazon, made by their own Prime Delivery, was made with no problem the very same day. Shame on the Temple post office for not only the poor service but for not providing an accurate report to Amazon. read more

Good service, crappy hours. You gotta take time off of work to make it to the lobby on weekdays. No self service kiosk after hours is a real inconvenience for a city this size hence one star deduction. Employees are usually nice. read more

I'm sorry. I really hate to leave a 1-star review, but in this case, I think it's well justified. I DO want to say that there are some INCREDIBLY helpful and polite employees that work there. In fact, if I were rating the staff that *I* deal with on a regular basis, I'd be at 4 or 5 stars. The office itself is CONSTANTLY losing packages. As in, you go in with a slip from a missed delivery, and they can't find it. It's happened to me several times. They only answer the phone 50% of the time. They miss outgoing scans on insured items. And they're in a town with 70,000 people and there's only ONE office, and they're not open on Saturday at ALL anymore, evidently. When are the folks with M-F 8-5 jobs supposed to go to the post office if they need to? It's so poorly managed, you'd think the government was involved. read more

The passport guy is extremely rude. You can tell he doesn't like being asked questions even though that's part of his job. He talks down to people as if they should already know all of this stuff. My husband made a few mistakes on the applications and he made such a big deal about it. Do not recommend this post office for passport services. read more

Hands down the worst post office I have ever been to. I have gone over 2 weeks without receiving my mail. I tryed to call the post office but no one will ever answer the phone. So Friday was the finale straw I took time out of my day to go in person to get my concerns adressed and questions answered. I asked to speak to a supervisor. The said " we will page someone" still standing at the counter 30 min later no one ever came to talk to me. I only go here to drop things off in the boxes. The lines inside are ridiculously long, and staff isn't very friendly. Parking is a total pain! If you come here, park across the street at First State Bank. read more

This is the worst post office. I have had 5 times of them not picking up mail from my home & with the red flag up. I was sick 3 months ago & had fever on a Saturday he did not pick up, so I had to get out of bed & go to. Again, today happened again & I was told this would not happen, as my address would be put in their meter, lied. Now I have to go to post office instead of going with my husband to doctor & get this in the mail. A letter to the court should have been post marked today, not. They should firer this guy, as he just shoved all out going mail to the back & put my mail in & left the red flag up. What kind of people is handling our mail? So I placed a call and the recording said my estimated wait time will be 1 hour and 50 minutes. seriously??? That was the 800 number. I called the local number and let it right 50+ times and no one answered. So, I thought I would leave a note in my mailbox to get help, but it was also ignored. We placed a hold on our mail while out of town. Picked it up according to schedule. We've been back now 6 days and still no mail is being delivered or picked up. Carrier is totally incompetent! Prior to the hold some days the mail would be delivered before 11:00 am some days after 6:30 in the evening. Be cautious before you place your mail on hold you may never see it again! Recourse - I think not. read more
